Laura really knows her stuff and had no problems answering all of my silly questions related to my web site and how I could optimize it for search engines! Ask her any questions you got about HTML, CSS, CMS, Flash or any other acronym you can think of and you will also realize that she knows her stuff, go ahead, I dare you to ask her a tough question...actually, I triple dog dare you (Yeah, I did just triple dog dare you). Her designs are creative and unique, her web sites are fast and efficient, most importantly she is a super-nice person that you can completely trust with crafting your web site to give your business that web presence it desperately needs. If you are looking for a web developer, look no further.

Like any vehicle, it's an investment that one needs to think wisely about. I can't tell you how many times I've run into business owners who cheaped out and spent less on low quality websites only to find themselves unhappy and starting from scratch by having to invest more than if they did it right in the first place. If you run a business, your website is your business card. A professional looking website says a lot about your credibility and a physical business card is merely a link to your website. I know when I look into a business, the first thing I do is find out everything I need to know about them online even if I heard about them through word of mouth (isn't that the same reason you are reading this testimonial right now?) because after all, if my money is going to leave my pocket, I'd better get my money's worth. I have seen a positive change in my business ever since Roeder Studios designed and launched my website (www.tristinstyling.com) in the beginning of 2008 after working purely through word of mouth for 9 years. If you are in search of a web designer right now, you've probably encountered designers who don't seem to have it together or brush you off with the excuse of, "Sorry it took so long to get back to you I'm so busy." I did not experience this with Roeder Studios. Within a few days from my inquiry, Laura Roeder sent me a proposal and we booked a date to meet and sign the contract. During the meeting, we discussed ideas and talked about the nature of my business. She provided me with a time line of how everything should go and give or take a few weeks here and there, the team had the website up by January 2008 as I hoped. Laura provided the best customer service out of all the designers I approached. My website is everything I asked for. Clients love it and find it easy to navigate. In fact, some new clients said that they booked me over my competitors because my website was easier to browse! Beware. This agency claims to be a professional, upscale literary agency for writers. They post…read moretheir ads on places like writers.net. Then, when contacted by someone with a book idea, they employ "reverse psychology" techniques to get you to "rent Wendy's brain." They send a condescending email telling you that you don't have a clue what you're doing, and basically that you're an idiot, and if you want to do anything with your skills, you should pay **$350.00** for a ONE hour TELEPHONE conversation with "Wendy's Brain." Or, better yet, $24,000 for a 6-month program. Bad vibes. Bad news. Run.

I did some research on Keller Media as I am a journalist among other things and read the bad…read morereviews here so I was wary. I figured what the hell and send in a submission. I am a serious writer with lots of credits and I'm also a stand up comic. I'm okay with being rejected, it's the name of the game and I would have preferred a standard form rejection letter instead of some link to a cheesy YouTube video on how to build my platform, like I'm retarded. I have a blog, write for one of the best websites around, I'm on all social media, I do stand up comedy...I have a platform and a way to get it out there! It is a shame because I really liked Wendy Keller's personal story but honestly, I don't really like the way they do business. Remember, be an advocate for your own work, listen to your gut and always remember rejection is God's protection.

I had an extremely negative experience with this company. I would rate them zero if I could. They…read moredon't circulate the papers and are just trying to rip businesses off. Even if you visit the stores they have listed, you won't be able to find the paper. Talk to the employees there and they will explain the paper NEVER shows up. On top of that, they were very difficult to deal with and unprofessional. Despite addressing all of our concerns, they still have not processed a refund. I'm not even sure if they can be considered a legitimate company, as they are a complete joke. This is a full scam so buyer beware. Use other advertising strategies.

I'd like this thing to have a local scoop but it doesn't. The lead story here is the Venice freak show which had had a reality TV show for what? 3 seasons. I open it up. Ads ads some NIMBY letters to the editor, ads. Every now and then they have recommendation articles by people who I think are perfectly content at the 7/11 grab n go by how the lists turn out. I feel sufficiently less informed and have increasingly less insight into my community as I turn each page. Valuable memory space gets filled with these um fills? I hate to be brash but even the original reporting is um, underwhelming ... let me just take a picture
