He is located continently near Costco and he has the greatest variety of units and sizes. I was so happy to be able to use their moving truck for free because U-Haul wanted an arm and a leg to move from Reno to Carson. I liked the automatic payment option; I didn't have to worry about making my payments. When my card was stolen April called me and we updated my card before I could get a late fee. The past facilities I stored with just charged you the late fee without notification! I'm still here and the prices haven't gone up, they even gave me a discount after I moved in for having auto charge payments. I'd highly recommend storing with Carson City Self Storage; they are professional and have great prices for their units, especially with a friendly onsite resident manager.

Finally got ahold of him to come and get eveything situated....then I was charged for the wrong sized unit. Let it all go cause figured the guy was having an off day. The dude showed me to my unit and there was some random dresser in it. Finally started hauling stuff over and the first trip, the service elevator was down (I'm on the second level) and noone was in the office to literally do a quick fix so had to haul everything up the stairs one by one. Second trip, elevator was working so put a load of things in it, and guess what, elevator stopped working with my stuff in it. And do you think there was someone in the office to contact for help...of course not! Never even got a return call from my voicemail asking for help! Third trip, my code worked on the gate but not on the door. And guess what, office was completely empty with noone around for assistance! Last load of hauling stuff over and code still isnt working. Now it's time to make a payment and if you thought I could get ahold of someone, on phone or in person, to make a payment because I cant get an online payment through...well you'd be mistaken. The place never has anyone around for issues...and the issues are constant at that place!

After paying for the unit and signing the paperwork, we were told that the units have contacts on the doors which tell management after the fact if/when the doors have been opened, but are not connected to any kind of actual alarm system. When calling the owner on this, he said "I guess your definition of an alarm is different from mine." We prepaid for four months and used the unit for one day. We offered for him to keep the $12 "administrative fee" and the entire firsts months rent. We only wanted back our security deposit and the extra three months we prepaid. They refused to refund any money whatsoever despite the false advertising. Very dishonest, I will never go there again, and I will tell everyone I know never to rent there.

Go to sign paperwork and Troy now says the unit has "damage" and cannot be rented. I was shown the unit over the weekend by a nice young lady and there was absolutely no "damage". Troy would not make it right and now I am stuck with no storage for my belongings. Worst experience ever with a storage facility.

This is the second time within 12 months that they have claimed not to receive my payment, resulting in an unwarranted late fee of $32.80 this time. My payment was sent as it always is, yet their accounting department seems unable to properly track and apply incoming checks. Being charged a fine due to their internal record-keeping failures is unacceptable -- especially when it happens repeatedly. A business that handles recurring payments should have reliable processes in place to ensure customers are not penalized for the company's own administrative shortcomings. I would caution anyone considering this facility to be very careful about how you submit payments and to keep meticulous records. Until they address their accounting practices, I cannot recommend them with confidence.

NOT TRUTHFUL WITH ME - BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE…read more Unfortunately, I had rated them five stars...until I left after several months. I had been out of the country and, after a long drive home, got home from the airport at 2:00 in the morning. I called Anchor's Office Manager and said, "I know today is the last day of the month, but can you pro-rate me one day so I can come in this weekend?" He said they don't pro-rate charges, but for just one day, they wouldn't charge me if I vacated first thing in the morning. I DID...AND A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER I LEFT, THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR A FULL MONTH ANYWAY. Had I known they were going to be untruthful, I would have left the car there for the month! Instead, I paid a full month's rent for a vacant spot that they rented out. I asked the Office Manager to email his supervisor's contact information to me, which he agreed to, but never did. THIS LEFT A VERY BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH. This was a very bad customer experience.

Our poor Post Office just isn't geared for the Amazon age, and so when my hubs and I decided to be apart of the overall solution, we chose Pak Mail to be our partner for personal packages and business mail delivery! We are beyond happy with the support we get - whether its Arturo or Megan answering the phone when I call, or Heather finding the most bizarrely irregular sized box to ship a package in, we're SO lucky to have their help! I absolutely LOVE that they are so attentive to COVID precautions - and I've never had a problem getting a package or mail because of limited hours. Their LUXER boxes make it so easy to pick up after hours! Plus, I love that as one of their box holders, I get to come in during specific "customer-only hours." THAT is REAL customer service you sure don't get down in the Big City! It always cracks me up when I'm chatting up someone in line in front of me and Heather says, "Is that Marla?" THAT is small town living folks - you get to know someone well enough that even with a mask on, they recognize who you are :). As for James (the owner) ... well, there just isn't a nicer guy in this town. And he does the right thing, always. Moods come and go, packages arrive and get shipped, life goes on. Really shows how professional they are and are more petty than ever. --‐‐---------- The staff here, particularly an older gentleman with a mustache and the younger gentleman, were rude and spoke in a disrespectful manner. They were unclear and vague when explaining their procedures when having your items shipped to their business. When I inquired about a missing package, the same gentleman became argumentative, only for it to turn out that they had already sent the package back. I was a younger women alone getting yelled at by two grown men, being talked down to the whole time - absolutely not okay! There was a lot of "well this is how we do things here", condensing tone (funny bc no one ever told me this when I first spoke to them all). Overall, there was a huge lack of empathy or understanding from this place, which is quite disappointing. They don't care about having good customer service or try to be respectful, very bulldog-ish. Spend your money with someone else that will treat you better and deserves it
