When I block the numbers they call from another number which is how spam works of course. I have blocked no less than 50 numbers and still get calls from new numbers! It's never ending and annoying being blown up after asking 25+ times to be removed from their call list. The process of donating blood should also not take as long as it does. At my previous donation center I was in and out within 20 minutes. Their process with an appointment was about 2 hrs.

When you walk in, I checked in and sat for my screening where they checked my weight, took my pic, verified my identity and did a quick prick to test my blood. Afterwards, I did a questionnaire which took about 15 min. You also will meet with a medical specialist to do a quick physical to make sure you're in good healthy to proceed. The staff was very INFORMATIVE and polite. They made me feel at ease and comfortable during the entire process. The donation part itself took me about one hour from start to finish. I personally thought it was an uncomfortable process having the blood drained out of you. I had a few moments where I felt quesy but made it through. The facility itself was very cleans and busy. It was packed. My first appointment took 4 hours! So make sure you set aside time. I'm sure your second one will be better. But expect to wait since many people will be there. Trying to make two appointments in one week as they recommend is nearly impossible. Slots fill up fast so make sure you get on it.

Every staff member I came in contact with was very friendly. From checking in, the physical exam, and the efficiency in the donor bay. The whole process was very quick and efficient! I was so surprised because I knew I had to go through the new donor process all over again. I was in and out. From 11-1. I was apprehensive to just go and get it done, especially due to the other reviews left for this center. The whole experience was great from start to finish; I'll definitely be back!

I requested to speak to a manager to have the results redone, but my request was denied. I also observed the employee making an adjustment to the machine, which made me uncomfortable about the accuracy. Because I was concerned about the accuracy of my results and had concerns about being treated unfairly, I went to BioLife afterward to have my results checked at another plasma center. At BioLife, my apheresis machine reading was 54 different from the 57 I was given at Grifols. This experience has left me concerned about the accuracy and consistency of results I receive at Grifols, and I would like management to investigate what happened.
