Ordered via DoorDash. We got 2 steak bowls and 1 chicken plate. Not terrible but not good. Both meats were overcooked & dry. 90% of the meal was rice. Love this place!!! I came here with my bf because he's been wanting Hibachi we haven't came because I tried it once before and I did not like it. I decided to give it a try because we had seen this place when we've came to Aldi. I was a bit unsure at first when I looked them up on Yelp and saw a few bad reviews. Glad we still gave them a chance, Jackie took my order, amazing customer service (: she patiently waited for us to be ready to order and answered all of our questions. Now to the fooodd, Ruben prepared our food and it was fireee, I'm a picky eater, and though I was giving it a chance I was not expecting it to be this good. The mushroom and squash were perfect everything was perfectly seasoned. Huge portions!! Worth the price, check it out you won't be disappointed. read more

Truck parked up a little before 5. We tried scanning the QR code on the truck but it's outdated. Found the website and downloaded the ChowNow app and ordered chicken plate (huge portion), yaya noodle shrimp and filet minor and shrimp Bachi combo. Price was higher than I expected, about $90. The wait time was about half an hour. The food is delicious! I might return when it's payday. read more

I had the whole truck come out for my son's 18th birthday to feed the whole crew and they did NOT disappoint! EVERY teenager and adult commented on how delicious the food was. The portions were huge! And they all had food to take home. The food was a huge hit and my son was beyond thrilled. Thank you so much for coming out. Will definitely be using you again. I'll find an excuse to! read more

The Mrs and I had a chicken plate each, one with fried rice and one with regular rice and an order of noodles. The noodles was, in my humble opinion, a small portion. The plates were filled but mainly with rice. Your get two free choices of sauces, the sauces are EVERYTHING! They literally make the meal. When it comes to flavor though, it's just ok. One of my favorite restaurants is Benihanas and I feel like this is a close second but not quite there yet. By no means an i bashing as I do recommend you try it! read more

I'm disgusted by this place. Yesterday I went during the Christmas tree lighting in La puente and the guy who was taking the orders with his hat on backwards was coughing everywhere. Coughing on his hands, in his shirt, AND wiping his runny nose with his hands. He did not wash his hands afterwards and proceeded to serve the food including grabbing the rice to put on the plates with his HAND THAT HE WIPED HIS NOSE WITH! Nasty asf. read more

This place is delicious and affordable for what you get. My husband seen it on Instagram and wanted to try it. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much, I thought it was gonna be like a glorified waba grill but I was wrong! I love Benihana and this tasted soooo much like it. Mostly due to their Garlic butter sauce. I'm not sure if they load it with so much garlic or if it has horseradish in it, but it had the same flavor and heat that benihanas mustard sauce has and that's my favorite! So I was in heaven eating my bowl from here. Also, we ordered it online. Drove 15mins to pick it up, it was ready. Drive 15mins back home and the food was still hot and fresh. CONS: -I wasn't a fan of the type of rice they use, it had the texture of brown rice and was pretty short/thicker grained... but it still tasted delicious. Their veggies were so fresh and cooked perfectly. -there isn't a description of what their sauces taste like so it was like choosing blindly. I'm so glad I chose the garlic though, I will get that every time! -the pieces of steak were cut too big imo, but again that's just my opinion. I'll be coming to this place way more often! read more

DO NOT GO... Wow... We ordered the trio, filet mignon, shrimp and chicken and it was terrible. Chicken was super dry, filet was over cooked (why bother asking how we want it if it's over cooked), shrimp was basic. The rice was dry too. The trio cost $45!!! I expected better for the price and wait. They took really long which is fine but with waiting I expect better care of the food. We also ordered the bachi combo with Yaya noodles. Look at the picture!! It wasn't even half full!! They also forgot the veggies. I'm pretty upset while eating this sad looking and terrible tasting meal. Don't usually write reviews, but this place. Order was taken correctly. Order received, wrong. Missing veggies, got rice when I didn't ask for it. Rice that was given was under cooked. Beef ordered medium rare, actually well done. Chicken, dry. Shrimp, dry. This is pretty sad for something rated as 5 stars. I've driven past this truck many times. Thought It was time to give it a try. A little disappointed. It was good but definitely on the SALTY side. A lot of rice is packed into your plate. I've passed by this food truck for over a year dying to try it and today they were giving away free food! I was able to get a shrimp/veggie/fried rice bowl that typically goes for $18 for free. In my opinion the amount of food per bowl is enough to feed 2 people. We had both chicken and beef and the flavor was good for both. Fried rice was also good. They provided one side of sauce and we got the ginger and garlic butter both were delicious. My fam and I will deff be coming back. Their prices are also reasonable. read more

I wanted to try this place since it was hyped alot in the la puente page on instagram. Order took a bit to come out but I am ok with waiting. The food was overall good but i was dissapointed when I saw a long black hair come out of the rice on the bottom :( I would just suggest to be more careful with that. It might have been there for quite some time considering there were only 2 guys in the truck when it was being made. So, the food was good but the hair kinda ruined it. read more

It was definitely yummy and filling especially coming from a truck, don't underestimate it. I also underestimated the amount of food. The price is debatable since it's a truck but I get it since it's primarily meat and rice. I got the noodles with new york steak- it comes with steak, fried rice (can opt for white rice), veggies, noddles, and 2 sauces. I would recommend getting the new york steak bachi bowl 100% just as filling and worth the money. The plate and bowl are about the same size too so just a heads up. Overall, the food was really yummy and hit the spot especially when you're craving a little hibachi! read more

First time trying this place today...it was so bomb! It was a bit pricey but it was exactly what I was craving and it was so worth it! I got the chicken plate and it's exactly what I'd expect from a place like this! It's a food truck on a pretty busy street but the food was definitely restaurant quality!!!! I placed an order online so it was fast. The diablo sauce is almost like spicy mayo and it compliments the food amazingly! It's pretty spicy (coming from a Mexican so you know it's true lol) so be careful if you're not a spicy fan. Loved it! Will definitely be returning. read more

This food truck was so hyped up but failed miserably. WILL NOT GO BACK! Poor homie with ponytail was by himself doing everything. Waited 45 minutes for our order. We were told at the window to order online because he was alone. Fried rice was overcooked. Filet Mignon was cooked medium as ordered but lacked any flavor. Portions were good. Came with 2 free sauces for each combo but none of them were labeled. We were supposed to try 4 different kind of sauces but only got 2 kinds. Gimme a break. I thought this place could be a regular meal spot but i'll pass. Should went to the birria taco truck 50 feet away instead. I settle for a side of udon noodles and OMG I received spaghetti noddles with cold "spicy sauce" . Disgusting! Will not be back. This is such a hidden gem. I went for the first time on a Friday as soon as they opened and they already had quite a few orders for take-out, so be prepared for a little bit of a wait but it's SO worth it. The garlic butter was the star of the show for me but I ordered the shrimp yaya noodles and it was so delicious. If you're ever in the area this is a must stop. read more

I'm not crazy about the wait time but I don't know how long it takes to prepare this so I usually just order on the app and then wait 20ish minutes past the ETA so it's ready. As we were waiting for our order from another food truck down the street we decided to check this place out. We ordered steak and shrimp with a side of fried rice and veggies. Or second plate, chicken, fried rice and veggies. Our third plate was a side of noodles. Keep in mind if you order fried rice its an extra fee. The total was over $80. We don't mind the price but the quantity of food we received doesn't make up for it. We had sooo much left over rice that I was able to meal prep my meals for the whole week. Each plate has about 2 cups of rice! The amount of zucchini, chicken, steak and shrimp was ridiculously small. We literally payed over $80 for rice. This food truck was so hyped up, so my partner and I decided to try it. It was honestly a 3/5. The price you pay for the amount of food you get is honestly disappointing. The plates are stacked up with rice (atleast it good rice) and had a little bit of meat and like 5 pieces of veggie. I got the chicken bowl: the chicken itself was very dry but added some sauces and it added some good flavor to it. My partner go the steak Bowl with shrimp: the shrimp was very salty and the steak was so chewy and there was so much pieces of fat in it... which was honestly disappointing. If you want to try it, by all means go ahead and try the specials they have until 4pm to save a couple or bucks. read more

Always drive by the truck and finally decided to try it. Arrived about 15 minutes after they opened and was greeted by one of the workers who took our order; he was super friendly made us laugh. He was very patient and helpful with our large order since it was our first time here. The other workers who were cooking gave us an estimated wait time which was very nice. First and last time coming here. I only ordered chicken fried rice and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. After 30 plus minutes of waiting I finally got my order with a side of attitude. Apparently the cook was either in the bathroom or on break. The cashier should have stated that it would be longer than 10 minutes if his cook was not there. But the food was not even worth it. Ordered 2 steak bowls on DoorDash late at night. Felt like my food came out super half assed. There is no option to customize how the steak is cooked and I prefer mine more rare...the steak literally came black and burnt on a lot of the sides. It was tough and chewy and the steak portions were stingy it barely covered half of the bowl. I normally put a ton of garlic butter on my hibachi rice but theirs is super salty...not happy will not order here again read more

I see the cooks going back and forth as if they're making a bunch of orders at one time. Okay, so where is my order? Do they not know how to prioritize orders? I am literally standing in front of them, in pouring rain, pissed the hell off. Annoyed is an understatement for how I felt. Finally, 6:52, my order is ready. I take my order home, and once I get home, hungry and ready to eat, guess what? I take one bite of the rice, and it's stale. As if the rice was reheated from the microwave. I've never had this issue until today. Did they see my annoyed face and think they had to rush my order even faster so I don't complain? Well guys, as a restaurant owner myself, this is not how you should do business. Learn to prioritize your orders, especially when there are customers waiting in front of you. 20 minutes turning into 40 minutes is absolutely ridiculous. Also, this is just a side note. DIABLO means SPICY, very very very very very spicy. Your diablo sauce literally tastes like sriracha, hummus, and mayo. Isn't spicy at all. I, as of today will no longer be supporting this business. I am now sitting at home, cooking myself my own steam rice, and pairing with the steak and shrimp I got from Mi Hibachi. Oh, and I also need to use Truff hot sauce cause this sauce ain't cutting it.

I ordered one of their best sellers, the **Debby's**, loaded with tomato sauce, fresh basil, mozzarella, sausage, and mushrooms. Then came the first bite. You know those moments when your brain quietly whispers, *"Yep... this is the one."* That happened. The crust was everything I want in a wood-fired pizza. Crisp on the outside, soft and chewy in the middle, with just enough stretch to make every slice fight back before letting go. That's the kind of resistance I'm happy to deal with. The tomato sauce tasted bright and fresh, with that lively acidity that says, "I met a tomato recently," instead of, "I've been living in a can since 2001." The mozzarella melted into every bite without stealing the spotlight. The mushrooms were juicy, the sausage had just the right amount of seasoning, and the basil tied everything together like the final note in a great song. What surprised me most wasn't that the pizza was good. It was *where* I found it. I never expected to discover pizza that reminded me of a great New York pizzeria right here in Hacienda Heights. I recently visited Bachi Yaki and decided to treat myself to the filet mignon steak, which cost $29 with fried rice. I was quite disappointed to find that the prices have gone up significantly. Unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't match the new price tag. The steak was just okay, nothing extraordinary, and certainly not worth the extra cost. I'm a fan of supporting local food trucks, but I won't be returning unless they lower their prices. There are plenty of other options out there that offer better value for the money. read more
