We were excited to go out bowling with friends. At first, it was fast and we were off to bowling. We ordered a large pizza and it took over an hour to get it, when we asked for either our money back or some discount because we were finished bowling by the time we received it, we were scoffed at and told we would not be welcome back as well as to give the pizza back. Would strongly not recommend solely based on interaction with management and lack of care for customer experience. read more

Went to bowl with some friends and was having a great time until the manager acted completely unreasonable. My friends ordered a large pizza and it took over and hour for the pizza to be finished. In fact, they didn't know the pizza was done until they went up and asked how much longer. After expressing some customer feedback on how it should not take that long to cook a frozen pizza, the manager took the pizza back and said they were not welcome there anymore. As we were waiting to pay to leave the manager said, "for your last visit your game is on us". How ridiculous. Don't give this place your money. They clearly cannot handle customer feedback, and are not willing to become a better business for the sake of theirs customers. They don't care. read more

I'll start with the positives. Very clean bowling ally, nice electronic systems, and good French fries lol. Negatives- Rude staff, owner only cares about league bowling so if you plan on going to just have some fun, don't expect any service. They won't let you come order food or drinks(they say they will come wait on you and never/rarely ever do) and then after a hour of waiting they make you feel like a bother for putting in another request to get food. This has happened on multiple occasions. They had 3 waitresses working on one night and not one waitress came down to ask if any of the bowlers that weren't league needed anything. I also had my ball re drilled there and I left it there for a couple days. I wanted to go bowling at a different ally so I called and asked if they could tell me if my ball was plugged or not. The guy on the phone gave a poor attitude and then said no balls were worked on, I show up an hour later to grab my ball sense they said it wasn't worked on which I live 35 mins away and the lady went back and said it was plugged and that nobody was there all day to work on bowling balls so the guy on the phone I'm guessing didn't care to look and just told me it wasn't done. I couldn't believe how rude he was. The owner is a hit or miss on certain nights. Some nights he's a very nice guy and other nights he has no patients. Only cares about league bowlers. I suggest if you are not in a league there, don't go. All the staff have poor attitudes and can't handle there job. My gf used to go there a lot and said the owner was a really nice guy but ever sense the two bowling ally's near there closed he has become very rude like he doesn't care if he gets business or not from people wanting to come have a good time. I gave them about 10 chances and 8/10 times it was unpleasant. I highly suggest going to The Valley Bowling Center in Waverly. All staff are very nice and they are very modernized. I was hoping crystal lanes was going to be my place for bowling because I usually do 2-3 times a week just for fun because it's closer to home but I would rather travel the extra distance to Valley Bowling Center for a more positive experience and a lot more amenities for no league bowlers. read more

Went to Crystal lanes for a game tonight with my son. They have a great deal 2 games with shoes for $9.95. We called made an appointment and had our lane waiting for us. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Planning a return trip soon. We felt safe and enjoyed our time there. read more

If I could give this place a zero, I would. I was born and raised in the area so I've been coming to this bowling alley as long as I can remember but I don't know what has happened in the last year or so. Management is incredibly rude and acts as if they are being inconvenienced when you need something. The food takes an unreasonably long amount of time to get to you for something they most likely have stocked in the back freezer and takes 4 minutes in a deep fryer. And then when you ask why it's taking so long, the few staff that's there get very defensive about your request, as if it's your fault you even thought to order food. You can see in the reviews below, I had a group of friends with me and it was most of their first times coming to the bowling alley - I was excited to show everybody where I had my birthday parties as a kid and have a good time. No way not again, I will happily take my service to the alleys in Waverly where I've heard great things about their customer service (but also because my friends were told they are not welcome back for the incredible reason of being slightly upset that their pizza took longer than 2 full games to get to them). The nicest employee here was the lady cleaning, and for her I give 5 stars. Unrelated to the service, my bowling shoes were falling apart on my feet and felt disgusting. Just very disappointed our night turned into my friends not being welcome back because they *KINDLY* inquired about their PIZZA. We laughed as we walked out. A word of caution - the address on the yelp page for this place does not take you to the venue. I am not from the area so it was difficult for me to locate exactly where it was. I think this is an above average bowling alley. I came here for a fundraising event for charity and was pleasantly surprised with the staff helpfulness and overall cleanliness of this bowling alley. Staff seemed happy to help which is a rarity when it comes to bowling allies. The seating around the bowling lanes seem to be newly finished. I like that the monitors display MPH stats. I would return if I was in the area. A nice facility in a sparse area. read more
