Short Answer: One of THE WORST customer service experiences I've had in my life. Do NOT go here. So unprofessional, do not care about you or your time and I would guess your dog too considering the way they treat PEOPLE. Lied about my dog having lice just so they could leave early for the day. Long Answer: I took my dog once and it was fine, but the price was a lot more than what I was anticipating then when I tried to make an appointment for a month out they said for my dogs breed I had to wait 6-8 weeks (which I had never heard before). I was kind of annoyed, but i made my 2nd appointment at 6 weeks out which happened to be on Pioneer Day. I'm not originally from Utah so it was just another day for me though. I get a call from them two weeks before and they ask if I can move my appointment to an earlier time that day so some of their groomers could leave early and enjoy the holiday. I said that was totally fine, no big deal. Then I get a call the day before my appointment at 11 from them asking if I could bring my dog in between 11:30-12:00 that day. I told them I was at work but could ask my husband. My husband then went out of his way to go take the dog in even though he had to be somewhere at 1. He asked for a time range of when my dog would be done and they told him around 3:30 he said that he actually had plans but if he can't make it back on time that his wife could pick the dog up around 5. The lady then got upset at my husband because she said she wanted to leave early. Even though we the customers were doing them a big favor by bringing our dog in a day early. Also the store is supposed to close at 5. My husband said he will do the best he can be to be back, but he can't guarantee it. My husband left and then I got a call at work from them saying that my dog had lice and I needed to come pick him up. I then asked where they see lice because my dog lives indoors and I have NEVER seen lice on him. I also raised livestock growing up and I KNOW what lice looks like. The lady said regardless someone had to pick him up. My husband went back to pick up our dog after JUST dropping him off and he gets there and asks for them to show him where the lice are. They told me on the phone it was near his paws, but when trying to show my husband they searched on his back. They then pull out a clump or dirt claiming it is lice and my husband said that isn't lice. Then the lady has the audacity to say to my husband, "I'm not an expert on lice, but I'm pretty sure that your dog has it." They then told us we couldn't come in for at least two weeks after seeing a vet. My dogs hair was already super long and couldn't go another few weeks without grooming. My dog was still soaking wet and my husband asked if he could least have a towel to dry my dog off and then he left. I then get ANOTHER call at work with them now telling me I can't bring my dog in for another MONTH. I asked why because my husband said that you couldn't show him the lice you claimed my dog had. They said they are sorry it is just policy but recommended I take my dog to a vet to remove the lice and get groomed. Even though I know my dog didn't have lice I took him to the vet and guess what?! My dog didn't have lice, or bugs of any sort, just dirt. Glad I wasted so much time on this situation and money at the vet that these groomers INSISTED I go to. Don't waste your time or money on this place, beyond disappointed with my experience. Would give 0 stars if I could. read more

They charged $48 for a bath, $12 for clipping her toenails & when she came out without even so much as her feet trimmed, we asked about trimming her hair, they said it would be an additional $58! I have been talking my dog to Crystals dog spa for over 2 years! I love the results and love how kind they are! My dog is very territorial and hardly lets anyone she doesn't know well enough near her. The people at Crystals dog spa have earned her trust! It's unfortunate seeing other people's reviews on this page considering I have never found a better groomer for my dog! Great customer services, great price! My dog Riley is my baby, and I am very particular in places I take him! Other chain pet groomers (who will remain anonymous) scared him, and he always came home a jittery mess afterwards! But Crystals Dog Spa is amazing! Riley has been there several times now, and he gets excited to go! When we walk in he is wagging his tail so hard his whole body is shaking, and he literally jumps into the groomers' arms and licks her whole face! They are so loving and caring there, and he feels safe and looks forward to being there! They do a wonderful job with the grooming, he always comes home looking very handsome and smelling fresh! They also send him home with treats and toys! They are the best, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a pet groomer! read more

I take my dog here often. Took my 5 lbs dog to get just a trim on her head/face like I normally do and have done multiple times. My husband picked her up since we both have to work to survive. We are not made out of money. Turns out they not only raised their prices and never mentioned it until after they did the service but somehow had be "undercharging us" according to one of the groomers for the service since the beginning so they charged us $12 more than we have been paying since we have been taking her in. I know that might not seem a lot to most people but when you are trying to save up for a baby you have on the way and you can't even afford to have a date night once a month it's very frustrating not to even get a heads up before the appointment. Sucks that I have to find a new groomer because my dog is only 2 years old and we would have been loyal returning customers for a long time. read more

Decided to try them because they were close. Super disappointed. Their shop smells so strong of dog urine it burned my nose. They butchered my Morris. He looked awful. I could have done this haircut. He also smelled horrible as if they hadn't even groomed him. I won't be returning. I'd rather take him clear to Riverton where I know he will get groomed well. read more

I used to bring my Yorkie here for a few years (before he passed) and he always came back exactly as I'd hoped. Clean, trim and happy. After taking my Yorkie for a few years, I decided to bring my Jack Russell to reduce shedding and also trim his nails. He's very shy but always came home content and shedding less! Now, I take my cat here, as well as the Jack Russell and they always do a good job. My pets are well groomed, well loved, and comfortable in the spa. Going on about 4 years now! read more

I heard good things about this place, but after making an appointment for my short hair boxer to get nails and bath it took two hours! For what would have taken 45 min if you really took your time. For what I saw was they clipped her nails and gave her a bath and placed her in a drying kennel for 1.5 hr to "dry".. Going to work on other pets. After checking back twice, in 2 hr the groomer told us to leave because we were bothering other dogs. And, they don't care to check for vaccines either. I figured that when you make an appointment for your dog to go in it's not shared with six other dogs. We will be saving our $35 and doing it ourselves or take her to Beccas in orem. read more

We've been taking our two American Mini's here for the past year. They always do a fantastic job! They always look great and smell so good afterwards and the good smell lasts for a whole month! One of our dogs was adopted when she was 8 years old. She looked like she had never had a groom in her life and she has a pretty bashful personality. For her breed though, grooms are essential! She has done so well adjusting to getting grooms and I think that's because the groomers in this shop must treat the animals here very well while they are in their care. Yes they keep the dog for about three hours and then they phone you when the job is complete. I'm assuming this is due to the drying process that can take a while if you want their coat fully dry and looking awesome. I highly recommend this grooming shop! read more
