It was our first time there and we were both completely enamored with the displays of beautiful artery of shrimp, crabs, fish and some aquatic plants. Since we were looking to add to an existing tank, we inquired about different shrimps to see which ones would be most suitable tank mates to our current residents. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and they helped us with the selection. We also picked it some driftwood and moss to add to the tank for the shrimp. Looking forward to returning once they get the pea puffers in which you can place your name on a waiting list online for in stock notification. SF is a nifty little shop and we'll likely be back for more additions soon.

It's a little hard to find, was hoping there would be a more obvious sign or some sort of color to stand out more. We were welcomed right when we walked in and they were very informative and told us about their deals. The shrimp are really tiny!, If some of them didn't pile up on each other i would not have seen them. They have a big range of different colors and sizes too. They also sell those little cute fish that cling onto the sides of the wall or other tiny fish. The cray fish really caught my eye. They're about the size of a cookie, really pretty. They even have blue ones! The man that is working there can answer any of your questions with ease and would tell us some facts we didn't know about the care, sizes and life span. Would definitely recommend checking it out!

The aquatic plants are cheap and the fish prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place .

The Canadian Waters gallery, where you can marvel at local species like bass and cod that you could have easily seen for free at a dock. The Rainbow Reef is a colorful display almost convincing us that tropical fish enjoy living inside a landlocked concrete prison. The "Dangerous Lagoon," featuring North America's longest moving walkway, which ensures you move past the sharks at a strictly controlled pace so you don't linger too long...it was crazy crowded here on Labour Day weekend! You'll spend most of that shark tunnel journey dodging hundreds of people trying to take the exact same blue-lit selfie for Instagram and Tik tok. The Discovery Centre: kids get the thrill of dipping their hands into a touch pool to harass and molest unsuspecting stingrays and horseshoe crabs. Somewhere in the middle, you'll encounter an exhibit showing off the aquarium's water filtration system, because nothing screams "fun family outing" like staring at industrial pipes and plumbing. After fighting through dense crowds and aggressive strollers(Labour Day Weekend, avoid!), you are artfully funneled straight into the gift shop to buy a $40 plush shark as a prize for your survival. Ultimately, it's a brilliant attraction where you can spend an hour stepping on people's heels while realizing the fish are having a much more relaxing day than you are. At least Covid is over...great variety of sea life to learn about and adore. All the glass sealife prison cells appeared to be well maintained and clean. This place is 2 or 3 Stars when visiting on Labour Day weekend...but I imagine its a 5 Star experience on a quiet weekday when all the loud misbehaved children are back in school, and the terrible parents are back in their soulless day jobs. If you're a tourist like me, buy the CityPass to save money.

I feel like it's more geared towards family with young kids and tourists from out of town. I feel like it's something you could visit once compared to anyone with kids or frequently have guests from out of town a lot.
