Everyone is comfortable with something different - and that's ok!! :) You might feel more comfortable about finding an individual (maybe on care.com or just an independent sitter) rather than a company like us. Because there's no way I can control who stays and who leaves. The walker's name was Melanie - I complained about her, to Robyn saying I wasn't happy with care, that different walkers came without my knowledge, and that on days when I was home Melanie wasn't walking Murray at the set time. I also noticed that Murray started urinating in the house under Melanies care. Robyn responded the that Melanie was the only walker she had for my neighborhood. I should have dumped her on that day. On a rainy day a few weeks later, I got a frantic call at work from Robyn saying there had been an accident and that I should get home quickly. She said she was on her way to my home. Long story short - my dog was hit by a car. My neighbors ran over to help my dog, but Melanie did nothing. She didn't call the police, she didn't administer CPR or first aid, she didn't put my dog in her car and get him the the vet - she just called Robyn. My neighbor took Murray to the vet in his truck. Before 11/16/11 Home Pet Services took care of 4 dogs in my building. On 11/17/11 they took care of zero. Oh, Robyn did pay for Murray"s cremation.

So, what do you do when you have trust issues and don't want your furry friend left alone in a cage overnight with just a camera for monitoring? You choose K9 Stay & Play! It felt like she was at home--she was on vacation too! I can't say enough good things about Sal and his family. Roxy, who turns 11 in June, is a double doodle (half golden doodle, half labradoodle) and an absolute sweetheart. She got along well with the other two dogs, and I received reassuring texts and pictures to let me know she was doing fine. Plus, she came home smelling great--not that typical "I've been around 100 dogs" odor. K9 Stay & Play is exceptionally clean; every area is meticulously maintained, both inside and outside. At checkout, Roxy was all packed and ready to go! Everything I left with her was cleaned and organized. Just WOW! Sal and his family made my picky pup feel right at home. Now, she has a vacation spot too! Thank you, Sal and family, for giving me peace of mind so I could truly enjoy my vacation.

Exceptional Dog Care Service Near Crocheron Park!…read more I can't express how happy I am to have found Doggy Do-Gooders! I've always been extremely hands-on with my dog, Kuma, a 13-year-old Pomeranian Poodle who's energetic yet reserved and a bit high-maintenance (white fur challenges, anyone?). For years, I found it difficult to trust anyone else to handle his care, but Doggy Do-Gooders completely changed my perspective. I discovered them through a friend's recommendation, and I was surprised to learn how conveniently located they are near Crocheron Park in Bayside. Their team--particularly Jason and Alix--has been fantastic. They come directly to us, which makes everything so seamless, and their care and attention to Kuma make them feel like part of the family. The service is incredibly personable. Jason has an almost intuitive understanding of Kuma's needs, from walking to overall handling, which gives me such peace of mind. They've even managed to work with Kuma's quirky reserved nature while ensuring he gets the exercise and engagement he needs. What I love most is their reliability and professionalism. They're always punctual, communicate well, and even send updates during walks (sometimes with adorable photos of Kuma!). These small touches make a huge difference, especially for someone like me who's always been cautious about delegating my dog's care. Doggy Do-Gooders is a true diamond in the rough. I wasn't able to find them on Google, but that makes them feel even more like a hidden gem. If you're in the Bayside area and looking for trustworthy, caring, and professional dog walkers, I can't recommend them enough. Kuma and I are so grateful for their service--it's been life-changing! If you want peace of mind and top-notch care for your pup, don't hesitate to reach out to them. They've completely exceeded my expectations!

We contacted them 3 months ago, and they confirmed they can provide the services. I have a friendly confirmation via email from the owner's wife. I called to confirm our in-home appt now 2 weeks before we leave. They were supposed to meet the cats at our home and take the house key. The owner is driving to my house the morning of our appointment, he gets lost and ends up in Hillside in Queens somewhere near the LIE. He calls me 5 mins before the appt to advise me he was confused and doesn't service my area. AFTER THREE MONTHS now you check the address and you go back on your promise and confirmation. Nice, What kind of business is this? Now my cats are left with no care thanks to them. Maybe they're getting old and heartless but you don't do that to people. We leave on vacation with the family and friends and now we have no one to care for our cats. I will make sure to let everyone know that is referring your company how horrible you are. The customer is always right. You should have provided the service anyway.
