We were greeted with warm smiles and a calming scent. A display of pastries and coffee being made poetry/spoken word playing in the background. The owner asked if it was our first time we said yea and she gave us a personal tour. The cozy corner although not in a corner you have a beautiful comfortable sitting area where books of change are displayed near the entrance. There's a beautiful reading corner for children Art ~ jewelry and other items are displayed throughout by local artist. This space is so nice with equipment and lighting everything you need to record. There are wellness Wednesday and other community events posted as well. It was so nice to see a book store that features books for and about people of color owned by a Black Woman. If you are in the area stop by to support

It's so refreshing to find a place where dietary restrictions don't mean sacrificing flavor. One of my favorite things was how accommodating they were--I was able to substitute ingredients to create exactly the crepe I wanted, and it turned out incredible. Everything tasted fresh, the crepes were perfectly made, and the flavors were outstanding. The little salad that came on the plate had a dressing that was bussing! I almost went up and bought some more of the dressing its self. Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, or just looking for an amazing crepe, I highly recommend stopping by. I'll definitely be back to try even more of the menu!

We ordered s'mores hot chocolate, chai, and a matcha lavender drink. None of the drinks were hot, they were more room temperature. We ordered a lemon sugar crepe, strawberry and banana crepe, a s'mores waffle, and a mushroom crepe. Again, none of the items were hot. The lemon sugar crepe was thin and barely had filling. The s'mores waffle tasted stale. The other two were ok When we were waiting in line, they have an open kitchen you can see inside. It looked really dirty. Not a fan of this place

When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, and I will say our server was very nice and welcoming. One thing we immediately noticed, though, was that the menu prices were crossed out and changed. The waitress explained that prices have been fluctuating, but it did feel a little unpolished and confusing seeing gouged-out pricing on multiple items. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla, and my wife got the South of the Border omelet. We also had the roasted potatoes, which ended up being a very small portion. My main issue was that several items listed (or expected) didn't come as described. The quesadilla was supposed to come with sour cream and pico, but they weren't served on the side. We were told the pico was inside the quesadilla, which wasn't noted on the menu. Additionally, both dishes had raw, unsautéed onions mixed into the scrambled eggs. That wasn't listed in the description, and I personally don't like raw onions, so it definitely affected the meal for me. I think ingredients like that should be clearly stated. The cheese sauce tasted like standard heated nacho cheese and was very runny, not what we expected from a breakfast dish. The sour cream also tasted off. Overall, while the service was friendly, the food and menu presentation didn't meet expectations. Unfortunately, we probably won't be returning.

She was also very informative about the menu (maybe a little too informative, but in a good and helpful way ). We were able to choose our own seating, and everything moved smoothly from start to finish. The food was tasty. we ordered a build-your-own omelet, eggs-your-way with mini pancakes, and a kids' meal, all of which came out fresh and satisfying. The only reason I held back from giving 5 stars is that the coffee was a bit on the watery side. Otherwise, everything else was spot on. I'll definitely be back to try more options from the menu!
