The customer service was top notch. Trent was very easy going and straightforward which made my friend and I feel very comfortable here. My friend is moving, so we were shopping around for storage units for him. We told Trent that we were going to scope out another storage space with a different place (Extra Space), and he was honest with us when he said that if he couldn't choose Cubes, he'd choose Extra Space. I personally thought it was very respectable of him to not dismiss the competition, and that it was a fantastic show of integrity. Despite Extra Space being cheaper, my friend and I decided that the advantages of Cubes couldn't be overlooked from the covered loading area to the wide lanes. However, the most important difference was by far the customer service. I can't emphasize enough how chill and easy it was to have Trent helping us. This facility goes above and beyond. I moved out of Utah, and oddly enough, my storage facility is what I miss the most. It was super clean, secure, and temperature controlled. Rick, the manager, bent over backwards for me on multiple occasions. One time, someone had broken into my car (in SLC, not at Cubes), and he was outside taping up my window for me! It just shows how sweet the staff is and how much they care about their customers. They have fun music playing on all the floors, lots of space to park, and a large dumpster outside. If you give them a key to your unit, they will put all your packages in your unit for you!! Everyone who works here is super sweet and professional. USE THIS CUBES!!! read more

Cubes has been a fantastic storage unit facility! I should know because I get shipments sent there regularly and they are kind enough to sign for them and put them in my storage unit for me! The other great thing is the area where you can park your car to load or unload is covered! So even if there is bad weather it won't effect you! The only thing I would like to improve is if they would offer a recycle bin. All of my shipments came in cardboard boxes that were tough for me to get rid of, so if there was an on-site recycle bin that would've been so helpful! read more

Cube is THE best storage facility I've ever found and used (not that I've use many but...lol), and I'm so glad I found this place! This facility is secure. First, you need a code to get into the parking/unloading area, then you need to enter a code in the elevator to get to the floor your unit it on. After that, you need a key to get into your unit. The storage itself is clean and is temperature controlled. It's also monitored. There's staff onsite 8am-6pm Monday through Saturdays (not sure about Sunday's). If you need to have something delivered, they will sign for you and put it in your unit. I borrowed the 4.5' x 5' unit on two different occasions. It was month-to-month and cost $55-70 per month. I didn't have a mattress or big furniture (other than a table and chairs, and bookshelves) but it was enough to fit all my stuff for two rooms and kitchen appliances. The storage unit is also pretty tall height-wise so you can stack up a lot of stuff vertically. Overall, would recommend this facility! read more

This being my first time using a self storage facility I was very hesitent leaving my belongings in a random garage.. That being said this space was very clean, organized, safe and secure. Mike was the most Help and walked me through the process of unloading, using elevators and equipment and lightening the mood, as moving is usually stressful! Its month-to-month with several options of payment plans, VERY clean, well lit, ideal hours for loading/unloading, and security cameras all of which put me at ease! I would/ will recommend these units to all who ask. read more

I just moved in here, twice. LOL. I decided a 10 x 20 wasn't big enough for me so I changed to a 10 x 25. I've rented a smaller unit at Cubes in Cottonwood, so I kind of knew what to expect. Typical great customer service and everything. The best thing about this Millcreek unit is the loading/unloading area. It's covered!. It's definitely a unique design. read more

This place is great! Excellent, mature, empathetic, effective, knowledgable customer service. Convenient location. Reasonably priced. Facility is warm, dry and safe. Easy access. Has moving and packing supplies. Great product. When the Cubes Storage unit was built in my neighborhood a few years ago, I thought it looked cool and modern, but who would use it? Indoor storage? Seems like an unnecessary luxury and expense. Turns out, I would use it and love it! I cannot say enough positive things about this place and the staff, especially Mike J, who has been a sanity-saver during a protracted relocation and overall challenging time in my life. From Day 1, I felt taken care of at Cubes. All the terms and expectations were clearly explained (thanks to Ashley). The storage units are clean and easy to get to. The elevators are spacious. There are plenty of flat-bed dollies available. As a single woman, I feel safe there, and my stuff is safe there. It's quiet (this may not seem like a big deal, but it is for me. I can think straight and focus on the task.) When most of my friends and family were ratcheting up the stress with their opinions, questions and demands (Where are you going? What will you do? Do you have a job? OMG!), Mike was there to help and make the process of temporarily storing my belongings easy and convenient. He turned out to be a much-needed calming influence as well. He was empathetic, offered a balanced and pragmatic perspective, was encouraging, and even reminded me a time or two of all the things I can look forward to in my new town -- things I was rapidly losing sight of. What a nice change to get a little reassurance. Thanks Mike! Ashley and Nate are also very good, but Mike is my favorite, mainly because of the many times he has patiently listened. He "gets" how stressful and emotional a move can be. He takes care of business and has listened to my assorted woes and challenges when I've stopped in the front office to buy tape, request a larger storage unit, etc. I felt listened to. That's huge. Sometimes customer surveys ask if there's anything they can improve, so this is the only reason I mention the following. If I had to improve something there, the only thing I could think of might be their boxes (the small ones). I bought several and the handles tore, but maybe that's due to the way I was using them. I filled them with fairly heavy items and I stuck my hand in the hole and pulled/dragged the box out of its corner instead of of lifting it straight up. I get the general impression that UHaul's box handle/holes are sturdier, but I haven't conducted any scientific tests to prove this hypothesis. Highly recommend this place. read more

Excellent service, reasonable pricing, secure, and convenient location. I've had a storage unit here twice now and I would highly recommend them. They are more expensive than most storage units, but they are indoor, heated/cooled, secure, and a free moving truck. To get in and out of the gate you have to enter your specific code and then in the elevators you have to enter the code again to disable the alarm and it will only let you access your floor. I've had this storage unit for the past year and I have still yet to setup the online payment, but they make it quick and convenient to stop into either this location or the cottonwood heights location to pay my bill. And their staff are always friendly and very helpful. Their customer service deserves five stars on its own and then another desperate five stars for the facility. I couldn't recommend cubes self storage enough, they are the best in the state! read more

So far so good! Cubes was the third storage unit I called today but the other two didn't pick up the phone. Mike answered at Cubes and quickly answered my questions and invited me in. He remembered my name and he and Alisha quickly got me into the unit, showed me around with a tour and explained how the security works. Though this facility isn't as close to my house as the other two facilities were, I think the friendly service I received is worth the extra drive.
