A window company ran by the local community for the local community. I have been buying windows for my customers for years and I always enjoy buying windows from Crystal Windows because of my sales rep Paul Kim, Robert Dorsky & Howard Tai. They are always responsive, knowledgeable and courteous to say the least. Crystal Windows has always had my back when I needed warranty calls to be done. They are on time and professional. The after service Ryan Lin is the best with following up and keeping customers updated. It's always a treat to walk thru Crystal and seeing the owners Thomas & Steve working hand & hand with their staff as if this was a mom and pop operation (I believe they are a nation wide operations with multiple factories according to the pictures on the walls). It is rare to see a family owned and operated factory of this size & magnitude in the United States in todays business climate. Keep up the good fight Crystal Windows!!! read more

Ricky was knowledgable and knows his stuff. Service was fast and had no issues whatsoever. Thanks!

Great product. Poor customer service. The customer experience is marred by several critical issues. Firstly, poor communication plagues the company, characterized by a lack of clear and consistent messaging and frustrating delays in responsiveness. Secondly, there are instances of ineffective problem resolution, exemplified by a situation where my assigned salesman resigned, resulting in my expensive order slipping through the cracks. Consequently, my order arrived a staggering 30 days after my contractor had completed my window replacement, leading to inconsistencies and a profound sense of frustration as my expectations were not met. Lastly, the lack of personalization in the customer experience further exacerbated my dissatisfaction, as I did not feel valued or recognized as a valuable. There's more . One of the parts on one door (untouched since delivery) was defective. You only find that out AFTER installation of course. Crystal charged $75 for that. Even better, the rail that the door slides across is unstable. I'm seriously disappointed. What ever happened to quality? In addition to never doing business again, I will make sure that the homeowners in my development avoid the inconvenience, frustration and dissatisfaction I feel. read more

Crystal Window & Door Systems provided new windows for my apartment that had been smashed in by fire fighters. 3 years later, the seal has broken on them, moisture got in there and they are ruined. Same problem for my neighbors. The glazier who replaced them noted the glue seal was cheap and cost saving, and that patch work suggested someone knew there was a problem and did a poor job trying to fix it. When they were challenged on it, Crystal Windows refused to do anything, taking the position that the windows are out of warranty. I'm no lawyer and can't fairly comment on this part, but my understanding is that they are relying on a commercial property warranty rather than a residential warranty because it's an 81 unit coop in New York City. I don't think it should matter! The bottom line is Crystal Windows cut corners and provided cheap, crappy, defective replacement windows to people who had their homes lost in a fire and were trying to rebuild their lives, and then refused to take any responsibility for it. Do not recommend. read more

Fast easy ordering in their showroom... my agent Rodney gave me a great price for their top of the line double hung windows... Custom manufactured for my specs in two weeks.. these windows are as good as ridiculously priced Anderson windows, and i am so happy with my first three window or, i am ordering 5 more. read more

Beware!! I had a bad experience the second time around. The Sales representative, Max Kang was untrained, he ordered double windows when I specifically emailed exactly what I wanted and spoke with him several times. Because, I signed off on the quote, (which had a small 2 in the corner) they will not provide a refund. I even questioned the price, because it seemed so expensive but he just stated that is the price! Will never use this company again!! Your response is untrue the quantity was not stated several times on the quote it was stated several times on the purchase order which is after the fact, the quote should be as clear as the purchase order. I will never use your company again, I am using windorama! read more

Horrible. Need to reinstall house got colder than before. Total wate of time and money. No help on there end.

After so many years with their problem window, I think it's time to change to another window company with the new year. Just after a few years of installation back in 2001, their windows are all having condensation inside the glass and outside the frame. In the winter the windows drips water from condensation. so many years, it's time to wake up and smell the coffee. read more

When they installed a manufactured detective window the will not replace it with one you can open. If I close it completely I struggle to open it, so I placed a wooden board so it doesn't close completely. My heat goes out the slightly open window, what a waste of money. Don't use this unreliable company once the window is installed they don't care about you. read more

Order more than $3000 window from you guys nearly 2 month ago somewhere Nov 2020, was recommend by someone knows your manager. the pick up date suppose to be TOMORROW 1/21, NO NOTHING from your company, so I have to called like 10 times to find a rep. She told ME " MACHINE IS BROKEN, MAYBE DELAY MAYBE HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER " REALLY? SO THOSE 2 MONTH I WAS WAITTING FOR NOTHING????? OK. I WILL FIND THE MANGAGE NUMBER MYSELF and take a guess if I will ever recommend you guys to anyone. read more

In response to Crystal Window's 7/2/2018 reply below; This has nothing to do with the contractors who installed your windows in my home in 2001. It has everything to do with the substandard and cheap quality of your windows which have disintegrated within just a few years of its installation, consequently eating away at my home's value through lost money for cooling, heating, and poor aesthetics. I wish Yelp was around in 2001, I would have never chosen Crystal windows. If Crystal Windows is reading this, you need to vastly redesign, improve and deliver QUALITY windows (and customer service). People will happily pay more money to get quality! I would! read more

The representative who works in Parts/Repair department sounds miserable here. Placed an order 3 months ago and the representative who pick up the phone are son unprofessional. When the representative from the Parts/Repair department picks up the phone he does not greet you at all. He puts you on hold without saying anything and hangs up without saying anything. I didn't know they hired a mute to pick up phone calls. No apologies for the delay and no communication regarding my delivery. I would not recommend this place to anyone if you still have self-dignity. If I were the representative, I wouldn't want my family members to be treated the same disrespectful way he treats customers. If you don't like your job then quit or find another job. Customer service is not for everyone. Maybe take a class or two on how to communicate on the phone. It helps. read more

I purchased Crystal's slider windows and had them installed by Precious Windows. They did a phenomenal job. They were timely, professional, and courteous. I love the way my new windows look. I live in CT and even on days where it's below freezing out, I never feel any cold air by my windows. I highly recommend using Precious Windows and Crystal Windows! read more

My friends referred me to Crystal Windows as I was looking for a small window for my bathroom. There was no one in the showroom except for my wife and I and 3 employees working behind sneeze guard windows. One of the employees directed us to the two rows of window samples on the first floor and she said that is all they have. She told us that one isle are aluminum windows and the other are vinyl. We liked one style so we took a picture of it and any identifying information she would need to locate it in their computer system. When we asked her for a price she asked us for the size of the floor sample window. I responded that the pic. has any model number or identifying numbers she needs. She didn't respond right away so I did see tape measures on the table behind them so I asked her can I borrow a tape measure? She gave me the tape measure and I'm not sure why i stayed and measured the damn thing. She gave us a printed price and we walked out. Not a good practice to have the customers figure out what the size of a floor model window is. I thought a salesperson was supposed to sell you something. She sold us a trip to Home Depot across the street!!! read more

We had two windows installed and Crystal was right there with very prompt customer service to tweak any issues. Now we are enjoying our warm and cozy kitchen. read more

We are a commercial fenestration contractor and have been doing business with Crystal for almost 30 years. They have an extremely comprehensive line, ranging from residential to heavy commercial, vinyl and aluminum. Quality control is on point. Sales staff is very knowledgeable. They are a company that is constantly improving. Never satisfied to merely coast. They are always looking to bring the highest quality product to our projects at a price that keeps us on budget. We are very satisfied with this Company and look forward to doing business with them for many years to come. read more

SO- My mistake. I should have gone with the window guys that did my husbands house. the windows themselves were ok. They gave me an installer in the bronx. They said the order would take approximately 8 weeks. it was 6 weeks. Then the installer wanted to store them in my garage until we could be here for the installation. - We could not. He did the installation with on other individual. and - I am STILL waiting for him to fix one window. There isn't a window without a scratch or scuff or in need of a touch up paint. He left dust dirt and the stickers all over the inside and outside the house. I will say my husbands team of window guys came with a team one to pull out one to install another to clean then another to clean window. Spend the money and get the right people to do the job. read more

Ok windows, if you get their upgraded models..Customer service is another issue..They quote different prices to everyone..whether through their showroom or through their independent sales-people throughout NYC.. As with many other Chinese businesses, where this Chinese-owned business fails most, is with customer service issues. Customer service is non-existent to them, once they take your $$$$. read more

I went to Faithful windows in Flushing College Points Blvd and purchased Crystal windows and had all my 2nd floor windows replaced in 2007. The contractor did a horrible job, not well aligned, poor insulation and after 4 years the windows started showing mold and condensation inside the glass and outside the frame. In the winter the windows drips water from condensation. Some windows cannot even be locked or open/close properly now. Im very dissatisfied and disappointed with this brand. I'm seriously thinking about replacing them now with a better quality ones. Please save you money and get a more reputable brand. Crystal windows are cheaply made. read more

I am a new customer here, well, my first visit was horrible. When I steped into the lobby, there was a extremely unpleasant smell, hell know that feeling... the people told me bcuz their restroom had the leaking problem, so I left. I came back after 3 days to place my order, when I tried to use the restroom, believe me, you will never ever want to know how disgusting inside, the same smell. Is this the way how they welcome their customer?? no one cares it?? It really ruined my day, I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN!! read more

Don't bother with this company. Cheaply made windows, you can't get customer service when they break. Pay a little more and get Anderson windows. They have the best customer service! read more

Absolutely terrible looking windows. The windows were very roughly made. The windows I got are far cries from the ones I saw in their showroom. Adding insult to the injury, Crystal recommended 'NY Windows Guys Inc', a.k.a Tony Windowguy on the FB to perform the installation, and the guy was a complete scoundrel. He installed the brand new window right on top my old window frame, so now I ended up with a bird-sized window with super thick frames. And he didn't even finish the installation. Crystal offered to help after I wrote a review about the abysmal services I received from this 'Tony Windowguy', so the guy showed up and told me that he can fix them for me, but don't call him if the windows start to leak. I showed him the door. Crystal is cheap for a reason. For a large investment like windows replacement, go with someone reputable. I'm replacing all mine with Marvin Windows. read more

I have these windows in my home. They are horrible. Every window has so much draft coming through them, they have dried up gas stains on the inside, and condensation is forming on the inside. You're better off with a different company, and I'm changing all the windows out slowly. Complete waste of money and absolute JUNK windows. read more

Love their windows and excellent service! I recently bought a bunch of windows (19 windows, 1 garden window, 1 bay window, and sliding door) from them and man what a difference in quality!!!!!!!! I literally had to turn down my heat because it retained the heat so well! If you need new windows definitely check them out! You won't regret it! read more

The worst! The customer service it terrible. They made many errors which has delayed construction several weeks. They also delivered windows 3 hrs late and said that they would put the windows on the side of the home and instead they placed the windows on the curb and people thought they were for free and tried to take them. They are absolutely awful. The receptionist is NO help. She transfers the calls without saying a word to you and when i asked her to stop transferring me without speaking to me first she yelled at me. They are HORRRRRRRRRIBLE! GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR WINDOWS!!!! read more

I live in the Chicagoland suburbs and when I bought my house years ago I was referred by someone and that was the worst thing ever. After only a few years all the windows I spent thousands on have deteriorated with moisture/fog in between the window panes, rubber seals breaking apart between the glass and just very inferior product. I had referred my parents to them shortly after regrettably going with their company and after only 4-5 years their very expensive large living room bow windows were completely falling apart with the same issues. And when they were notified of these absolutely poor substandard windows they just told us warranty expired and would not even consider stopping by to make some kind of compromise. AWFUL customer service and the worst window company possible. NEVER do business with this lousy place and their awful crap product. I literally had to spend thousands more over the last several years and bought windows from JELD-Wen and replaced them myself throughout my entire house. DO NOT ever consider this garbage firm, read more

Zero stars if I could. Worst customer service you will encounter. The sales representatives are rude, rude, rude and can't be bothered to answer questions even after waiting my turn for help. I paid in full, and get this, Crystal Windows charging me an additional 2% fee, if I use my credit card. So they pass that fee on to us, the customers. Ridiculous coming from a huge window company, they pay no fee, charge tax on credit cards and on cash,( which is fine, but whats with the fee?) then they said if I pay cash they will give me a small discount. Who carries $4000 cash in their pockets upon walking in to their showroom?? I regret ordering from them, now I'm on edge hoping my windows are to my satisfaction when they arrive. Stay away from this place it is not worth it, plenty of other window companies who would gladly take your business, until they change the nasty reps behind the desk stay away! read more

DO NOT BUY THEIR WINDOWS! This is THE WORST window manufacturer in the world. The windows are cheaply made and break down. Their customer service will ignore you, they violate their own warranty, and if you accept the replacement window option, you have to pay to reinstall them AND to have the windows shipped to you. DO NOT BUY THEIR WINDOWS! read more

I purchased Crystal 200 series windows for my house and the quality was good, the price was excellent and sales representatives at the showroom were very helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend Crystal to friends and family. read more

Thought were going to get a great product with the warranty that they offered which was similar to competitor windows. However, as good as they were initially 2-3 of them developed fogging issues. Warranty magically disappeared. It took forever to get replacements and when quoted for shipping costs got one price and then quote double after being forever delayed. Decided was best to go another route. Buyer beware is all I can say. Terrible company to deal with. Never thought I would be giving such a review. read more

Crystal windows and doors Came through for us and our family when we were opening our small business. I went in to their office today about a problem I was having with one of my windows (installed in 2002). I explained the issue to Jamie and asked about having someone come to my house to fix it. She took the time to show me what the problem was and told me how I could try to fix it myself. I'm not at all handy so I had several questions, which she patiently answered. I went home and followed her instructions and I was able to get the window working again. Thanks Jamie, you saved me a service charge! read more

These are the worst windows ever!!!! 6 months after having them, I had 6 windows crack. Got the glass replaced under the warranty, which was a hassle. They all have drafts as well. You can see the gaps. Now I have more glass that is cracked/shattered. I am currently up to 8 windows that are broken..... Lasi night I was sitting in my living room and it sounded like a rock was thrown through my window. NOPE, it was the inside pane of one of the windows shattering glass all over!!!!
