DeAngela came through and reassured me she will be there every step of the way and she did just that. From our first phone call, to the moments leading up to birth, to the long but beautiful birth experience, to the intricate parts of postpartum and beyond, DeAngela was and still is a beacon of light that I lean on for support and encouragement. Whenever I had moments of giving up or becoming overwhelmed, DeAngela and Kirsten were right there to speak life into me and let me know that I'm not in this alone, made sure I had a plan and pulled from resources I didn't realize I already had. It can be hard sometimes to ask for help but these ladies reassured me that it's okay to ask for help. As the saying goes, "It takes a village..." well I consider DeAngela and Kirsten part of my village now and truly grateful God allowed us to cross paths. The work you ladies are doing; the time and energy you pour into your clients are unmatched. You all helped to make a difficult season in my life, one that I am so blessed to experience. The 2 stars are only because Liz the PA treated me really well. That's where this ends. While Liz…read morethe PA there is great, if you're shopping for your own medical care be ready to feel like you're buying a used car. I recently worked with Liz and she was fabulous, but my experience trying to become a member was no different than buying a used car. I was due in September for a quick blood work phone call to check how my medications were working. I was paying out of pocket, and my appointment for this 15-20 minute call in May was $50. I spoke with Alyssa and she explained if I became a member in September, the appointment would be included. A membership is $65. I hung up, prepared to pay and sign up in September like we discussed. They sent me paperwork to sign up for August, not what we had discussed. I let them know I wanted to start in September because I wouldn't be using their services, and that's when the cold unfriendly emails began. Like wtf. First, they said that since my last appointment was in May, no I couldn't sign up until I had another full patient appointment. (News to me) Then, they told me that their prices just went up so no, it isn't just $50 to go over blood work. The tone of the email was unfriendly and borderline rude and it was clear they wanted me to sign up and pay $65 for a month I wasn't even using their services and I'm not okay with that. It sounded like they were making things up to make it very inconvenient for me to wait. This is not a place I would recommend doing business with. I'm seriously disappointed because I liked Liz there, but the way this was handled was not okay. Be prepared to be haggled over memberships if you bring it up. Just no.

One of her first statements was ' We don't play around here' and mentioned surgery which is fully outside her standard of care. I took my name off all further appointments with her, and then her supervisor, Natalie, who I was supposed to see came out one day and took someone else back and I got put in with this gal, Sarah, who I well knew was not a good idea to work with. I was treated very forcefully, and overworked completely. She then made me do some exercises I should never have been doing which further injured me. My whole arm and shoulder immediately got swollen and very painful, and it had been doing relatively fine before. I went to my orthopedic surgeon and he ordered an MRI and said, yes it had been severely injured, and that I am now behind one year in healing. This has totally impeded any further progress being made at this time and changed my whole life. In my opinion, this practitioner should not be treating people, as it is very unsafe and reckless treatment behavior.
