On Tuesday, I went to this CSL plasma center at Lancaster in Dallas, Texas to donate plasma and when I went there I was told by the first nurse in medical I had to give a sample of my blood which I did at another CSL plasma center on Saturday. So after I left the first nurse at medical. I went to go to the donor check-in line to the front of the line because that's what I did at the other CSL center on Saturday. So when I went up to the check-in booth Chinyere refused to check me in for her own personal reasons. So went back to the check-in line and waited for the other donor check-in person to finish. When he did finish I walked to Marvin's booth to get checked in. When Chinyere shouted I had to leave the booth and accused me of skipping the line. When I didn't skip because I came from medical. So after I was rudely told to leave the booth I left and stood off to the side and after a few minutes I decided to go to the donor floor because they didn't want to check me in. When I got back there I told them I was giving them a sample of my blood. They put me in a empty bay and the phlebotomist came to take the sample, but he couldn't find me in the system. After I explained the situation to him we went to the check-in line. Where we spoke with Chinyere and she said they already called my name and I had to re check-in. So I went from the kiosk to the line and then to the booth not before I was talked to by the management about being accused of skipping. After I finally I got to the booth with Marvin we spoke about the situation all of a sudden he got up for no reason. So after about 10 minutes I stood up to see what was going on I see Marvin on the phone even though it didn't ring. Then another donor check-in person called me over to her booth. As I was checking in I was called to speak to another member of management again about being accused of skipping. Then I went back to medical to see a second nurse after that. Where I was told that I didn't even have to give another sample of my blood. When I asked the second nurse why the first nurse said I had to give another sample of my blood. She said "I don't know?". So all in all I wasted an hour and a half and I didn't even donate. I only mentioned the people whose names I knew or had a negative impact on the situation. To be honest this CSL is badly run from the top from the bottom. The people there are unprofessional, disrespectful, and very unorganized in some cases. This situation among others that lead up to this situation were the last straw for me and I felt the need to speak out about this experience. read more
