It seems like at the time I was here they'd just opened an expanded portion of their store, where they have some toys and things for older children--toddlers and up. You'll find lots of clothes, blankets, and books, as well as a couple wagons, strollers, and car seats. The owner is a midwife as well so you might avail yourself of services, too. I bought a couple of onesies that are magnetized. I keep hearing "no snaps!!" (but like EVERY PIECE of baby clothing has snaps...), so these were intriguing. They have a magnets along the flap as the closure mechanism so I bought a couple in the 6-9 month and above size to try them out. I have high hopes!

Not sure what happened but my friend said they packed the wrong size of ruffle butt when they got the outfit. I went to exchange but they no longer had the size we needed. Still, the store associate was very helpful and helped us pick out another outfit that fit the same vibe.

I feel bad for the owner, that this is how their store is being represented to the public. The worst customer service I've ever seen and that is their main job working at a retail store. I'm actually relieved to see other negative reviews here about similar situations because I now know that they weren't specifically targeting me and this is just their norm-- consistently rude. I will Never shop here again.

One of the things I love is how the stylists make you feel when you go in. This isn't a stuffy place. The stylists (note that I didn't say "sales staff"?) are helpful, thoughtful, have a good eye to what looks good on you, and won't sell you something that doesn't. These qualities make for a great shopping experience. Looking for accessories to add to your new outfit? They carry beautiful jewelry and shoes, too! The welcoming atmosphere at blonde is ideal, especially for moms on-the-go that need efficiency and ease, which is exactly what blonde boutique delivers. They keep you looking stylish, but in an effortless way. PLUS, the store is kid friendly, so when you have the little ones in tow, you know they will be comfortable and engaged while you shop. It's a must-go!

You sign up, pay a fee for price tags and drop off the goods. You can get a higher percentage of earnings if you volunteer to help or you can be a slug like me and get 65% of your sales by sitting at home and drinking a few beers the night of the sale. This organization is very particular about what merchandise they take (Thank God!). They only take name brands and no Target, Kmart or Walmart stuff. It all has to be in good shape and gets inspected when you drop off your goods. They take only children's clothes as well as baby gear. I was a little surprised when I found out the night before the sale that you needed an appointment to drop off your goods. I have to confess that I was a bit overwhelmed by the information packet I received and I must have skimmed through that section. You need to have the clothes on hangers and that presented a challenge since I had about 18 pairs of boys' shorts. One of the coordinators was more than happy to give me some hangers to use and for that I am grateful. I've participated in lots of these over the years. This was the most organized sale I've been in. Even the payment process was very efficient. At other sales it takes weeks to find out how your sales went (I always donate the non-sale items so I don't have to pick up) and then it took a few more weeks to get a check. Trendy Tots sent me an email a few days after the sale telling me the amount I sold and my cut of it and I just got the check in the mail! Check out their sale in the fall!

But honestly, it's worth just coming and at least looking around :) Michael is also the owner and is always the cashier and he's so pleasant. Very informative about all of the products there, especially because he owns the makeup line!!! I will say there is no photography allowed inside and it is a pretty quiet store with lots of trinkets and decorations everywhere, even in the ceiling and on the floor. Doesn't bother me at all but might be hard if you have young kids cause there's a ton of shiny things to grab kinda low to the ground. This place is awesome! :)
