I have been with this company for about 30 years and I have been very pleased. Way back in the 1990's or so, there was a mix up on our billing, but the customer service people were super nice and resolved it very quickly, even issuing a refund for the inconvenience. We have not had a single problem since that time. Our driver has been the same fellow for nearly the entire time, and he is amazing -- super polite, will occasionally ring our doorbell if we forgot to put our empty bottles out, remembers our children's names and is a genuinely kind and caring person. They recently changed their bottles to be BPA free - no small expense, I'm sure -- and I am hopeful that they are doing their best to lessen all of the bad chemicals in plastic bottles since glass bottles would be impractical. I appreciate them holding down costs while balancing that with providing a great product. On our plan, they will also bring us a free replacement water cooler at any time and take back our old one, and we used that about every 5 - 7 years, which has been nice. When the industry changed from water coolers with the bottle on the top, to a slide in water bottle on the bottom, they were ready with the new version and immediately got us one in the new style. They also refurbish the old ones instead of throwing them in the landfill, which I also appreciate. read more

We been waiting for this company to deliver water since last month. Of course they billed us but never delivered.

This company is evil. I have spent hours on the phone with them over 5 weeks to get my empty 5-gallon bottles picked up from my old address. Every time I talk to a different person and there is supposedly a different cause of the problem getting the pickup done. They always make it sound like they are fixing the issue. I attempt to schedule. Then no pick up. This has been a massive waste of my time and dealing with them is 1000 times worse than any other customer experience I have had. Recurring nightmare. Now I have to pay to have the bottles removed myself since I need to be out of the apartment. I won't get my deposit back on the bottles. And I've been told I need to pay "full price" on the bottles if they aren't "returned" (I have no way to return them except for them to pick up). This is a total scam. Moved from California where we had stellar service, transferred the account here. They showed up as scheduled with water, no dispenser (a dispenser had been confirmed twice in my call). I call in, am told they are out of the brand of dispenser that I had before, will send a different brand IN THREE DAYS. Now I've already gotten and paid for water in 5 gallon bottles I cannot use. They weren't going to bother to tell me a dispenser wasn't showing up...THREE DAYS LATER...I call in mid-day, "where's my promised dispenser???", I'm told, "the delivery driver got a late start, don't worry, it's on the truck for delivery today..."...6pm rolls around...no dispenser, call in, am told, "We're out of the dispensers, he doesn't deliver after 5 pm, I don't care what they told you earlier about it being out for delivery, I'M telling you we don't have any"...I definitely won't be back, I'm sending back the water they delivered, disputing the charge, and going elsewhere. read more

We've been using this service for over 5 years and have had a good relationship with them. Our schedule of services is automated so we never have to worry about pick up or delivery. Other than one dispute that I can recall, we've been able to resolve any issues by calling the main line. All the customer service representatives have been kind, helpful, and professional. read more

The service is horrible, I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. I have been with them for a year and have had nothing but problems since I obtain their service. No one in customer service helps and a manager never reaches out. read more

I'm so sick of this company that doesn't do what their supposed to do. Since I been with you I'm being billed and you're not providing the correct services. I haven't been with you since JULY!!!! How the hell am I still being billed??? I pick of my waters from the closest market faster than you can ever respond so why would I need your services!!!??? I'm not understanding how you bill me every 2 weeks and still not delivering but you guys seem to miss or drop the ball EVERYWHERE. The next time you bill me again, I'll be reporting this to the BBB. We tried to start Crystal Springs Water delivery service from DS Services, but they were completely unresponsive to inquiries concerning the 1st delivery. We canceled before receiving our 1st delivery after 6 days of promised deliveries and no response. We had Deer Park Water delivery service for 25 years, but canceled them also because of similar delivery issues. read more

Update: 6/4/18 ( I apologize in advance for the long review, but if you make it all the way through then you'll see why you should take a hard pass on Crystal Springs). After my last review I decided to give this company another chance at getting my deliveries right...that turned out to be a big mistake on my part. Again the route rep did not deliver my bottles to my apartment (even after multiple notes on my account say to do so).He instead chose to leave all 3 bottles outside on the ground where anyone walking by could take them. He's been asked to call me before he comes so I can know he's here and let him in but he still refuses to do this. If I hadn't emailed my leasing office and asked them to look around for them I wouldn't even had known that the bottles were outside and because he failed to deliver the water properly he also failed to pick up the 3 empty bottles I had sitting in front of my apartment inside the building. Now this will be a problem for me if he doesn't get them before the end of the billing cycle because Crystal Springs will charge me $18 for them. This shouldn't be how Crystal Springs runs a business. Why should the customer be penalized for the incompetence of the drivers? This happened the last time he didn't pick up the empty bottles I was charged $18 for having not returned them before the billing cycle was over. However, it wasn't that I didn't return them rather he didn't pick them up, so why was I charged for this?, and when he did come back a few days later to pick up the empties, this company had the nerve to charge me an additional fuel surcharge for him having to come back out. So in total for that one month I was charged $50 for 3 bottles of drinkable water and 3 empties. That's ridiculous when you consider that each bottle is $6.99 and I only get 3 a month, so I should be looking at a $30+ bill( with taxes, cooler rental and fuel surcharge included) not $50, and now again I have to worry about being overcharged for poor service. The last time this happened I contacted the company and asked for a refund of the $18 and was credited with only $13 because again they had to charge me for him to come back out and fix his mistake...What??? There shouldn't even be a charge to the customer, because again this is his mistake. If they want to charge for fuel then they should charge it to the drivers and maybe that would motivate them not to only do half of their jobs. In any case it seems like the route rep doesn't want me as a customer and I'm more than happy to oblige. I called today and asked to put the account on hold until I finish the new bottles he left outside yesterday, and when they are done, that's the end of my business to this ridiculous company. There are so many ways to get fresh water in our homes that we don't actually need companies like this, and yet none of them seem to care or even be concerned with losing business. So I say why should we care to give them our business in the first place? Take my advice and DO NOT do business with this company. Maybe if we all use the many other ways to get water these horrible companies will go out of business leaving their non-caring staff out of jobs, that they clearly don't value anyway. read more

I arranged for a cooler and 4 bottles of water and was given a $50 discount. I received a call that there system had an issue and they lost my order. I called back and they said my order was on track. 4 bottles of water was on my driveway the day before my water was supposed to be delivered. I called and was told the water cooler would be delivered several days later. The cooler was delivered and another 4 bottles of water was left as well. I called and asked to have the extras bottles picked up, I just dont have the room. They ask me to keep the bottles until next delivery and I agree. After the bottles are picked up I check my bill and they only credit me for the bottle deposit not the cost and the $50 credit was not applied. I call and they say I need to email. I email and the return email says that since I did not order a water cooler I did not get the credit. I explain the issue and neer hear back. I call and they cant help me. So I have been billed for 3 delivery charges 2 of whic were to correct the incorrect deliveries and 8 bottles of water and was never given any credit. After 7 phone calls with long hold waits and numerous emails still no resolution. read more

The model this company uses simply does not work. The delivery driver, Route Representative is paid commission to sell more product. Therefore, the product you order may not be on the truck when they arrive. My initial order was scheduled for a Wednesday. The Route Representative di not show and did not call. When I called customer service they said I changed my appointment to Thursday. In actuality the Router Rep changed it to Thursday. When he showed up he was missing 2 cases of water. He said he would be back to deliver them on Friday. did bot show on Friday, did not call. The next scheduled delivery the driver was also short 2 cases of water. I again called the customer service number. They said the earliest they could come out was 6 days later. OF course the route rep did not show up. All customer service can do is text the driver, or email the branch manager. No escalation process, no way to call the local branch. The local branch does not monitor the routes by GPS or any other way. When I cancelled they had the audacity to tell me they had to request credit approval for the unused bottles.
