And it's a pity that it was because it had all the elements to be very tasty and the starter and service were impecable. The amazing starter: combination of fried cheese with almonds, honey and paprika with great presentation. One for the recipe book. The friendly service: person I was with did not order a starter - they turned up with a lovely bruschetta on the house: "for while you wait". Nice touch. They gave us these little pizza bites. That were also actually amazing. The sauce on the pizza bites were fantastic. I think the biggest thing was that I thought I had made a reservation for 8 o'clock. But apparently it was for the next night!! And they squeezed us in anyway! Then I forgot to take pictures as I always do because I'm too busy sticking my face in my food. So I only have pictures of the bread and the pizza bites lol. We got a very interesting dessert that was made in a meringue shell with tart cherries and chocolate and cream, and it was truly a delight. It was very small, but it was all you needed.
