My business partner has been a member of Oneida for almost 40 years. He knows everyone whether they…read moreare a member or work there The golf course is beautifully maintained as well as the old world charm of the club house which is decorated with historical photos of Green Bay Packer greats such as Bart Starr and Ray Nitchske But the best part of Oneida are the bar tenders in the club house lounge Normally there is Jeannie who is a hysterical and fun bar tender that is quick and efficient and dishes out fun loving insults. Love it! Last night she was off and there was another young bar tender Cassie that was also a fun loving bar tender as well which always makes the place enjoyable The wait staff are more up tight and not as lose The wine list is very good. Not extensive but what they do have overall is good and at fair prices. And Wed nights are great because bottles are half off. The food menu is extensive. There is a casual menu with salads and sandwiches and bar foods. The other more formal with appetizers and entrees The food overall is good but you come here to socialize, drink and kid around while overlooking the sloping fairways of the golf course

Went here for a work holiday party. It's on the outskirts of GB, not too far from NWTC. From what…read moreI heard, this is where the big shots of GB go to play golf as you need a membership, which I'm sure costs 1 year salary for me lol. It's a very fancy dancy building that had a big room that had enough space for our group of 40ish people. There's a small side room with a bar. We all started there with some cocktails. When dinner was ready, one of the wait staff had this small bell set and would go back and forth hitting each key. The food was great as we had three options of chicken, steak, or walleye. I had the chicken that was covered in a gravy with potatoes and mushrooms. On the side were some string vegetables. Let's just say I cleaned my plate with no problem. One downside is the drinks were expensive. $6.50 for a 12 oz. bottle of Spotted Cow. I don't even want to know the costs for mixed drinks. In that venue they can get away with that pricing. Nice place...

Six inches of snow cover the course and I don't golf, so that's not the point of the review. It's the bar, restaurant on a Friday night that brought me here and the custom of folks in this parts of the country digging a "Friday night fish fry." Sure, the fish probably hasn't been local for 30 years or more and likely comes off the Sysco truck, but what a feast places like this put on. We arrive around 7:30 p.m. and the place is absolutely jam packed with locals. Liquor is flying off the bar and down the gullets of diners like it's never to be served again. Hour wait. No problem, there's a bar. At 8:30 p.m. our plates arrive. And as expected, everything on the table is the same color--light brown and golden, except for the ketchup and a few flecks in the cole slaw. Deep fat fry heaven, we're having perch, and it's fine. Not overly breaded, not over salted or seasoned otherwise. Just fine, and enough we can finish. The fries don't taste like they were fried in the same oil as the fish and vice versa, something not all places can claim. The fries were sour cream, identically colored to the fish. With a few beers, went down fine, though well drinks seem to be the drink of preference here. Yelp could matter less here, and I'm totally OK with that. There is a lot of competition of this nature in this part of the country so you don't get a crowd like this without everything clicking. These folks probably served several hundred, and it went off like clock-work. Good service, friendly, fast and decent food. Not my kind of meal particularly, but love the experience. When in Rome... I experienced something dining here few will, a little slice of rural Wisconsin the way they celebrate the week, and I can say for certain these folks do not mess around.
