She did have in her bed with her her cell phone so she could communicate with the outside world when she was able. Staff came in to change her sheets and failed to check the sheets for personal belongings and took her phone in the sheets. We reported it immediately and told them that we could see her phone was still in the hospital using our "find friends app." Her iPad was also with her phone, which disappeared as well. We elevated it to the patient advocate who is named Tammy Garcia.. We have her phone number and contact information. She has not once returned my phone calls for an update on how the Hospital plans to reimburse my daughter for the missing items. We've tried everything we know to get hold of someone who can help and so far not one single person with the Hospital has returned my phone call. My husband has tried to reach them as well and I think he's only had one in person response from Tammy and from that point on absolutely nothing. We understand the importance of not bringing expensive personal items into the hospital, but we found it necessary for her to have her cell phone because the landline was way behind her bed and not reachable from her bed. Because she was unable to get out of her bed without a two person assist that meant there was no way she could contact anybody without having a cell phone with her. We are sharing this experience with anyone who is considering where they are going to go for hospital care. The nursing staff was very kind and they were very attentive to our daughter. In all radical authenticity, the administrative side of this hospital is rotten. We are very, very disappointed with Sky Ridge Medical Center for these reasons. If anyone has any idea about how we could go forward and get a response, we are certainly open..

As soon as Dr. Fromm received my x-rays from C.R. Adventist Hospital, she contacted me to see how I was doing. Since my injury on December 10th (today is 12/31/2016), Dr. Fromm has been working with me to find pain management strategies, including medication, with the least amount of side effects. This has proven extremely difficult, but she hasn't given up. I may be a medical number to the Orthopedic Physician Assistants in Lone Tree, but I am a valued person to Dr. Fromm! Since the generic Percocet prescribed to me by the hospital and refilled by the Physician's Assistant had horrible side effects, I sincerely appreciate the effort Dr. Fromm has put into finding something I can tolerate! I had a good experience at this local Castle Rock UCHealth Urgent care this morning. I had a…read moreterrible bout of tension headache/nausea/pain that has lasted for days and wasn't getting better. Due to the extreme pain, it took a lot just to drive myself to the clinic, so I walked into the clinic with no appointment this morning. I was seen within five minutes of checking in. The medical assistant who checked me in asked all of the appropriate questions and took my vitals in a professional manner. Ashley, the PA who treated me, saw me right away and gave me some injectable medicines to make me more comfortable. She patiently listened to my issues and concerns, prescribed some medication to help with my symptoms, and discussed a follow-up plan to resolve my pain. I have to say that Ashley and all of the staff saw me in a timely fashion and handled my issues appropriately and professionally. I don't know why some of the reviews of this clinic were negative on Yelp, as I had a good experience, at least as much as I could while not feeling well. I hope that I won't need to go back to Urgent Care for a while, but if I do, I'd feel comfortable and confident returning to UCHealth in Castle Rock.

Logan was the physicians assistant. He came in and asked me to tell him what was going on which I appreciate. He checked my vitals and examined my ear. Ear infection. Sigh. Sent a prescription and recorded what his advice was. It's a little challenging if you're not used to getting your doctors note online. Ryan sent me a link on text and that helped. It was a good visit and everyone was helpful.

I arrived at my appointment that I had made about 2-3 months prior to be told my appointment would be cancelled due to an emergency and I asked who I would be seeing to be told "I don't know", office manager came out and told me that I could still see Dr.Snyder, but it would be a wait because of the emergency and had at the hospital. That's fine, I understand emergencies happen and was happy to wait. I waited for 2 hours... again.f that's fine. Hit when Dr.Snyder arrived, I heard her from inside the exam room complaining that she hadn't been able to have lunch yet, her staff told her to get a quick bite and she said "I can't, this patient refused to cancel" before coming into my room (not true, I asked who else I could see and and they told me I could still see her and provided no other options), as soon as she came into the room she said "I know you came in for a consult but I haven't had lunch yet so I'm not going to answer any of your questions, I'll send you home with some papers and do your exam"... I waited 2-3 months to have my questions answered about a surgery and she's coming in here and immediately telling me she's not going to answer ANY of them? Nope. She sent me home with an internet printed document with FAQs about the procedure I wanted. NOT HELPFUL AT ALL! During my exam she then tried to push a vaccine on me and shamed me for not wanting to have it done. So you can't answer my few questions but you can push a vaccine that has NOTHING to do with my exam or surgery I wanted? So unprofessional and rude. She then completed my exam and before leaving the room said "I want you to understand that emergencies happen and because of that we will have to cancel appointments" I was floored, I told her "I understand that emergencies happen, I did ask if I could see someone else or who else could do my exam and they told me I could still see you" and she just blankly stared at me before saying "yeah, sometimes cancellations happen" and then left. I understand that people can have off days.... But the way I was treated was atrocious. It's not easy as a woman to go in for your yearly exams and then want to have a surgery and have questions only to be told that they aren't going to answer any of them after waiting 2-3 months for this appointment. Dr.Snyder, do better. I hope you never treat another patient like this. These appointments already have many of us feeling so vulnerable and to be treated so rudely, dismissed and shamed for not wanting to take a vaccine that isn't necessary for my lifestyle... I'm floored. I took time off from work for this appointment only to get no answers and to be made to feel less than human.

I was recommended to Dr Garramone's practice by my neighbor. She is an articulate attorney who has…read morehad some tough health issues and since she highly recommended him, I thought... hmmm... I better check him out. I saw 3 other surgeons to inquire about the pain in my knee. I had 3 different views and I wanted his expert opinion. Well, he agreed with the 1st and 3rd surgeon, that they were onto the right diagnosis and he could take care of it. Dr. Garramone spent as much time as I needed, not rushed out the door after a few moments... unlike some of the other Drs.... just saying... I liked his precise analysis along with his suggestion to also use PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Therapy.. so I said yes to him and scheduled my surgery. I really liked the hospital he was at and I got all emotional when Sky Ridge sent me a get well postcard with everyones signature. I'm a big baby... anyway the hospital was efficient, quick and staff was excellent! My surgery recovery, can I say surgery recovery was Great? Sure, it hurt but I expect when you cut into somebody's body and do stuff to a bone, it's going to hurt! But, Every Day I Got Better! I even took pictures so I could be distant from the healing process and remember exactly what it looked like instead of relying on my memory. I'm currently 7 weeks out from the torn meniscus and a whole bunch of other stuff he did, but again, Every Day, I feel better. Yes, it feels better than it did before and I could tell that after 5 days! Would I recommend him, a big Yes - 5 Stars completely. Go for it!!! VJ

He explained about the necessity of the labrum and told me that`s why I was in such pain all the time. He did surgery on it, told all about the recovery time, what I could and could not do, and after the follow up visit suggested a Platelet-Rich Plasma injection, which I believe helped expidite my healing.
