I had worried over how multiple dietary restrictions would be received in a city not as touristy and large as Florence, but the owner (I assume) did not make me feel like I was asking for too much, not at all. He boasted that they offered the best gf pasta and that they would make me something that I could both feel safe with and enjoy. And I did, on both counts. This is a beautiful place tucked back in a corner of the old town inside the walls. The outside area was cool and shaded for a lunch meal, and quiet and peaceful in the evening. The staff is helpful; we left wine choice to them and were not disappointed! The millefoglie melanzana raises eggplant to a whole new level. My adult daughter at home picks the mushrooms out of everything; here she devoured the tagliatelle con funghi with relish. It's rare for me to leave five star reviews, but All'Olivo earns it!
