The staff is really friendly. I always like talking to the owner when sitting at the club house. He always has some stories to tell. You can't bring coolers, but they have plenty of coolers that you can fill up with beer and soda. I'm excited that they now have Spotted Cow in a can! It's rarely busy here, which is nice if you are newer and don't like being rushed by other golfers. There's a good number of Par 3 holes that are not too difficult. The rest of the holes are over 300 yards and are good for getting out your driver and swinging the crap out of that ball. The greens though can be tricky....hills...THOSE DAMN HILLS! I always enjoy playing on this course and will keep coming for years to come.

Easily the worst grounds, worst maintenance, and worst people at any course in the fox valley…read more Insanely flat, repetitive course. plays along roads a lot. If you love to booze and don't want a dress code this is the place for you. oh, you will want to be good around kids too. They let kids who don't know golf from their nose play there and it's a train wreck. The most uneducated golfers in the valley clearly send their kids here, because it's cheap and the only place they will take em. It's no wonder it keeps changing owners. Even their restauran and clubhouse looks like a sh*thole driving by.

... a great place to golf!…read more The course has come a long way in the past few years with the new owners. Alternate tee boxes, new car paths and better drainage to name a few. Definitely a place to come back and try again!

Husband & I ordered 2 doubles & asked bartender for menus. She said "oh the hostess can take care of that". Ok, we sat for 5 minutes... finally I turned to my husband & said "maybe WE have to go over & ask the hostess", who was at her podium, right behind us! Ok, now some progress. She asked if we were ok with a pub table in the bar area... "sure, no problem", we sat, she gave us our menus. We sat, and sat and sat and sat... finished our drinks... now that was at least 20 minutes to 30 minutes. NOT ONE waitress stopped at our table, or said "I will be right with you"... I was even holding up the Friday night menu... & one waitress looked right at me!! Meanwhile, 2 other waitress were standing next to the kitchen door chatting. We got up, my husband put our empty glasses on the bar...bartender said "thank you" & my husband replied "yea, and thanks for taking our order!" The bartender just gave him a stupified look & we left. We will not only NEVER return there, but we will tell EVERYONE we know what HORRIBLE service, miss management your restaurant has. Ended up going to "The Just Stop In".... world of a difference!!! Odered drinks, had order taken after one sip.... food delivered within 10-15 minutes... and it was AWESOME!!
