This little hole in the wall is Awesome. Friends live close and they recommend that we eat at this place. Did i say awesome? The waffles are tasty and big and really good. The eggs were perfect. The different flavors/ topping were plentiful. I enjoyed it so much, we went back for breakfast 3 of 4 days during this stay. Yea, we could've eaten at home but it's not as much fun. I tried a few different plates during our stay so when i say everything was good, i mean everything. So, nice place right on the main drag. Great service. Great food. Good toppings. What else do you need. What else could you want. This is a good way to start your day or weekend. Try it and you will agree, this place is awesome. I highly recommend it. read more

This breakfast and lunch restaurant is located on US 1 in Edgewater, having relocated to this spot from another strip center to the south. Food as always is very good, and comes out reasonably quickly. 3 suggestions for making this restaurant a MUCH better dining experience: 1. have a permanent hostess (preferably an owner or manager) at the front register, to greet guests and show them to a table. 2. have the hostess assist where possible in cleaning off tables to speed up seating during busy times 3. do not have waitpersons take payments. This is really slow, and interrupts food delivery, which should be the #1 priority. read more

This C's waffles has moved, they are at 1401 S. Ridgewood Ave. More space than they had before the parking is closer. The space was occupied by the Athens restaurant. That owner retired. She left her Gyro recipe for C's waffles to use, as it was very popular. read more

I don't usually go to Yelp after bad service but it was insane. It gets more than 1 star because usually the service is decent and the food is really good. However my boyfriend and I went and there were about 5 tables sat. The server acknowledged us but never came by. We watched as she answered the phone a few times, talked to the chef for a bit and eventually took the tables order next to us as they had been waiting since before we got there. We decided we should head to another restaurant when we realized we weren't being seen anytime soon. We never even received a menu or had our drink orders taken after 15 minutes. read more

Walking into this restaurant, it is a hole-in-the-wall kind of place with 10 tables plus seats at the bar. There was standing room only while we waited for a table - until we opted for a seat at the bar. Omelets, waffles, eggs, hash browns, and even a tuna plate with fresh fruit are available. It's like an independent Waffle House. Seasonal offerings include a Pumpkin Spice Waffle. According to several notes on the menu, deleting items did not change the price and listed the substitutes offered. We had the deluxe omelet with everything, hash browns with an English Muffin for $8. Generous portions and it was very good. They are open until 7 pm. read more

They told me they don't do takeout orders on weekends. How dumb is that. The only difference between ordering in and take is placing it in a carton and a bag. How lazy can they be? Waffle was incomplete on 1/4 of the 360, how do you mess up the item that's in your name, then serve it. And I watched other come out the same way. Been twice now for breakfast and lunch. Granted, we went during non-busy hours but I thought the service was impeccable. The waitresses were so friendly and the food came quick. The waffle wasn't the best I'd ever had, but it was still really good. We were all really impressed with the sausages and hashbrowns. For lunch, that C's Deluxe is no joke. I've given this restaurant three tries. Each time I went my order was wrong. No joke. Either something was missing or something was added. The red, white and blue waffles sounded good BUT the "fruit" (strawberries and blueberries) were actually preserves as in "gelatinous goo". Waitress recommended burgers for my next visit. I'm pretty sure the meat is seasoned with fillers as in seasoned breadcrumbs which would be fine if it were cooked through or if it were meatloaf. The bacon had a "band-aid" flavor if that makes sense. I'd skip this place. read more

This was our first time at C's Waffles and we would not return. I had the classic breakfast. The eggs were ok-ish, but the cheese I ordered wasn't even melted on top....everything on the plate was only lukewarm. The home fries were homemade, frozen and then fried, but I would say it was the best thing on the plate. The bacon was pretty good- hard to screw up bacon. The biscuit tasted so full of preservatives and didn't taste good at all. My husband had a waffle and it was also lukewarm. The waffle was cracked down the middle like not enough batter was poured into the middle of the iron. The only thing to put on top was fake butter sitting out on the table and syrup in a squeeze bottle...cold. The food was overpriced for the quality. I'd rather eat at Chic-fil-a for breakfast than this place. Try somewhere else. read more
