I came here for a massage when I couldn't get into my regular massage therapist about a month ago. The space is a small-ish corner unit in a building with other businesses like a hair salon. There is a large parking lot in the back. You first walk in where there is a desk and a sitting area; and the room off to the side is where the massage takes place. The style and décor is a little eclectic to my taste and I don't think its a vibe everyone would love. Though, it is nice in its own way. Of note: she has foot wipes in the room for "flip-flop feet" and I couldn't believe my luck! My feet were so hot and sweaty and I was trying to figure out a way to wash them before the massage because I was so embarrassed. I had come from work and couldn't stop at home. These legit made my day haha! I asked for a deep tissue massage, as I am still currently healing from a shoulder injury. Admittedly, it was one of the most deep tissue massages I ever had, and pretty intense. Probably too intense for me, but I wasn't sure what to expect so I thought that's just how it was. However, I went for my physical therapy appointment after that and my therapist had never seen me so relaxed! In addition, it's been about a month and my physical therapist says my body has never reverted back to its previous state since that massage. In my case it was actually too much of a good thing because my muscles and joints weren't strong enough to be so relaxed, but I didn't know this at the time. Truthfully, I would have to come back for a less intense massage to be able to give a fair assessment because it was fairly painful and because I didn't know that I shouldn't have had that deep of a massage, had pain afterwards, but this wasn't her fault. She actually handled the situation super professionally. Theresa is truly a LOVELY person. You can tell she loves what she does, and took some time after the appointment to talk with me about my injury and some other strategies I could try at home. I really appreciated the extra time she spent with me. Overall, I will be sticking with my regular massage therapist but would keep Theresa in mind for the future. read more

She really listens to your needs and gave me a great massage and explained the areas of problem and how to fix them. She even gave me small tips to do at home to help also. I've been going to Theresa for a little more than 2 months. Her technique is well balanced. I do feel incredibly relaxed after each session.Sometime I want to go to sleep, but I do catch myself! She is most able with deep tissue massage, shiatsu, traction stretches. She does want to know of any sensitive areas so not to overwork them. Still good, still going. read more

I love, love, love Good Energy. Came for the yoga, stayed for the massage! The minute you walk into the studio, there is a wave of calm and serenity that just washes over you and sets the mood for the entire time. Theresa is the owner and really values her clients. She constantly asks for clients' input with regards to new classes or schedule changes. Her massages are amazing. I normally have weird hang ups about massage, but she just makes me feel so at ease that all of that goes away. Perfect amount of pressure and she takes her time. I I regularly go to her for Reiki treatments as well and feel amazing for days afterwards. She is also a wonderful resource for holistic and homoepathic advice. I stumbled upon Good Energy after seeing a Groupon, and all I can say is WOW I am SO incredibly happy that I purchased that groupon. I went in with bad stiffness/soreness in my upper back. After filling out the first time paperwork and discussing where I would like her to focus on, we went into the massage room. Theresa paid amazing attention to the specific areas that I had mentioned and managed to release a lot of the soreness. I was so relaxed during the massage, even as she worked her magic on the deep knots, that I was almost completely asleep. I already have a second appointment booked and I'm looking forward to her magic touch again. Her studio has a very warm and inviting feeling. Theresa is the best kept secret in Braintree for massages. Actually, she's not that much of a secret - she has a perfect review record! Absolutely amazing. I went to her on a whim for a birthday massage and immediately booked a second after she was done. I was scheduled for 60 min, but she went for 90 and didn't charge me extra. The only reason why the massage ended was because I had to pee so badly and I couldn't hold it for another second; otherwise she would have done some reflexology! I wish I could give Good Energy more than 5 stars. I'm really grateful that a neighbor recommended Theresa to me, after another neighbor had recommended Theresa to her. I don't think I've ever looked forward to anything more than my appointments with Theresa. I've been going to her for several years now, and I always leave feeling fantastic--like I've melted into a puddle of goo (in a good way!). She gets to know you and what your body needs very quickly, but always asks when you show up for your appointment what you are looking for that day--if anything specific is bothering you, if you want to focus on anything specific, etc. Even with a massage, she will stretch me or work in other types of therapy if she thinks it will help me feel better (but of course she'll first make sure I'm comfortable with it). I love the cozy, relaxed atmosphere she's able to create, at both her former studio and her current one. It's very soothing, especially with the music she selects, and always smells great. She also remembers what we talked about the last time I saw her; it's clear she really cares about her clients, and she's become a friend. She's very accommodating if I ever need to change my appointments... which, of course, I absolutely hate to do; I can never wait patiently for my next one!! read more
