He boasted that they offered the best gf pasta and that they would make me something that I could both feel safe with and enjoy. And I did, on both counts. However, even better was a delicious and seemingly unconventional pasta with cheese and mint (ever so slight mint taste) and mild yellow tomato sauce - a winning combination. If it is not a permanent menu item, it should be! The bruschetta gets a top grade as well. Brava! We can't forget to complement our serving staff who were so friendly as we tried to practice our Italian. Fortunately they also spoke English and made sure everything was going well at our table. Ribolitta, 7 e - i have no comments re: this dish, but my husband kept claiming "wow, this is actually really good, i'm so glad I ordered it!" Tortellini Lucchesi al Ragu, 8 e - meat sauce with your tortellini, can't go wrong with that right? Pizza all'arrabiata with mozzarella, 5 e - you can't go wrong w/ the basic tomato based pizza! We tolerate her we requested it be brought out with the main disk. She refused to take it back and said the kitchen got mixed up with the bar. By the third we received our meal, the cold beer was hot. My wife had ravioli which was very good! I had a pizza with ham, which was mediocre at best. Could have used much more sauce, in fact the ravioli sauce would have made it 100% better. I definitely wouldn't choose this restaurant again!! The one straight across the street with red and white tablecloth was much better last night and cost less.
