Absolute rip off! I highly recommend that you avoid this business. I was (in advance) charged $30…read moreto have a pair of jeans hemmed. I should have known this was an issue when I was rushed to measure the cut then pay. Based on the reviews here, I went ahead with the order. When I picked up the Jeans up today, they were a basic speed hem, not even euro, and were completely sloppy, crooked, and carelessly done. The worst I have ever gotten. They wouldn't refund me the money. Said they use an external person for alternations like that is some kind of excuse to not refund slop work done via their business. And they sure had no problem taking my money for it to be done. Now I'm out a brand new pair of jeans $50 and this extortionate $30 junk hem. Look elsewhere for honest, professional alterations because it isn't here.

Early on, I asked what those were because $7.35 a shirt is way past my comfort level. On my last visit I noticed that my receipt listed 3 shirts to get hand finishing. I asked which three and why. The clerk pulled out three shirts and said it was because they contained polyester. 1) Many of my shirts are cotton/poly blends and Acclaim had been laundering them for months. 2) Two of the three shirts the clerk said required the special handling were 100% cotton. Maybe the clerk was just having a bad day but I was left with the feeling she was making it up on the fly. Now looking for a new laundry.
