Not very satisfied with the interaction from HNL or its rep, Josh Brashear. They wasted several…read moreweeks of my time pretending like they were interested in bidding and working on our renovation project, only to go radio silent and eventually back out. They gave several excuses, including a price minimum (we have about $80k of work upcoming, minimum) and later a labor shortage. Ultimately, any of their problems could and should have been communicated prior to taking up preliminary work. It took calling Joe (owner) directly to finally get an explanation. I'm back at square one now, seeking a reputable and reliable construction contractor. Update: unprofessional and rude contractor then lashed out after receiving appropriate review. Do not dismiss other reviews claiming HNL is rude and demeaning. 2nd Update: owner Joe Thacker followed these interactions with a phone call where he attempted to threaten and intimidate me into altering this review. He said he would find out what I do for a living and attempt to destroy it. You should absolutely steer clear of this type of abusive company.
