I'm trying to figure out why there's so many bad ratings. #1 this is way better than working at some 9-5 fast food gig and the gigs I've done before. #2 it's out of the control of the staff members whether medical personnel leave or not and they would rather have your health protection just in car you start convulsing. #3 I've met since beautiful heart and kind hearted people here. The sweetest people I've met have been in this very place. Alejandra and Deanne McClung (spelling?) And Tina Have been so absolutely amazing . Seriously, Deanne and Alejandra were so sweet and walking me through the process and comforted me. Tina reminded me why is so important to donate because it takes like 1200 bags of plasma (could be wrong- but I just knew it was TONS) to make meds. Tina, you were so kind. You're doing amazing& tabs for telling us the importance of WHY plasma centers exist. Deanne, you are such a sweetheart and just a professional at what you do. The nurses/staff here were top notch- everyone was just so incredibly sweet and helpful, like they all went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable, and were understanding the whole process. This is the best CSL location in the Denver/Metro area hands down! The management is great and you can always find them helping in all the areas at this center. The staff here is awesome & caring. Denied me for my eczema when the first doctor that took my blood said it was okay. No I didn't have a rash at the time I looked at the Do's and Do not list. The old lady with the red hair just wanted me out since they were closing at 7. So I Went to BioLife Plasma right down the street and they took me the very next day and PAID MORE!! i have been a full time donator for awhile now and seen the promotion for refer a friend get $100 we completed everything on the check list and it was pretty much a scam because didnt receive the money supposibly (ineligible) but we completed everything together and still didnt get a dime for completing the check list and also gaining them (CSL PLASMA) a new full time donar. read more

This place feels like a methadone clinic. Horribly understaffed and unapologetically so. No one here seems to have any idea of what's happening or who is in charge. All fine estimates are complete nonsense and from what I can tell they are sandbagging by at least two hours when they quote a time frame. No one is really dotting I's or crossing T's here and none of the informational/safety things were gone over. The person giving physicals was rude and left for lunch laughing that it was going to cost me another 30 minutes even though there was no one else in line for the 1.5 minute physical. When he returned from lunch he took a couple others ahead of me that had jumped in line ahead of me. And all while I'm surrounded by the clientele who were clearly not of sound mind or body. It was a little disturbing although not surprising when I witnessed someone leave their clinic, and cross the parking lot to purchase a meth pipe in the business adjacent to the clinic. The girl doing my plasma couldn't find my vein (which is fine I have issues with my left arm vein) however she decided it was proper sterile procedure to jab the same needle in me 3 times after having the SAME NEEDLE removed multiple times. Now I understand some of you might not understand what this means but essentially she was using unsterile medical equipment over and over again. Until I eventually told her to "get that dirty f***ing needle out of me now" This was completely unprofessional and I will be contacting the state medical board about this immediately. read more

Have donated a couple time here, this is my experience after 6 visits of the 6 I only got to donate 4 times. Why couldn't I donate the other two times I visited? Bruising the staff caused trying to get to to my vain. No the first time this happened fine the just used my other arm. But every other visit since then Nada. The lady who was in charge of medical could be heard telling staff she was going on lunch. 5 mins later the old crown was back in stopped me when I was getting ready to donate to tell me I couldn't because of bruise that was under 2 inches I get they have the rule to protect me but when I can see you use the ruler in front of me measuring it and I can see it's under two shows me what kinda person you are especially since this the crown who cleared me on that first donation with all the problems. So don't let them reposition a needle in you. I'mma complain next time I can go in. A teenager in a fast food restaurant could run the business better and with greater efficiency than the idiots currently in control. Every phase of the operation is a time consuming waste of time for the donor and don't bother complaining, they regard donors as inconveniences. You will spend no less than 45 minutes being routinely screened by one screener as 3-4 new donors get priority in front of you WHILE STANDING. ​ Then expect at least 2 or more hours waiting to get hooked up WHILE STANDING. Chairs are not supplied to donors because MGMT is using all of them while they ignore the discomfort of donors betting on how uncomfortable you will get before complaining, and ignore complaints when registered. Worst business ever. As a first time patient with nobody waiting infront of me it took TWO HOURS TO GET CHECKED IN. They forgot that I was there 3 separate times, but managed to send every employee on a 15 min break while I was sitting there. I showed up to the Northglenn location at exactly 8:10AM as a brand new donor meaning I had never once set foot in a plasma donation center so I had no clue how the process works other than the basic info you can find online. Anyways, it is VERY OBVIOUS to the people that work at the front desk as to the people that are there for their very first time. You sit in some chairs in the very front, directly beside the aforementioned front desk. DIRECTLY. Now, as I said, I arrived at 8:10 on the dot. Well, apparently, there are certain days when no one is available to do physicals until after 1:00PM as not everyone that works there can do them... So tell me why, out of a total of 3-4 different ppl I saw up at that front desk, not one single employee told me that I should wait & come back instead of watching me sit there, knowing damn well that I couldn't even make it to the physical portion of the new donor signup process until a minimum of 5 hours passed. They need to warn people when there's no one to do physicals until a certain time of day. I realize you can't just show up at 1:00 & someone will be immediately available to do your physical. I also realize that you will most likely be there for an hour or 2 before you make it to the physical portion of the process regardless, but what about the other 3-4 hours?! How could you just sit there & watch someone waiting for all that time without giving them a heads up? I mean the absolute earliest anyone should be there on those days is 11:00. When I finally made it up to the vitals table, I mentioned reading how the process should take any more than 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 hrs & how I'd already been there nearly 6 hours & the lady said, "Oh, no one told you that physicals wouldn't be available at all until 1:00PM today?" I said, "No, they didn't, but I sure wish they would have" got up, & walked out & will never go back. They can keep that $1100 read more

I don't understand why you would work with people if you're going to be rude to them. Not to add that their website and actual hours don't match. The is never enough staff here. The staff they do have is pleasant and competent- but few stay for long. They seem to schedule less people at the end of month when it's busiest and clients are trying to get the bonuses. Why are they unable to do i the staff for the busiest times? I have been donating since November of 2020. They are regularly under staffed. Most of them are nice, but the place is so mismanaged. They recently started a new donor drive and are paying extra for donations (great), but not they have so many people coming in and didn't staff up for it (one of the employees said that the manager forgot to take that into account). Today, my wife and I waited 45 minutes for the pre-donation part. We finally made it through only to find out that there were 6 people waiting in another line to get into the donation area, and as far as I could tell, there were many people waiting in the donation area to donate. I've been donating almost a year now and it has been great. I don't understand all the bad reviews....this is a voluntary donation and they pay you. You might be here for an hour maybe two depending on how busy they are. You plan for it. All the staff is very friendly and do their jobs as efficient as possible. They are very clean and change their gloves all the time. The fact that they remember my name is even more awesome. Thank you for doing a wonderful job under pressure and sometimes under staffed. I don't believe you get the appreciation you deserve for putting up with the attitudes I sometimes see here. I'll keep donating and saving lives for as long as I can! read more

I was just scrolling through my phone, when this man stared to get mad saying I was taking pictures even after I showed them my phone he proceeded to say if I do it again Im banded from there. When I first signed up to donate the process was long like expected but after an obnoxious (obvious frequent donor ) came in the staff all seemed to have dropped what they were doing to chat and entertain him . Then the nurse came out and started complaining about how she's done over 200 exams this month. Way to complain about your job in front of the people you need to examine .. This is the worst location. They are rude as hell and take forever to get you hooked up and going. They are understaffed but they do nothing to try and fix that. Do yourself a favor and go to literally any other location. I got to this location at 9 am and I didn't get hooked up until 11:20. They even blatantly skipped me and hooked up TWO people who got there after me and then had the NERVE to tell me that it was my responsibility to say something??? If my usual location wasn't going through a power outage I wouldn't even come here. Andrea was rude and Didn't even try to go in a decent order. I also accidentally dropped my headphones and after I asked one of the staff politely if they could get it for me because at that point I was already hooked up and they refused and told me I could get them when I'm done. Terrible customer service. They apparently couldn't care less if you are stuck on the table for hours due to low blood flow from an improper stick. They just ignore the machines warning beeps and obliviously walk around the room, when you actually flag someone down they don't really care if you're returning blood at about 1/8 the speed of other donors. This usually isn't a problem for me, but I got stuck by a new employee, and ended up donating for 2 hours, needing to pee the whole time and almost pissing my pants. I donated plasma for months to this place. The first 5 times you get $50 then after that depending on your body type you can receive less. I received $42 for every donation after that. I went in one day to donate and they said I would receive $22. I was confused and asked if they changed their payout rate, they replied no. Then I asked why I have been receiving $42 all this time and why is now less? They replied that I have only donated 5 times and after the 5th time the rate goes down. I replied well I understand that but why have I been getting $42 for the 15-20 times after my first 5? They said I have only donated 5 times. What a joke.
