Exterior Detail

Excellent work by John! I'm very particular about my vehicle. He was highly responsive, detailed oriented, and you can tell he takes pride in his work! We opted for a 1 year ceramic coating on top of the interior and exterior detail. I will definitely be coming back in the future. Couldn't be more pleased. Thank you John!

Insanely good job. I work in the oilfield so my truck gets filthy but it looks brand new now. Thanks John!

Got it back after a few short days and will be getting some further work done as time goes on. This truck had belonged to my former landlord whereupon his daughter sold it to me as the old boy had gone to a retirement facility. In his later years maintenance and repairs had been let go but being sturdy and strong running, I bought it and am slowly bringing it up to snuff and it is good in the event I should need to do any long distance traveling with it. . Attended the new shop opening, located just off I-25 and Colorado route 66, where I met Mr. Maggio's family and some of the other customers who call Hands On Autotech their home for vehicle repair and servicing. I first went there based on the recommendation of the Martino troubleshooter show on 630 KHOW AM radio; 10 AM - 2PM, M-F. My opinion is that Tom's shop takes something of a scientific approach to vehicle repair and will go more in depth with an analyses than another shop I had been to for an issue with my '99 Tahoe. As an EV owner himself I gather that Tom is up on the current tech, perhaps more than some other places who would have men of my age (68) from the "dinosaur era" of automotive tech working at their shops.

There was a problem with the communication surrounding the tow transfer so I started my experience with Hands on Auto Tech with some trepidation. Tom handled the situation and we moved onto the real problem with my truck. The diagnosis was the clutch so I approved the repair and waited a few days for the parts to arrive and the repair to proceed. After the clutch was replaced another problem with the operation of the clutch was discovered so I agreed to the additional repair and another day for repair. After a week I was reunited with my truck. The repair was costly, lengthy and unexpected but coming out the other side of this experience I learned a couple of lessons. 1. If you have your vehicle towed to a shop follow the tow truck to the shop and verify the transfer. 2. Communication and follow up throughout the repair are key Tom was great to deal with and I feel that he was honest with me about the repairs needed and the cost of those repairs. Having recently moved to the area I feel my vehicle maintenance and repair needs can be checked off the list. I can recommend Hands on Auto Tech to anyone needing an honest repair facility and Tom as a good guy to deal with.

Honest mechanics and garages are becoming a rare thing these days - sad but true. These guys have…read morebuilt a solid reputation for their honesty and integrity, and also their KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY to work on today's computerized, fuel injected vehicles. For this reason, they will always get my business unless it is absolutely necessary to go to the Ford dealer (in which case I only recommend Sil-Terhar in Broomfield). My F150 recently needed a new battery, and at the time the old one died for the last time, my heater stopped working. They could have told me that I needed a new heater core, new heat/ac blender actuator, or blender door (all ranging from $250-$400 in repairs). Instead, they took the time to troubleshoot, and only needed to reset the HVAC module - less than an hour's worth of labor and no parts. What's more, they contacted me mid-day (same day) to let me know that it was ready to be picked up. Many other garages would have torn my dashboard apart and gone the wrong way with troubleshooting this. I don't have enough words to express my gratitude for their professionalism!

Even give options of what needs.to be done 1st etc. if you have to take it in bits. Worked with payment plan! Thank you both for everything you did for me & taking care of my Son's van at the worst time in my life. I will never forget your compassion. Their pricing is comparable to other shops, but I believe they care more & truly want to build their clientele with integrity & honesty. sending a friend your way who needs some truck work done. This is a review about Grease Diva Garage in Frederick, Colorado…read more Shawn, the mechanic, made a mistake diagnosing the issue with the worrisome grinding noise in the area of both of the front wheels of my Tacoma. He replaced parts of the suspension system. As I drove out of the garage, the noise was still there. His response was that he still was glad to have replaced parts of the suspension on the front wheels, that they needed it anyway. Other than this serious issue, Shawn displayed a bad temper, rudeness, and condescension. I had to finally tell him to stop his bad behavior otherwise I was leaving. I wrote a negative review on Google and Jennifer, his wife and owner of the shop, emailed me many times to try to force me to take down the review. She was relentless and threatening. UPDATE: The owner just changed the name of the business/garage on Yelp to Great Cars are us. If you google it, it doesn't exist, it is a made up name. They also gave an address that belongs to a house for sale in Wheat Ridge, CO, unrelated to the garage, and a false phone number. That served to disable the search for the garage on Yelp. In the answer to my review there is a mention of the police being called to remove me, but that didn't happen ( isn't it a bit extreme to invent a story like this just because you are unhappy with a negative review? ). The mechanic's name is Shawn and his wife is Jennifer, I have never met a Rebecca, it is likely that she is a fabrication. Welcome to the Twilight zone... They will go to great length to crush a person who expresses their dissatisfaction with their work and services. I am blown away with what happened. Well, I did what I had to do and reported Grease Diva Garage. Fellow consumers, now you decide if this garage is what you are looking for. UPDATE #2: I reached out to Yelp to let them know about the fictitious information. Now the info is restored, hopefully permanently. As far as the false statement about being removed from the garage, I am working with a lawyer and the police department of Frederick.

Horrible!!! Used…read morethem for possibly 5 yrs servicing 4 different cars. They are good at general mechanics. But complex, No!!! Here are 4 situations that made me see new mechanics: 1.) 8 yrs ago, I overheated the engine and cracked the block on my 1984 Landcruiser. They rebuilt the engine, for about $8,000.00. While in the process, Tim claimed the bottom did not need rebuilding. So they closed up the engine. But I was now burning oil. 2 Qts/ 500 miles. They refused to fix the problem. Tim blamed that I told them to not rebuild the bottom end of the engine. (Ask him about it!) 2.) Just last month, Feb 2026, the catalytic converter on my Landcruiser started to fail. They installed that about 6yrs ago, for about $1,200.00. 3.) 2006 V70,Volvo had a small radiator leak. I brought it in each of the 2 times the Low Level light went on. Each time, they could not find the leak. The 3rd time I brought it in was because the radiator blew and the car overheated. I told them to check that I had not cracked the block before repairing the radiator. They repaired the radiator first., about $1,200.00. Then determined the block was cracked. (Rebuild by Swedish Motors was $6,000.00.) 4.) 2009 S80 Volvo. Had them look at this car to see if it was safe to buy, for my 17yr old daughter. The results of their inspection was "it's in great shape". 1 yr later the transmission went. And I found out that this was the one yr Volvo used a Ford impala transmission. No replacement parts, used or rebuilt transmissions were available, per Swedish Motors. I had to scrap the car. When I confronted Tim and Tyler that they should have known this about this model they said that was something I should have known about the car. NOTE: These guys do not deserve those big stickers on their front window that say Toyota and Volvo. Call me .... Dave Longmont, Co 720-745-9460

After…read morethe diagnosis, I was told it was a misfire and they would have to change spark plugs and swap the ignition switch wiring, and all would be fixed. I was charged $1042.91 and the engine light is still on, and no one seems to know what the problem really is! Labor alone was $788.58. The mechanic mentioned they might have to do deep dive and could cost me thousands more. The Jeep has 72500 miles on it. I fully expected my car to be repaired, and it's not, and Autosport has really no clue what is wrong. I have heard great things about them, but this is not right.
