Coming from the Mecca of Persian Cusine, I judge hard on the establishments ability to make the most basic dish: koobieh kabab. If you cant make that, you deserve a 1. Its like making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Basic. We all started with family style appetizers that came with Kashkeh Bademjoon, salad shirazi, mausto-moosir, olives and some other staple items. That was good, and earned a star. My food was horrible. The consensus of my family with the exception of my sister who ordered chicken kabab was like mine. The kabab was mixed meat of some sort, lamb, beef some surprise secret that was horrible and gross. Never in my life, and I have had some interesting experiences and traveled alot , have I ever had kabab koobideh like this. One bite, we were all done. The dough was equally bad. Holy crap. The look on all our faces and the fact our entire table was dead silent spoke volumes. If you know Persians you know we are loud. If an entire table is silent while they are eating, somethings up, big-time. My friend ended up crashing our family dinner and when he saw my face , he knew something was up. Later , i found out this place has a reputation of crap food, crap service and over charging. Soo many options, and we chose the worst. I do not recommend this resturant. We grabbed our untouched food put it in "to go" boxes and decided instead of it going to waste gave it away to others who may have gone hungry that night. Lesson learned. My sis said, any where in the world , chicken is chicken. They cant cheat you with chicken. But when you trust them with koobieh and they switch it to some weird mix meat , thats on you. Next time, im ordering chicken. One star for her chicken. The rest, no way.

The staff were very courteous and attentive. I have been to a lot of Persian restaurants around the world, and this one sits at the top of them. Highly recommended if you are looking for Persian cuisine in Düsseldorf! You will not be disappointed!
