I don't have to wait for a mail order that could take a week or more to arrive. There's been a couple times where I've needed to fix a rod eye and needed thread epoxy...Sportsman had it on hand. I would've never known had I not asked. I'm for sure Fleet Farm, Scheels, and Reel Shot don't have a size 10 double foot eye or thread epoxy. The Sportsman does! It's not only lure making or rod building supplies here. Sportsman has a huge...HUGE musky tackle selection, an abundant selection of flies, crank baits, rods, reels, clothing. But if you are outdoorsy, Scott's Sports is especially for you. He rents kayaks, but mostly he sells them, as well as camping gear, skis and snowshoes, SUP equipment, footwear, sunglasses and lots of other things to enjoy the outdoors in Wisconsin. This is a great local place to get what you need, because Scott (the Scott in Scott's Sports) is right there behind the counter, ready to help and answer questions. The guy is extremely personable and knowledgeable about the area, and can recommend the best gear for what you're looking to do.
