referee my daughter because they say they will give you 100 for Referal my daughter came in but couldn't donate cause her asthma was flared up she needed antibiotics and the steroids she she came back a few weeks later and completed her first donation on Thursday well cal said she wasn't eligible for the Referal cause the Referal code was activated in December when they turned her away because of asthma but in the Csl app it clearly states that you get the Referal and the code activates within 7 days of your 1st Donation Nor your first attempt to donate after you actually donate! there is clearly sketchy shit w the wording and verbage being used by Csl so they can trick patients to referring as many people as possible but then not paying for the referrals as promised so I will no longer refer anyone to this place and am very disappointed Bioplasma never had these issues so I will switch back to them and now I know why so many people left csl if I could give Zero stars I would dint refer here because they don't pay you like they promise!! read more

Often the wait is long but the staff is so friendly. The phhlebotomists are skilled, efficient and put you at ease. They remember your name and things about you to chat about next time. Miles, the medical staff, is very chill and respectful. He was cognizant that I may be uncomfortable as a female and asked for consent before the physical and always explained where he would touch before he did so which was very appreciated. The rude woman doing my intake rushed me through, Didn't update my address, and was loud, talking to another person while I was with her. She stuck my finger and squeezed it hard. Then the inadequate woman in the back messed up my arm and gave me a bruise, she didn't apologize. The rude medical person let 2 People go ahead of me. I will not go back. Nice friendly staff. The Ina Rd facility is the best in Tucson. Usually well staffed. Sometimes you are in and out but others definitely not. I like going whenever i want without having to make an appointment. The competition makes you set a appointment which is meaningless most of the time because you still are going to wait on average of 1 hour to get a bed. read more

I went to donate. There was only one employee doing intake. The line was almost out the door, it was so long. If there had been more than just the one employee I might have waited. I went to a better location. The place on Ina are always sooooooo slow. read more

The front desk people were fine, and all wore masks. Ran me through the orientation efficiently, and the male Asian intake technician (don't have his name) I dealt with was personable and answered any questions I had. The older blonde nurse who gave me a physical was also personable and knowledgeable, very nice woman. So far so good. It's when I was lead to the "medical side" of the facility that things got sketchy. When you call the office, a recording tells you how they are committed to your safety by practicing social distancing and "offering" everyone a mask, etc. The reality is that no one is wearing a mask. None of the donors packed into the "waiting room", a 10'x10' cubicle, where based on what I've read from former donors, the wait can be hours, or the donors standing, waiting in the hall, or even once the donors are seated 4' away from each other in the recliner chairs. Unlike the administrative side, NONE of the "medical" technicians wear face masks as they putter from one donor to the next. They have clip on plastic face guards that barely reach from cheek to cheek and rest about 2" from their mouths, and one guy with a beard kept his mask up unless he was actually handling the blood filled tubes at the end of a donation. Watching the techs do their job, I got less of a 'nurses in a medical setting' feeling, and more of a 'Jiffy Lube workers' feeling. Then comes donor compensation, $125 for each of the first 8 donations (2 months). Donors are paid with a Visa prepaid card with bunches of fees (35¢-60¢ each transaction after one free). There is no way to link the cards to your bank so after calling Paysign (the debit card vendor) I was told the best course of action is to take $120 from an "in network" ATM at Walgreens or CVS, then go inside and buy something small and get the rest of the $5 in cash back. Oh, and you see that "$10 bonus coupon" for first time donors they show on their website? It's not a $10 bonus for your first donation. It's a punch card requiring 10 donations for $10. Yeah, a $1/donation bonus. The reason they offer you this is because after the first 8 donations, the compensation drops from $125 each to $40-$60 each depending on how much you weigh. Bottom line, if you are struggling and are super desperate for cash (apparently CSL's prime demographic), don't care about medical standards of cleanliness, and have no better routes to earn money, go for it. Wow! I wish I could give negative stars! What an absolutely HORRIBLE experience at CSL Plasma 3757 W Ina Rd Unit 100/120 Tucson, AZ 85741 United States From the time we walked in at 10am to the time we left at 1:45pm (and still not even close to finished with the process) I was talked to as if I was a disrespectful child causing problems by "medical personnel" From the mask nonsense To sitting next to Lisa Had the "medical personnel" run back to her coworkers talking shit because we talked to someone else about the way we were treated. We were treated differently based on race and sexual preferences. I watched this "medical personnel" treat someone else in the waiting room of the same race very respectfully and offering assistance but when addressing Lisa and I it was total disrespect, rude and very very unprofessional. We talked to the folks up front and got "I'm sorry, we know about her attitude" but they do nothing about it? Wasted 4 hours of my time to tell me I couldn't donate because of a bruise on my shin (which she and four other people saw prior to my medical exam) no one told me anything about bruises other than on my arms from actually donating. Treated Lisa like utter shit because she let go of her mask (when the lady asked to see her face... why do you need to see her face but not mine?) then told Lisa "we aren't doing this again" because she let go of her mask... Lisa proceeded to ask the lady what her problem was with us and she said "you guys called me names" (the only thing I stated was she's probably racist and hates gays) Lisa said "you're a fucking cunt, there I actually called you a name" She came up with any excuse not to approve us for donation. As a first time donor, I was expecting the initial process to take a couple hours but I sat there and completed a few steps for over an hour for them to check my veins and say they were too small. Ridiculous they wouldn't check in the beginning to ensure you can even donate that day. They offered to complete the check in process so I could come back a different day but they said it would take another hour, absolutely ridiculous to think people can spend 3+ hours and not even donate. Usually I don't have any issues or complaints with this location but the last 3 times I've tried to donate I've been told my temperature is too high. And I know for a fact it's not. I work outside some days and I check my temp before going in on those days cause let's be real 100+ outside isn't fun and will definitely read hot. I check it in my car and I'm at a normal 97-98. I park close and end up standing around for about 10-15 mins waiting in the AC. By the time I get to the reception I'm some how 99-101. Get back to my car and read it again on my own and I'm still showing the same 97-98. So something is going on. Each time it's been the same booth. It's very annoying to drive 45 min across town to turn around and drive all the way back home. I don't mind donating cause I know it helps people but something needs to get checked out. If it's the same out come tomorrow I'll probably not be back again. Which is a shame. I do enjoy seeing some of the techs there and conversations are always great. read more

Malicious, disrespectful and grossly unprofessional. I've donated from Florida to Nebraska to Arizona, and never have I gotten the run around as I have at their Ina location. You can't even ask a question without the attitude bubbling to the surface. Like how dare you question them. So three visits and about six hours of wasting my time...and even a note from my doctor addressing the fact that there's no reason I can't donate and I've yet to donate at this location. Going to give it one more try today, but I don't feel confident as I feel I'm being retaliated against for calling out one of their co-workers for treating and older new hire disrespectfully. So after today, if I'm given anymore grief...I'm done. And although Biolife is 42 minutes away and clear over on the other side of town...I've been told they treat you more like a client than cattle. This place is horrible. The staff are too busy talking and messing around to actually take vitals in a timely matter. Also, the staff who do take vitals do not change their gloves between each patient which is severely disturbing. Some staff are so rude and they seem to be miserable working there. Be prepared to wait untill the end of time. New donors are put as a priority while loyal donors are treated like garbage. Bad customer service. Would not recommend at all. Literally the worst medical service I've ever received anywhere in my entire life. I waited not one, not two, FIVE hours totally to go through the start up qualifications even though there was like 3 people there total. At the two hour mark, even though I had previously informed them of my food intake and they deemed it fine, they suddenly decided it wasn't fine and asked me to leave and eat , which meant they had to start the process over again so I come back go through 3 more hours of waiting and paperwork. Finally, after all of that, everything's comes back good and I'm ready to donate, I sit down and not one but TWO of their "doctors" weren't competent enough to find my veins. I have donated plenty of blood/ have had blood work done in my life and never has anyone not been able to find my veins, they did not even try and told me I could not donate after wasting almost SIX hours of my time. I have no words for how furious I was having my time be absolutely wasted like that, and the lack of qualifications for these doctors was VERY APPARENT. read more

I have been coming to this location for 3 years. I have never had an issue and everyone has always been extremely kind to me. Today I went in after taking 4 months off from donating just because of my hectic schedule with school/work. I checked in and was told I had to seek counseling since it had been a few months. Totally fine. I sit down and the medical personnel that was interviewing me, short black hair, female, not sure of her name because she didn't introduce herself. She was extremely rude and very condescending. She acted as if she was irritated to be working. As I watched her interaction with other people she seemed very annoyed and had very little patience. She started asking me about my medications. I told her I'm taking 2. My levo for my thyroid and a birth control. She then questioned my AS NEEDED anxiety medication. I stated I haven't needed it and it has never been an issue before. She sent me out and said if I wanted to donate I needed a note from my doctor indicating that I was "stable to donate" and said I could leave and come back when I had that note. To say that I was stunned by her delivery of that was a total understatement. It's as needed for a reason. I use it when I NEED it. Why do I have to explain to her what I do when I don't need it? I have never had to show proof of "stability". I will not be returning to CSL again. It's already hard enough on people that they have to donate during these times, but to be treated so rudely like this individual did, it's not wonder people are not coming back. The front desk girls, Carlos, and so many other people do their job so well and are so kind to everyone that walks in the door and treats everyone so kindly. Whoever this person that is screening your donors, needs to be reconsidered because she is seriously one of the rudest people I have ever met. read more

The staff here are really friendly, but tend to be slow sometimes depending on the day you come in. Certain staff get caught up with thier own conversations then taking care of the donars that can be really fustrating especially when your waiting 10 minutes or longer. This is a great way to put away a few dollars for a raining day and help others. read more

Here's a true testimony about the csl plasma location on Ina and Thornneydale. Overall the management is fair and in touch with their clients. The representatives in the plasma area are polite and informed. This is a very good cause and great for extra money however 1 star for the fact when you are a new donor and wait 5 hrs for prescreen. physical ×2 and then they deny you because you had a baby 4 months ago. They need to have a up front questionnaire that ask these questions. First lady spoke with said 6 weeks and then when smoke with supervisor said 6 months. Nobody there on the same page.
