Due to some circumstances in our life right now, we have been getting takeout more frequently than normal, and thought we'd give Pizza Plaza a try. Not only is the food really good, but the people who work there are so nice, and have made special orders for us gladly. My wife and I ordered from here every week. ...when it was good. Then the slowly became very inconsistent with making the food and delivery times. In short, this time was the straw that broke the camel's hump. We ordered food and it was delivered 1 hour 20min later. The food was cold. My wife food was missing part of the order and was made incorrectly. My food was fine...until I found a couple of pieces of metal shards in my meal. I should have taken a picture of it, but I figured no one is going to do anything about it and it's my word against theirs. Whatever. I don't recommend this place anymore. Some of the best Italian food in the area. The Vodka Sauce is amazing, the meatballs are fabulous, regular tomato sauce is excellent. Large portions, wonderful Chef - he is the new Manager and has years of Chef experience from other restaurants. This little diner, next to a Planet Fitness, is the best kept secret in town. We saw a coupon from "restaurant.com" for the Pizza Plaza. We never ate there, so we purchased the coupon and went to visit. We gave our coupon at the end and was told they don't accept them. Told us that it is a scam. The only scam is them, they wouldn't be available unless they signed some kind of contract. Maybe they had a change of heart, but irregardless they should honor the ones that were purchased. Very poor management. Because of their decision, we will not go back. read more

Placed order for delivery Sunday at 11:45 and I called at 12:50 asking when it'll arrive and it finally arrived 1:20. I called and complained about cold pizza and deliver man doesn't start until 1 and I was never advised when placing order. Called and complained and horrible customer service after years of my business. Lady wouldn't give me her name and wouldn't let me talk to the owner. Cold pizza and was advised they can come pick it up, we won't refund your money or you can come get another one.Highly disappointed! read more

The food is good. But the delivery service is absolutely horrible. We have had people over 2 days in a row so of course we have fed them. Both times we ordered from pizza plaza, both times have been over 30 minutes late. All the food has been cold and not so good. If they were to get the delivery under control it would be a solid 4 or 5 stars. read more

Don't let the strip mall location or the generic name fool you. This place has AMAZING food. We're transplants from the city and our biggest gripe was the lack of delicious food. We found this place completely by accident one day while we were buying yet another kid yet another phone at the T- mobile store next door. A couple of quick slices to shut the kids up turned into a delicious pie for dinner. Next test was the cheese steak. Perfect. Meat was perfectly cooked with minimal seasonings. The Cheese was melted perfectly with the fried onions and the whole thing sat on a delicious meaty roll. No excessive greasiness or dehydration inducing dryness here. The steak was perfect. No seriously, perfect. The garlic knots are always fresh and delicious and the fries are the crispy quality fries you get at nicer places as opposed to those skinny wimpy fries. We're a "foodie" family from philly and this is our new spot. read more

I really hate leaving bad reviews but I have to be honest. I consider myself a pizza connoisseur. If I could, I'd eat pizza for every meal, everyday but then I wouldn't be able to fit through a regular door. That being said, I like trying out local pizzerias. It's pretty hard to get a plain pizza wrong. I ordered half sausage, half plain. I gotta admit, the first bite made my belly sad. It was just flavorless. And the sausage had no tastes at all. And it got progressively worse as it lost its heat. My kid ate their slices but then again my kid has eaten dirt. The final nail in this pizza's coffin is the fact that my husband who hasn't had a slice of cold pizza he didn't like wouldn't eat the rest of the leftovers. I really wish I could have liked this place more because the people working there were friendly enough but the pizza is a thumbs down. Perhaps their other food is good but I'm not inclined to try it again since it is a pizzeria. And a pizzeria should at least get the pizza right. read more

Too bad I can't give them a zero. I understand they are under new ownership and it shows. My wife ordered a panini that did not have all the ingredients on it that are listed on the menu. It was not put in a press or grilled in any way like a panini is supposed to be. I ordered a cheesestake that had about half the meat that they used to have. The meat was overcooked and dry (probably would have been fine if they used the right amount) and was tough. I will never go back and recommend that no one else goes there.
