Food is pretty good, but unfortunately inconsistent (I've gotten the same sandwich multiple times and had different portions/sizes).

I absolutely love this smoothie bar. A lot of smoothie bars typically use unhealthy juices as their…read morebase and I usually discover this after ordering my drink. This store has a few tables, has beautiful local artwork posted on the walls, offers a 10% discount on your first visit, and uses healthy bases with real fruit. I was also really excited to discover that they had a vegan pea protein powder free of artificial sweeteners, which I could add to my drink. We ordered two drinks and were really happy with what we received. THE DRINKS: Ginger Snap - My fiancé ordered the ginger snap without spinach and he really enjoyed his drink. It featured apples, banana, mango and ginger and it was full of flavour. It was sweet and tart and definitely a must try! Drunken Monkey with spinach: - I ordered the Drunken Monkey with vegan protein powder and spinach. I found my drink lacked a bit of flavour (they scoop the fruit into the cup before blending and a big chunk of fruit created a big air hole, which I think is the reason my drink lacked flavour) but I was really happy with the whole ingredients used and the added protein powder. The service was a little slow but the employee was really nice and I enjoyed looking at the artwork on the walls. Would We Return? Absolutely because I like the clean ingredients used and the ability to add protein to my drink.

Cornwall has a bubble tea place! And not only do they sell bubble tea, but they sell ice cream,…read moremilkshakes, cake slices, crepes (sweet and savoury) and quesadillas. Oh and did I mention that they sell unusual flavoured snacks like Banana Caramel KitKat, Root Beer flavoured Mike & Ike, and Birch Beer Crush?!? They also had Dr Pepper flavoured cotton candy. Mind blown! Lol. I was super tempted my their $1 a cone ice cream, but decided to stick with my original plan of getting some bubble tea. I went with the regular-sized Lychee Milk Tea ($4.99) and added Cherry Agar Pearls (an additional $1). My husband got a Mint Chocolate Milkshake ($6.99). So the freaky thing is that I totally forgot to tell the guy half sweet (my usual customization when I'm trying out a new place), but magically when I got my drink, the sticker said 50% sugar. Woah, he read my mind, lol. So the toppings list said "cherry tapioca" which intrigued me but when I got the drink, it was obviously agar/crystal pearls that were cherry flavoured. This was also a pleasant surprise because I love crystal boba/agar pearls and actually prefer them to tapioca pearls. I loved my drink. The lychee flavour wasn't too pronounced, but it was still tasty and not overly sweet. The agar pearls were chewy and delicious and the quantity was good. I had a sip of my husband's milkshake and it was really tasty, super rich and creamy, and it was aesthetically pleasing as well. Service was easy-going, as I was a bit indecisive at first and then changed my order as the guy was punching it into the cash register (oops, sorry, hehe). He was super nice and if he was annoyed, he didn't show it at all. If I lived in Cornwall, I would be there all the time. They are close to the highway, so I think not only will every Cornwall trip I make involve a stop here, but any trips on the 401 eastbound from Ottawa will also involve a visit to Sip & Scoop, lol. It's in a plaza with lots of free parking.

The drinks were good, but I was disappointed to see they had removed savoury foods and sandwiches from their menu. All in all, I enjoyed my visit.

This is Whatta Sandwich's second location. Their first is downtown, on Metcalfe. This second…read morelocation is on the ground level of an office building. They have limited hours and are not open on the weekends. They serve mostly the workers in the building and in the other buildings in the complex. There is limited free visitor parking at the front of the complex, which is to your left as soon as you enter (Whatta Sandwich is to your right). The time limit is 2 hours. There is paid parking owned by Indigo Parking for the office workers or if the visitors' lot is full. Whatta Sandwich sells mostly sandwiches, soups, salads and typical office cafeteria food. However, they also sell Korean food!! I had my heart set on the Bibimbap but discovered that the beef bulgogi has sesame seeds in it. Actually, most of their items were covered in sesame seeds such as their Japchae and their chunks of fried chicken in sauce. So the only Korean item I could have was the Katsu plate. I had the choice of chicken or pork and I chose the former. For $11.99 it comes with white rice, coleslaw and one deep fried dumpling. The chicken cutlet was lean chicken breast, and even though it was sitting in a warming tray, it was still pretty crispy. The Katsu sauce was tasty and not excessive in quantity. The rice was well cooked and had a nice texture. It wasn't too dry nor too mushy. The dumpling was good. It had ground meat and cabbage inside (I think it was ground chicken). The coleslaw was vinegar based, which I prefer to the mayo based ones. It was sweet and sour and went well with the meal. Service was to the point and efficient. Food was great for what is essentially an office cafeteria. It's comparable to food court Korean places like KORYO Korean BBQ and Kim Chi Korean Delight. I love finding little hidden places like this :)

I came across Whatta Sandwich just off Baseline road. The cafeteria style restaurant is shiny clean. The workers are super friendly. The main Chef, (The owner) was friendly, and welcoming. This will definitely be a spot I will let other people know about. Thank you for your friendly welcome Whatta Sandwich. 5 Star
