I had an extremely negative experience with this company. I would rate them zero if I could. They…read moredon't circulate the papers and are just trying to rip businesses off. Even if you visit the stores they have listed, you won't be able to find the paper. Talk to the employees there and they will explain the paper NEVER shows up. On top of that, they were very difficult to deal with and unprofessional. Despite addressing all of our concerns, they still have not processed a refund. I'm not even sure if they can be considered a legitimate company, as they are a complete joke. This is a full scam so buyer beware. Use other advertising strategies.

Wow the most out of touch newspaper around…read more Every time I pick up an issue I need to check the date to make sure nobody left the April fools copy around - from 1997. I'd like this thing to have a local scoop but it doesn't. The lead story here is the Venice freak show which had had a reality TV show for what? 3 seasons. I open it up. Ads ads some NIMBY letters to the editor, ads. Every now and then they have recommendation articles by people who I think are perfectly content at the 7/11 grab n go by how the lists turn out. I feel sufficiently less informed and have increasingly less insight into my community as I turn each page. Valuable memory space gets filled with these um fills? I hate to be brash but even the original reporting is um, underwhelming ... let me just take a picture

As a resident of West Hollywood, I've read LA Weekly for decades. But 6 months ago, all of the…read moreplaces I would get it from every week, just stopped carrying it. I contacted them and was offered 3 other locations. But now, they've disappeared from those locations, as well. I've tried contacting them by phone and via their website. But repeatedly, no one answers the phone, and they repeatedly never respond to voicemail messages. They used to, but not anymore. I know they were sold again recently, so it's starting to appear that they (like other print publications) may have stopped their printed editions in favor of just being made available online. All said, they've always had GREAT content, but WHEN or IF you can pick up a copy locally anymore. And at least either answer your phone or respond to inquiries because we've started to lose interest.

LA Weekly, I truly expected you to be more in-line with other alternative newsweekly publications…read more Instead, you seem rather superficial, just like so much other fluff in this city of angles (yes, angles). My expectations for pseudo-investigative journalism and political pieces flanked by editorials filled with foaming-at-the-mouth liberalism were so high. The Austin Chronicle puts you to shame in these departments. I'll give credit where credit is due, though. Thank you for a rather thorough concert calendar. And thank you for being free and plentiful, as well, because you'll come in handy the next time I have to move and need to wrap my dishes again.
