We went here for lunch. I understand that there are a few other tourism activities associated with this place but I don't know anything about them. I am only commenting on our lunch, which was fantastic. This is a beautiful agritourism place in Vorno, outside of Lucca. They are only open on the weekend and you must make a reservation. Go for lunch when the weather is nice; sit outside and enjoy the amazing views, under the huge, brightly colored umbrellas, above the vineyards and below the hills. The food was wonderful, and not really all that expensive considering what a wonderful place it is. We decided to splurge, so we ordered a fancy appetizer, two pasta plates and second course along with drinks. Our bill came to about 55 euros - we could have eaten for far less had we wanted to. .
Normally the only way to get here is by car. It's not too far to ride a bike to, but the roads are narrow and the cars drive very fast, so a bike isn't appealing. We solved that by riding our bikes on the path beside the aquaduct (Acquedotto Nottoloni) all the way to the end, and then made our way to Vorno mostly on back roads. We walked our bikes a bit on the main road to avoid riding in traffic. It worked fine. So if you go in the daytime, don't let not having a car keep you from making it to this really beautiful place.
