If you're currently scoping out a place to grab a bite when visiting the cathedral, then just know this spot is literally across the street. Don't let the outside fool you as there is plenty of seating inside and it extends all the way towards the back. I was traveling with my grandmother who is a picky eater so I simply told her we were grabbing flat, thin pancakes for breakfast. Luckily for me she didn't ask further questions and we set of to dine before spending about two hours at the cathedral. My grandma loved the nutella banana crepes and to be honest I was shocked because it's hard to get her to eat sometimes. For my choosing I opted for the lemon sucre crepe and this is the dish for anyone who has a knack for sweet and tarte dishes. I also asked for a side of preserves and it was great. Pricing was more than reasonable and if any of y'all are travelling on a budget then go here. We just happened to have had great dishes without breaking the buck. We went to visit the Notre Dame Cathedral and was famished after seeing the tour inside. We were dying to try an authentic crepe made in France. Wowzers! Let me tell ya, the Banana and Strawberry crepe with chocolate is absolutely divine! I believe it was Nutella, and it added the perfect pairing of nuttiness to the crepe. We had seen the Fish and Chips was being advertised so we ordered a plate of that as well. The fish was perfectly crisp and super juicy inside. Not over cooked and not too oily. There are so many cafes and eateries around Paris, it's hard to choose where to eat. After walking around and passing by a few, we settled on this creperie. Notre Dame is literally across the street, so it's nice to eat outside and people-watch. There's plenty of seats, but mostly everyone was outside so the patio was crowded while the tables inside were empty. The menu is pretty extensive, there's a lot of options besides crepes. They serve some lunch options like fish and chips, and dessert like gelato. I got the Nutella crepe, which tasted fine. There was no filling inside, so it was pretty flat. They also had spaghetti, which was not like conventional red sauce pasta. It was interesting, but no complaints on taste. For a group of four, our check came to a little over €40, or $47 USD, which is pricey in my opinion. Communicating in English was fine, the waiter understood perfectly. There's also restrooms in the back, labeled Madame and Monsieur. If you mix up the two, the bathrooms are single person so it's okay (my dad made that mistake). read more

This place was pretty good. The hot chocolate was good but not thick enough at all, but the waiter gave me some whipped cream on my hot chocolate! I had the Nutella crepe with whipped cream which wasn't great. The whipped cream was just ok and the Nutella was only on top of the crepe not inside. The French onion soup was good ,but not as good as in the US. The chicken cheese crepe was the best savory crepe I have ever had. It was crispy and gooey. Every trip to Paris, I find myself always coming back here. It's become a sort of a tradition. We've always encountered Tenzin making crepes and serving us the best hot chocolate and we also always get the carbonara pasta Tenzin goes above and beyond for us helping my girls and I recreate a picture we took back in 2014 at the same exact location. Which is the front of the restaurant with the Norte Dame as our backdrop. She makes this restaurant! Her warm smile and adorable personality at the front of the restaurant is what brings us back each year. You maybe wondering why I only gave one star... Our recent trip there less than a week ago. My girls and I were welcomed with the same warm smile although Tenzin had about 15+ students at the crepe stand ordering. We made our way inside to the back of the restaurant and had our meal and even ordered some to go for our flight back to the States. It was nice to see the same cook also. Once we were finished eating inside, we made our way out to order crepes and hot chocolates for the four of us. We were enjoying the crepes and company of Tenzin when a lady with blonde hair walks pass us entering the restaurant and raising her voice to Tenzin. At this moment my girls and I are looking at each other confused because this lady begins to point at us still screaming at Tenzin. We were trying to make sense of the situation. Once the lady finally went to the back of the restaurant, we asked Tenzin if everything was ok. She explained that the lady was mad because we were sitting in the front section eating take out (our crepes and hot chocolate) and Tenzin explained to her we ate inside and came out for the crepes. The lady comes back out still screaming. My girls and I are angry at this point because she is disrespectful to us as paying customers and especially unprofessional and rude to even speak to an employee in that manner. Once the lady left to another restaurant on the same street. We tried to comfort Tenzin and told her the lady was completely wrong for doing that. Tenzin was brought to tears at the situation and we sympathized with her because that lady was a total b***h. If we didn't have a flight to catch, we would have stayed the whole night to be with Tenzin. As we were driving away we seen the lady sitting at the front of restaurant showing no signs of empathy with a smirk on her face as Tenzin was just a couple feet from her in tears, this broke our hearts because we couldn't stay and be with Tenzin. From the looks of it she was either the boss or lady of the boss. She is the most disrespectful and unprofessional person ever!!! Management needs to handle that lady!!! read more

WOW! We just finished visiting Notre Dame Cathedral & needed something to eat before continuing on. We stopped into the first restaurant we saw right across the street. A very quaint, little Crêperie with sidewalk patio that also sells crepes, waffles, hot chocolate, hot wine and more right outside as well. We sat right down on the patio which has a great view of Notre Dame and our order was taken promptly. I tried the Lasagna Bolognese & my wife had the ham, egg & cheese croquet. Both were absolutely AMAZING and VERY reasonably priced. We finished our meal with a couple of dessert crepes which were delicious. I believe this was our cheapest, real meal. After seeing Norte dame we wanted a fast snack. I ordered the Croque Monsieur & my boyfriend ordered a hotdog. Within 10 min my order came out & it was warm, freshly made so we ate it right away. When we were done with it, still no signs of the hotdog for 20 more min. We finally asked the waitress and she didn't realize that we never received the order, but managed to get it on the receipt correctly. We stayed in the building above during our vacation and when we arrived by cab ( 2 little girls in tow) with all our luggage the young lady running the front to-go stand jumped to our aid. She basically adopted our girls, asking them about their adventures in Paris every morning. The crepes are delicious and I have used a few of the tricks I witnessed to make crepes at home.
