I love the pickled onions, habaneros, sautéed onions, and the green chiles. The tacos surely hit the spot when you're hungry. The guys at the truck are so nice and if you get a chance to say hi George.

They are open till 11:30 PM, and they had a line of connoisseurs at 10 PM. I can see why! Their tacos are served hot and made on the spot. Their Asada Tacos with red sauce is great; they give it a great char and their salsa roja is savory and smoky. I especially love their Al Pastor Tacos: spicy, tender pork, with the sweetness of fresh pineapple to give that extra brightness and acidity. By far one of the best Al Pastor tacos I have had in a while, and they get extra bonus points for topping theirs with pineapple as some tacos trucks in LA don't do that all the time. Just thinking about it and typing this makes me want to head there but I will just have to wait till next time. Pro tip - the sprinklers go off on Santa Anita Ave around 10:30 PM, and my friends and I got sprayed so be careful not to stand on the grass during that time.

I already came here for tacos multiple times already but felt like trying something new so I got the California Burrito. They didn't give a receipt but I am guessing it is around $12-13. And I think the tacos are now around $2.50-$2.70. They take card and cash but I believe card has tax. They have the salsas and onions/cilantro out in the table in front of the truck so you can grab yourself while waiting for the food. The food took around 10 minutes are so which wasn't bad. The California burrito was nice and big and very delicious. It comes with steak fries inside with your choice of pork or beef. I went with pork after asking the lady which one she recommended. And it was good! There is also some sauce but I couldn't tell if there was any guacamole. Maybe there was but very little. But the thicker fries was just a perfect combination with the pork and sauce. The only thing lacking is a bit more meat to balance out the fries and some guacamole. I tried a California burrito at another taco truck before but this one is so much better! I will be getting this again and try the beef. I totally recommend this taco truck for tacos and burritos! They taste authentic but just a bit pricer for the tacos. I would say it is more worth on Taco Tuesdays when it is cheaper. This is my go-to taco truck spot.

It's across the street from Ducks. Hard to miss their truck when they're there. I would be careful of any illegal u-turns as there's also a police station nearby. I normally get tacos but their nachos, fries, dirty dog, and flautas are really good! They also have weekly specials. I haven't tried their fish tacos, burritos, or tortas yet but im assuming they wouldn't disappoint. Their sauce bar is basic but has everything you need. Their to-go cups are at the pick up window, probably to help with waste. I dont think their sauces are very spicy but they're fine. My fave is their salsa verde. They're open late which is nice after events. They're fast and super nice! the line can get long at times. 4/5. Would come back again.

She drove from the West Covina mall all the way up to La puente high school 3 TIMES just to make sure it wasn't there. She's been driving for 30 minutes with my toddler now it is 11:12 PM. Her order was supposed to be ready at 10:41. They must've closed early because they are supposed to close at 11 PM. And their phone number DOESN'T work we have been calling since 10:40 PM so we can't even contact them. Now I have to deal with her and my daughter coming back home hangry. And everything is closed right now since it is late Thanks

Bachiyaki is no longer in La puente . March 7th 2026 …read more There is a new truck that's working with Bachiyaki called Flamin Hibachi . Relatives or pals ? Who knows but from their bold statements on Instagram stating that food is "made to order " it's completely false . This truck is not cooking fresh food . I'm not going to say it was Horrible but being in the food industry myself ; stuff like that stands out as a profit business rather than a people's business . Yea we purchase from these food trucks to support the Owners of the company but to serve the people with premade food that's been sitting out and reheated isn't necessarily for the people . It's just a money grab . We want hot fresh food not left overs from the last batch . Rice was sitting Veggies aren't that flavorful I got more fingers on my hand than I got chicken in my bowl Ontop of the food sitting out ; so was their sauces . They aren't refrigerated in order to preserve its flavor . They just marinate in the hibachi heat the truck produces . I ditched "mihibachi" that's down the street ( by the dmv ) for "Bachiyaki" but after this experience with the new chain "Flamin hibachi" I know if I go to "mihibachi" I'll get some fresh food . I expect more from a truck that was blessed by their peers with a permanent spot to set up shop .
