    Swordfish and Brussels Sprouts
    Lanay G.

Parking: Was easy to find parking on the street nearby. Ambiance: The restaurant was small, quaint, and clean. There were a few tables as well as bar seating. Food: I ordered the swordfish and Brussels sprouts which was AMAZING. Much better than I anticipated. Service: All of the staff was very friendly, however our server was not wearing a mask. If it weren't for this, I would have given them a solid five stars. All other staff wore a mask, but it was u fortunate that our server didn't wear a mask when interacting with the customers.

We made a Yelp reservation while driving south on 95. Once we got there the restaurant was unable to seat us per the reservation. This just happens as I see it between Yelp and the restaurant. I did get a text notification on the reservation system so it does work well. Nonetheless the staff was great and we sat at the bar and had good conversation with Jack, ordered appetizers and were seated when available. This is a very small restaurant with only five tables. It is associated with the Mare Del Sol restaurant next door. They also share menus. The atmosphere was really nice and the wine and food was great. Meats were cooked well to order and the sides were well prepared. I would recommend this place highly. It's impossible to get lost on here from a waiter perspective given the size. Use Yelp reservation but give yourself some more advance time than we did. Best to call and confirm as well. The octopus appetizer was intriguing and well prepared as was the pimento cheese. I loved the pork chop. Very think and cooked excellently. Came out hot with the sides. Also had the filet and that was cooked very well also. A great place to come. Not good for kids. Go next door to their adjacent restaurant.

    16 oz Blackened CAB ribeye

I had the 16 oz blackened CAB ribeye with broccolini. Steak was cooked a perfect medium but... it was under seasoned... the broccolini (no complaints) was actually saltier than the steak. Quality was good but I could make a better USDA prime steak at home with the reverse sear method and my torch. For a $38 steak, I expected better. On the bright side, the staff was friendly and attentive. I'd give this place a 3.5 out of 5 if Yelp would let me. I just don't think it's worthy of 4 stars with the under seasoned steak. I honestly enjoyed the t-bone at the Waffle House down the street more.

Food was ok, but service was pretty bad. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our drinks, and the place was half empty.

I could genuinely tell it was made with love and care. It instantly reminded me of how Anton Ego felt in Ratatouille. It was like I was reliving the very first time I tasted fettuccine Alfredo. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. The service was incredibly friendly and warm, making the experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance was charming, cozy, and spotless. I highly recommend Venucci Italian for a cute date night, a girls' night out, or simply catching up with friends over a great meal. I'll definitely be back!

This was basically a chuck roast slow cooked with BBQ sauce poured on top. The roast had a lot of fat on top. I had a side of mac & cheese and greens. The Mac & cheese was not bad. The greens had too much of the stalks in it and they needed more time to cook. I will say their drinks were on point...strong, like I like my drink. One more thing, this may have been a one off, but towards the end of our meal we started to feel the temperature in restaurants starting to get warm/hot. I don't know if they keep the AC high so it doesn't come on that often, but we noticed it was gettin hot in there. I would go back to try the lamb chops but our waitress told me they are well cooked. I don't think I want an over cooked lamb chop.

At each point, the valet, the host, the server, the food runner--everyone greeted us with a smile and kindness. The welcoming environment was definitely not lost one me. Now, to get to the food: I love that the oysters rotate and I tried a Blue point (my favorite), Love Shucks, and a queen's cup. Next, we went for the blue crab dip. It's served in a great for sharing cast iron skillet. The dip was delicious, and although the dill chips were nice and crunchy, they were overall way to salty and really detracted from the crab dip. For entrees we opted for the stuffed trout and the grouper bites. The grouper bites were fried perfectly and the succotash that it came on really brought out the flavors. I wasn't a fan of the hash but my mom loved it. Now the star of the meal was the pickled onions on my trout. Wow! Truly elevated the dish in a way I hadn't expected and sounds so basic but was a genius choice. Another standout was our server Christian who was attentive, enthusiastic, and helpful. It's so cool because he's also the voice on ESPN so go check him out!
