The room was clean, comfortable and updated with a view out the back. We stayed in the connected rooms so it was like a motel but they also had separate cottages behind that to stay in. The family that runs it must live near one end where you can see piles of stuff all over. I admit that looked really bad so i was afraid of what the room would be like and my wife and I enjoyed our stay there. We would book another room there, no problem. It was also affordable. Although we did not bring any dogs, the hotel is dog-friendly ($20 extra per night). My only complaint is that they sent someone to knock on our door during the day before check-out to make sure we didn't need anything else. We had the Do Not Disturb sign out and I am extremely private about any place I happen to be rooming at, so I did not appreciate this at all; this would be a five-star review if not for that. All in all, I absolutey would stay here again, but not without telling them not to disturb me if I have the sign on the door! So I called the front desk and asked to move to a room that had a secure window. They moved us to the second floor. This room had a messed up toilet. The toilet seat didn't cover the whole bowl. Also, the air conditioner didn't work properly. We didn't want to be moved again but we will never stay here again.
