The staff is really friendly. I always like talking to the owner when sitting at the club house. He always has some stories to tell. You can't bring coolers, but they have plenty of coolers that you can fill up with beer and soda. I'm excited that they now have Spotted Cow in a can! It's rarely busy here, which is nice if you are newer and don't like being rushed by other golfers. There's a good number of Par 3 holes that are not too difficult. The rest of the holes are over 300 yards and are good for getting out your driver and swinging the crap out of that ball. The greens though can be tricky....hills...THOSE DAMN HILLS! I always enjoy playing on this course and will keep coming for years to come.

They also have this machine that helps you with having the perfect golf swing. There a lot of options with the simulator. We started off with the driving range to warm up a little bit, and then we did a 2 person team scramble (so we can get through as many holes as possible). What's cool is there are tons of actual golf courses that you can choose from. We ended up selecting this popular course that's in Scotland. You can bring your own clubs, which is good so you're more comfortable with your play. The big hump to get over was hitting the floor with your club. On regular golf course, you hit the ground you make a divot from the grass. It's a little harder when you hit the floor here, but when wasn't that bad. Once you got in a rhythm, it wasn't that bad if you accidentally hit the floor. Another difference from real play is once you get the ball on the green, you're done with the hole. You don't need to put. As someone who is terrible at putting, I was excited by that. The reason is the ball needs to hit the screen in order to register the hit, and that impossible to do with putting. You can bring your own food and drink here. They do sell sodas, water and a couple of other drinks for $1-2, and Jack's Pizza for $10 which is a rip off...but whatever. If you're an avid golfer, this is a great place to go during the winter as you can go whenever you can, or you can join one of their Monday/Wednesday leagues.

Few reviews I've written will ever matter less, and for good reason…read more Tucked away in the middle of nowhere (my opinion) near where some in-laws live south of Green Bay is a golf course out in the country with barely a sign pointing its way. Six inches of snow cover the course and I don't golf, so that's not the point of the review. It's the bar, restaurant on a Friday night that brought me here and the custom of folks in this parts of the country digging a "Friday night fish fry." Sure, the fish probably hasn't been local for 30 years or more and likely comes off the Sysco truck, but what a feast places like this put on. We arrive around 7:30 p.m. and the place is absolutely jam packed with locals. Liquor is flying off the bar and down the gullets of diners like it's never to be served again. Hour wait. No problem, there's a bar. At 8:30 p.m. our plates arrive. And as expected, everything on the table is the same color--light brown and golden, except for the ketchup and a few flecks in the cole slaw. Deep fat fry heaven, we're having perch, and it's fine. Not overly breaded, not over salted or seasoned otherwise. Just fine, and enough we can finish. The fries don't taste like they were fried in the same oil as the fish and vice versa, something not all places can claim. The fries were sour cream, identically colored to the fish. With a few beers, went down fine, though well drinks seem to be the drink of preference here. Yelp could matter less here, and I'm totally OK with that. There is a lot of competition of this nature in this part of the country so you don't get a crowd like this without everything clicking. These folks probably served several hundred, and it went off like clock-work. Good service, friendly, fast and decent food. Not my kind of meal particularly, but love the experience. When in Rome... I experienced something dining here few will, a little slice of rural Wisconsin the way they celebrate the week, and I can say for certain these folks do not mess around.
