This place charges an exorbitant amount for opening the pool. Opening the pool for $400 consisted…read moreonly of removing the cover putting in 5 pounds of turbo charge and one bottle of algicide. That was it nothing no other chemicals were provided so that was the first $400. Within two days of the opening, the water was incredibly filthy and smelled like a bit Staten pond. I went to the store and they sold me chemicals and I went back several times each time taking a water sample with me and every time I went somebody told me something different . To the tune of $120-$150 a day. I went four times before I finally gave up. Each time I went, I was given a different set of instructions and the pool just kept getting worse. I have now been able to figure this mess out by myself, but I am never going back to them again. The chemicals I can get cheaper at Amazon, Ace Hardware, and Costco. Their employees are not consistent in the advice that they give you and everyone has a different opinion of what you should do. Unless you have a large discretionary income, I would avoid this place like the plaque

Whether it's the Springfield or White House location your going to be absolutely disappointed! Have them check your water and then order chemicals on line or at Wal-Mart. June 01, 2022 This…read moredisaster started in April of 2020 when we hired them to replace the liner of our in-ground pool. It all seemed normal as their showroom looked professional and the in-person customer service was appropriate. They gave an estimate of 4 weeks for a full liner replacement, we signed on the dotted line, and paid 50% up front for the down payment. That was the last decent experience we had with them. Over the course of the next couple months it took them approximately 8 trips to our house to almost complete the installation. Throughout the course of those trips their crew trashed my backyard, intentionally dumped a load of concrete on our lawn, and took over twice the time stated to "install". On their final trip of that installation, the technician ripped the liner and then just left without saying a word. We walked outside expecting to finally see a completed pool when we were slapped in the face by a rip in the liner and a floating light. We called the office immediately to see what the issue was and they told us he would be back out ASAP. Needless to say he never returned. When we confronted them the next day, they started by telling us that the technician said our dogs ripped the liner. Their story later changed to "the liner was recalled for this reason". Eventually they admitted to being at fault and promised to patch the liner for use during that season and to return the next pool season (2021) to install a new liner at no additional cost. Pool season '21 came and it got even worse. From the mouth of their "Sr. Technician", whoever measured the new (2021) liner grossly mis-measured it, causing it to rip at the skim baskets and come off the lip, (costing me well over $1000 in water bills since the tear was nearly invisible with the skim covers in place). They then told us the same thing, we'll patch it for use this season and come back out to install a new liner next season (2022) at no additional cost. Pool season '22 comes and it gets literally as bad as it can get. We had to put off selling our house until the liner has been replaced. I had been calling them since March, just trying to schedule appointments for them to come out. They told me they already have the liner and were ready to install whenever the weather permitted. They refused to make appointments and just kept saying they'd contact us when the weather was right. When they told us it would be done in "hopefully about two weeks", all of a sudden their entire crew had COVID, the Flu, or just decided not to show up. They literally said Hopkinsville is the @$$hole/armpit of America and it's hard to find good workers, people just don't want to work. On May 27th, 2022, they quit and refunded us of our down payment, exactly one week before closing on the sale of the house. After they refunded us our money I discovered that they had been using pictures of the job they never completed at my house for advertising. Also, we attempted to purchase the liner from them because I found a professional crew who is aware of my situation and agreed to help me out and install it, but L&W said they never actually had my liner, and that "it's at the warehouse". I don't think this company has ever called me back regarding an issue. They're very good at saying they will, but don't. Additionally, whenever you ask to speak to someone specific, they're mysteriously always "out of the office right now, but I can take a message if you'd like". I've had to work extraordinarily hard to get into contact with them. Recently they have stopped responding to my Facebook messages, (in my opinion because then there is no record of what was said), but I do have over two years of messenger history. L&W Pools now has an F rating with the BBB, 2 years too late for me, but not for y'all reading this. I would have loved to fire them and use someone else, but they had half the money already and I couldn't afford to lose it.

The guys who came to open up my pool didn't knock to let me know they were here or ask me where the parts were that they needed, I found them INSIDE my garage "looking for what they need to open the pool" with no warning at all. Imagine my surprise when my camera/alarm system notifies me of motion and a door being opened and there's two men I don't know inside my garage? The opening service was garbage, it wasn't vacuumed, they just shocked it and turned the filter on. Needless to say, it's been 5 days and my pool still looks like a swamp. We had to hire another company to come service it.
