There's an unwritten rule that braces only break when you're at least 5,000 miles from your own orthodontist. My 17-year-old niece is visiting us from overseas for the summer and managed to snap several brackets and dislodge a wire, with a full month still to go before her flight home. I called Cuenin Orthodontics half expecting to be told there was nothing they could do. Instead they brought her in the same day. Dr. Kyle and his staff fixed the wire that was digging into her cheek and made sure everything would hold and her treatment would remain on-track until she's back with her own orthodontist. Then they refused to let me pay a cent. My niece has spent this whole trip telling us how kind Americans are. She called her mom afterward to gush about it. Her mom was stunned that a practice would do that for a stranger passing through. That's the impression Dr. Kyle and the entire team at Cuenin Orthodontics left on a visiting teenager, and on her family halfway around the world. Thank you doesn't quite cover it. If you're looking for an orthodontist, look no further than Cuenin Orthodontics. read more

My teenager had a very positive experience here. Excellent care, appointments were easily made (he did not have to miss school for them), staff and orthodontists were friendly and office was easily accessible and always super clean. In the past decade, our family has gone to three different orthodontist offices and Cuenin was the best and favorite. Highly recommend!!! read more

We were referred to Dr. Cuenin from our regular dentist for our son's braces. They're in a building with other medical establishments. So, there are plenty of parking and right next to the 680 freeway. His son joined in the business about a year ago. They're both super easy going and knowledgeable. Never recommending any services that is not necessary. Our appointments are very efficient and done in a timely manner. The staffs are nice and helpful. The office is clean and usually plenty of seats. They have water, Keurig machine and reading materials while you wait but they are usually on time with their appointments. They have payments plan and always try their best to help their patients either with dental care or financially. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

Dr. Cuenin took care of our son for his braces. The office runs efficiently and they do a great job of the technical component. Most importantly, the practice is honest and fair. Dr. Cuenin does not push two-phase orthodontia and you can be comfortable the treatment recommended is not excessive or pushy. I am happy to recommend this office. read more

Our family has been visiting Dr Cuenin's office for over 20 years now as he worked with all of our kids. Each child had a difficult orthodontic situation starting out but all ended up with beautiful smiles thanks to their expertise. We would choose this orthodontist all over again as it is hands down the best in the area. Thank you Dr. Cuenin and Dr Kyle for a job well done! read more

I got Invisalign braces at age 50 from Cuenin, and went back for a quick refresh after not being faithful to my retainer. Nice to see his son join the business. They are time accommodating for clients and oh so friendly. It's a well skilled happy practice, go there. read more

Both of my daughters went to Dr. Cuenin and he and his staff are courteous, thorough, knowledgable, and professional. The few times we needed to get in quickly due to a loose wire or bracket we got in right away. My oldest had a more challenging case that he remedied very well, and has been thorough in his explanations of their progress and very helpful in guiding us on their future needs with an Oral Surgeon (for wisdom teeth) and a Prosthodontist (for an implant). We are very happy with our experience. read more

100% LOVE this office and Dr. Cuenin is aggressive and conservative all at the same time. Very sweet staff as well.

Two of our children saw Dr. Cuenin for their braces. Their smiles are absolutely incredible. They are so handsome and beautiful. Looking at before and after pictures, we didn't realize how unaligned their teeth truly were. We now have our third child seeing him. We also now understand the importance of having one's teeth properly aligned. Our first two children had small to medium speech issues. They no longer have any traces of these speech impediments. Can't wait to see the final results for our other son. Thank you Dr. Cuenin. read more

Dr. Cuenin is an incredible orthodontist. I recently got my braces removed and my teeth are absolutely perfect. He was extremely thorough during my treatments and was accurate on his timing of completion. I would do it again if I had to with him.....he was easy to work with, kept the process moving and his staff are awesome. I never waited more than a minute in the waiting room and his staff are all so friendly and easy going. I am extremely happy with my end result and I have referred him several friends and family. I love my new smile thanks to Dr. Cuenin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

We went to see Dr Cuenin for a third opinion with a friend's recommendation. The consult was a wonderful experience from the beginning and his assessment for my son's difficult situation. We ended up going to someone local because of the distance however I would not hesitate to recommend him and his office. read more

Excellent! our dtr needed additional oral surgery that was very costly, he didn't treat me like a bum. Seemed genuinely concerned and was going to talk with a couple oral surgeons and get back to me. Thanks for making me feel like a normal working mom. read more

Dr Cuenin treated all three of my kids. Their teeth are spectacular! He is meticulous with his work and treated all my children individually to their specific needs. He made it a point to speak with me during the process so I didn't have to rely on my teenager to tell me what the doctor said. He is on time - He keeps a tight schedule which was nice given our kids busy activities. His staff was great about billing my dental insurance for the max reimbursement for braces. They took care of everything. Highest recommendation for Dr Cuenin. read more

My story is way too long to even begin to describe in a yelp review, but long story short is Dr. Cuenin stepped in and helped with my difficult case when lots of other orthodontists were turning me away. I had previously had braces and double jaw surgery before coming to Dr. Cuenin. To put it nicely... it didn't go so well. I showed up to his office in worse shape than what I ever started with, and I was a very difficult case due to the issues I had stemming from my first round of treatment. He stepped up to the plate and not only fixed me, but thanks to the collaborative work between he and my other doctors, he's helped get me results that just possibly couldn't get any better given the mess I presented with originally. I went through an entire revision of the ortho and double jaw surgery with Dr. Cuenin. He poured in a ton of time and effort in to my case, and my results show for it. Everything he does is with well thought out reasoning, and he's great at explaining everything through treatment. I'm proof that he can really tackle anything, including the tougher cases. Nothing I do would ever be enough to thank Dr. Cuenin and his staff, so the least I can do is make sure I let people know about the amazing experience I had with my revision treatment here. Our daughters' braces were taken off within the last month, their smiles are gorgeous! I'm sad because now our interactions with Dr. Cuenin and staff will be shortened to 10 min follow-up appts! The kindness, support and care he and his staff provided my daughters and family was greatly appreciated. One daughter had to have some surgical work done and Dr. Cuenin was a critical part of the successful outcome of that work. He is a great team player; the surgeon, dentist and Dr. Cuenin worked well together to assure my daughter's outcome was as hoped. He was supportive and answered all our questions and offered encouragement and moral support when needed to both my daughter and me. His monthly payment program makes it easy to manage the expense of braces and I enjoyed having them paid off before the girls were out of their braces! read more

Been a bit frustrated taking my kids to this office. If you have high school kids its extremely difficult to get an after school appointment. With the high expense of braces,.. would love to see more availability after school so the HS kids do not need to miss important classes. read more

Dr. Cuenin is great! I was so happy with how my teeth turned out. When I went to the dentist after getting my braces removed, she was completely impressed and called in the assistants to see how nice they turned out! That's when you know your ortho did a great job. read more

My daughter's teeth turned out beautiful. They gave helpful tips on making sure the teeth did not stain under the braces, that sort of thing. Always cheerful the medical staff and Dr. Cuenin. Excellent advice on how to keep the teeth nice after braces. When she broke something a couple of times, they got her in quickly to repair. Also, we were in very uncomfortable financial circumstances, and the payment plan was so very helpful, to say the least, to us, and enabled us to get her the braces. We are grateful. read more
