Doesn't have the entire gamet of hormones either. She will tell you pellets are not as good as her gel. She will put you on what she uses only. The problem with me was I listened to her and she completely changed what did work for me and I trusted her judgment. My mistake but she is convincing. I ended up a complete mess. For several months. I was given the wrong doses, the wrong testosterone and the wrong doses of thyroid. Please I implore you to do your research! If you need a dietary needs, great see her. But if you're going in to do your hormones, they only have what they use. Not pellets! Also, yes it's cash based. They also take many seasonal vacations. So if your a mess like I was, good luck. The entire staff leaves 10 days 4x a year, no back back up staff or on call. You are screwed. I'm still recovering from this place. Do your research. I called and I asked if she could transfer me to scheduling for a primary appointment (little did I know I had the wrong number) The lady on the phone said, "ummmm this is the women's clinic, I don't know what you want me to do? I can't transfer you?" And I said oh I might have the wrong number. She replied, "yeah, umm I can't do that." So I asked do you know what number to contact Skagit regional scheduling? She said "you could call them?" Her tone was so rude and demeaning. Thanks lady for being so rude. Also, I made a mistake. I didn't know they where two separate facilities. They have like the same name.?? How am I supposed to know. Have some class and be professional.

I was told no for the hysterectomy because he didn't think it was necessary... I said I'd settle for Tuba-ligation, and was immediately shot down and told I'd have to do another consultation. The nurse kept asking me "what if you change your mind about wanting children" and continued to tell me women my age (27) change their minds in their 30's, as if I don't know what I want with my body and my life. Having to deal with health care in another state, (Arizona) makes me even more appreciative of the quality doctors we have access to here. From our first phone call, to the moments leading up to birth, to the long but beautiful birth experience, to the intricate parts of postpartum and beyond, DeAngela was and still is a beacon of light that I lean on for support and encouragement. Whenever I had moments of giving up or becoming overwhelmed, DeAngela and Kirsten were right there to speak life into me and let me know that I'm not in this alone, made sure I had a plan and pulled from resources I didn't realize I already had. It can be hard sometimes to ask for help but these ladies reassured me that it's okay to ask for help. He went out of his way to speed up my surgery date back in 2005 before an important family event. His schedule was very tight and fully booked, so he decided to come in for an extremely early operation to make the scheduling work. I am indebted to him for the successful surgery and very kind accommodation given the tight schedule. I feel deeply appreciative of his kindness and personal sacrifice for such an early surgery, for his sincere concern for his patients and for doing everything he can to make things work for them. We need more doctors like him. I feel very blessed to have had him as my OBGYN when I was having the medical issue. Since I live in another town and am in relatively good health, I no longer go to him for my annual visits, but I will definitely go back to him should I have any major health issues that require an OBGYN. He is the best! May he continue to be blessed with good health, happiness and success.
