During a massage, $400 was stolen from my friend's purse by a staff member. While the massage was happening, people were coming in and out of the room. Her face was covered with a towel, and on the one occasion she managed to look up, the staff member deliberately positioned himself so that her view of her purse was blocked. When the security footage was reviewed, the police discovered that four minutes of the recording were mysteriously missing. I was present at the time and witnessed the entire incident, and to me it was very clear what had happened. The police have already taken the video and will be continuing their investigation. What really confirmed my suspicions was a comment made by one of the staff members when she called the police--he said, "the police can't do anything!" On top of that, he contradicted himself several times, which only made it even clearer what was going on. The staff were horribly rude, shady, and quite intimidating. Foot massage depends on who you get. The business has a sign that invites "walk-ins" so one day I did just that. It seemed to fluster them. They brought out some guy from the back room. He had no idea how to do a massage or anything related to reflexology. This was completely different experience that the time prior when I had an appointment. They do a really good job at this place. I am on my feet a lot at work, sometimes working 14 or more hours in one day. So needless to say my feet can get pretty sore. I come to this place to have them work on my feet with a good massage and I always feel better when I walk out the door. You can get 30 minutes for 30 dollars but for just 10 dollars more you can get a full hour and that is what I always do because it is such a great deal. If you choose the option of an hour long treatment you will also get more than just a foot massage. Here's how it works for the hour long treatment: You will sit down on a very comfortable chair (which will eventually end up being your foot rest when the actual foot massage starts) and the massage therapist will have you soak your feet in warm water while he massages your back, your neck, your arms, your hands and the top of your head. That will go on for about 20 minutes or so. After that you will be told to take your feet out of the water and sit in an easy chair with your feet resting on the chair that you were originally sitting in. The massage therapist will put a blanket on you and then begin the foot massage, spending about 20 minutes on each foot. He will use both his bare hands and hot stones. When the foot massage ends he will massage your legs for a couple of minutes and that completes the service. The place is kept very quiet outside of the soft music that they have playing in the background. If you prefer a full body massage instead of a foot massage they also provide that service there. They accept both cash and credit cards. They also have a loyalty program where they will give you a card that will be initialed every time you go there for a massage. After 10 visits you will receive an hour long foot massage. There is on the street parking and if you can't find a spot on the street to park in there is also a good sized municipal parking lot nearby (pretty much behind the place) where you can park for either 2 or 3 hours for free. Hidden gem right in Braintree. I stumbled upon this place after getting a mani and pedi across the street. I got a full body massage for an hour... one of the best massages I ever got. Upon walking in, the vibe's really low key and almost sketchy but I was greeted immediately. I initially just walked in to scope the prices and after seeing that an hour full body massage was only $60, I couldn't resist. I was taken to a room as soon as I made up my mind, was given a towel and instructed to undressed then lay face down. I'm pretty sure that my massage lasted over an hour but it was pure bliss. I unfortunately didn't get the name of the older gentleman that gave me the massage but he was very professional, made me feel super comfortable and knew exactly what he was doing. I almost wanted to give him a hug and kiss.... yes it was that good. Now, I've gone to many fancy spa's and paid double for less than what I received at this place. I had some unexpected time off and heard this place was good. Guy in the phone was nice. Called me about a half before my appointment and since I was on my way, took me early. It's clean, quiet inside (Wednesday afternoon). I didn't know the procedure of how to sit and where, so we had a giggle while they told me. My neck and shoulder was awesome. More of a foot and leg massage, as with true reflexology you need to be able to communicate your issues to get a real benefit, so I wasn't really expecting a real reflexology session. A co-worker told me about this wonderful business several years ago when they were located in Quincy. I followed them to their new address in Braintree. Everyone I've ever met there has been courteous, kind, and professional. Each massage therapist does a top-notch job of relaxing my muscles and eliminating stress to the point that I take little naps. You start by soaking her feet in a small barrel of warm water with a detox machine inside. While you sit on the foot rest, the message therapist works on your shoulders and back. You then move over to the big comfy chair while your feet continue to soak. The massage therapist works on your arms, hands, sinuses, scalp, and ears. Once your foot bath is complete, your feed are dried and wrapped in towels. The foot reflexology takes up most of the session. This is when I fall asleep. They work on your legs first, then every part of your foot. Near the end of the session, heated stones are used to increase circulation. They will stretch your arches, and push down on your thighs...just not at the same time. Compared to other places I've tried for reflexology, they are number one in value and massage. read more

I have been to the Braintree location twice for the reflexology massage and recommend it highly! The massage was relaxing but also therapeutic as they are very attentive to the stressed areas of the neck and back. The foot portion was so thorough and hit every possible pressure point. The massage is all business with little talking, other than to give direction when to lie down, so you can fully focus on the experience. The foot spa is brought out with a new liner each time, which I like to see for cleanliness. The chairs are plush and very comfortable with a semi transparent screen between them. It gives you a sense of privacy. Being the storefront is on Washington Street, the traffic noise can sometimes be distracting but not enough to interrupt the experience. The staff moves about quietly and even addressed people in the waiting area who decided to carry on a relatively loud conversation. I really appreciated that! I think the cost of $40 for the hour is a fabulous deal considering an hour massage at other places cost upwards of $80. I will be incorporating this into my weekly routine to wrap up the work week each Friday! A true release of stress and anxiety. read more

We went in after driving all day and got the foot soak and rubdown treatment. It's clean, cozy and warm, and the therapists don't pummel you like a slab of meat the way they do in a lot of similar businesses. My therapist did such a nice job smooshing my muscles and tending to my feet. Very accommodating services! I've gone here several times over the past few years and it's quite relaxing. They will give you neck and shoulder rubs as your feet are soaking. I do kind of wish there was a way to have them position you so you're not slouching while they're giving you the neck and shoulder massage but that's ok. I'll start by saying I've probably been to Crystal Foot 100 times. The place used to be amazing, especially pre detox machine when it was $30/hr. Currently, with the new ownership, it's just OK and fear it's heading south of "OK." There are more employees and overall, the quality is lower from all of them. They are nice enough people but when you're dealing with massage or haircuts...you're literally paying for the one person performing the service. The people--at this moment (I went about 3 weeks ago) are not nearly as good. I've experienced at least 3 of the new people. There used to be a stoicism to the experience I liked before. They literally played the same elevator music for about 3 straight years. I knew the soundtrack. Now, unfortunately I've had some experiences that are sub-par, and just unprofessional. The guy at the desk was playing a video on his phone. Another time they were airing out a smell and I had to ask them to shut the door because all I could hear was the traffic on Washington Street. That being said, the professionalism was never really there before either. Their "reservation" service is ridiculous and I don't think they even hold the reservations. You walk in and they ask "You make a reservation?" and if you say "yes," well, you're in. I love Crystal foot. I think my entire family is responsible for 30% of the business revenue. That being said, I hope they can make some improvements so I can continue going and filling up that punch-card. read more

I visited Crystal Foot Massage last Friday. It was a fantastic experience. First I started off with my feet in water and a full head and back massage. The head neck and shoulder, back massage lasted 30 minutes. He then proceeded to do the foot massage which was another 30. It was so relaxing. I don't think I ever had such a great massage for 40 dollars. I recommend giving them a hefty tip because for $40 dollars and the amount of work he put into it, was incredible. I was hesitant to go in at first. I have always been curious about reflexology. While it was a different massage experience for me, it was by far the best! I can not remember the last time I felt that relaxed during a massage (I get a massage once a month elsewhere ). To top it off I nearly fell over at the price! 40$ for an hour? You will not get a better bargain. If you don't mind the fact that you do not get a private room. Meaning you may have someone in the chair next to you. Same as you would during a pedicure, just a little more private with curtains separating you. I would absolutely recommend this place. Just tried out Crystal Foot massage and it is heaven, would definitely recommend. After a recent move to Braintree I didn't think I would find as good as a gem as Happy Feet Reflexology in Waltham (I would go there at least every other weekend) but am happily disappointed. Crystals massage therapist are great and respectful and I love the hot stones that they use at the end. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating is the fact that the waiting area is not separate from the massage area, meaning you will hear other patrons when they come in and if they are having conversations, for this reason I will try to keep my visits during the "non peak" times.
