It's drive thru car wash . I hate washing my car I can never get the roof of my car unless I get a small ladder. Easiest way is go thru a car wash. I highly recommend to get the monthly membership. If you thru it an feel like it didn't wash well you can go back till your car is clean. But if you don't have the membership you can not do that . It's $29.99 a month to get the works it's worth it . I always take my car thru twice in one visit , it tends not to wash well the first round. Vacuum is included an their vacuum is pretty good. If you don't get the membership then I don't recommend this place it doesn't do it's job the first round . But if you get the membership then it's so worth it. My monthly pass sticker on my windshield enables me to use a different lane than the people who pay for each individual wash. There is a sensor that scans my pass and keeps me moving faster than everybody who has to interact with the staff. I visited THIS Cruz Thru location with my mom in her Escalade. She paid for a single wash and we went through the car wash together, watching the rainbow colored soap foam bubble down her windshield. This Cruz Thru Express location, on the Southeast corner of Panama Lane & Wible Road, next to the Rite Aid, is very convenient to the 99 Freeway, which is where we headed right after the car wash. We didn't realize, till mom tried to merge into traffic, that the driver's side mirror had popped inward and was not allowing us to see the traffic. I don't know if this happens to a lot of cars at this location, or if it's because my mom has a big SUV, but you've been forewarned. Rating 4 stars because I specifically paid extra to have my Lexus waxed today, but the machine didn't even lower itself enough to touch my car at all. Perhaps it's at a setting that fits taller cars? Nice location. Bigger than the other branches I have been to. Lots of vacuums available. I find it very convenient to go to any of the Cruz Thru Express locations. Car comes out clean most of the time. If it is not clean enough, then I just drive through again for another wash at no charge. Prices are reasonable. Very Poor! I have gone to Cruz Thru Car Washes up and down the state and this may have to be the poorest! Elsewhere, I normally am given a detailing rag, wet cloths to clean my dash and interior, and a trash bag & air freshener, which I had to ask for here. To make matters worse, half the brushes weren't working and the whole system would shut down halfway through the wash. I can confidently say I will not be returning! read more

I was just offered the lava car wash for $14. I went with the basic wash for $11. As I was driving through the car wash - or cruising through the car wash - I noticed that none of the lava photo equipment was even in place. Question; why would they offer the lava car wash for $14? Also it used to be that you had several attendance kind of scrubbing your car as it was initially going into the process. That's gone. Also, it used to be that all of the spinning turbines that clean your vehicle were cloth. Now they are plastic, slapping your car, incrrasing the potential of scratching, as dirt will inevitably adhere to the plastic strings. They are charging the same amount of money, but giving you a third of what they used to provide in service!!!!And absolute joke. Wow. I love this place! If there were any of these by my house in Orange County I would join their membership program! I just got the basic $9, quick to drive through. They have a cool Lava theme going on and I guess they take a picture that you can download online. When you drive out, there are tons of free vacuum spots where you can vacuum out your car and listen to the fun, upbeat tunes they play over the speakers. The attendant was very nice and helpful. Their monthly membership is $30 a month per vehicle and includes unlimited washes, plus access to the free vacuums and you get to use the short like and cut all the people who are just doing one time washes. Great deal to me, like I said, my only complaint is that they haven't expanded to where I live yet! read more

This place is a joke !! They not only did a terrible job on my car but .. they scratched the fender!! The manager said he will look at video.. if they could see scratches before I went in it was already there if they couldn't see it they would cover it. They looked at video said there was a glare and they couldn't see scratches but still wouldn't take responsibility!!! So lied to car scratched and a terrible wash!! What a joke !! I've been washing my cars there for awhile and it's been great. Just recently they put new system in the drive thru and it ended up scratching the sides and front of my brand new truck that I got couple months ago. I don't recommend this place if you have a brand new vehicle. Disappointed and never going back there again. read more

This place should be called lose my eleven dollars thru....we have been cruz thru members for both our vehicles in the palmdale location until we moved out of the area and we're happy to see one in Bakersfield when we had to take care of some business there, so we pull up and I gave room as a normal common courtesy person would but was flagged to get closer to the car in front of me like really I like my front bumper bump free now to the crappy wash there was no soap just water and the brushes finally get thru and park to wipe down my car to see my car still dirty and I thought I paid 11.00 to have my undercarriage washed not look the same as I drove it in. This is not what we are used to with the Palmdale location so I go talk to the manager and he did not even bother to come look at my car or offer to run thru again not even a common courtesy I am sorry just a blow off thank you ma'am so the one star is only because I had to choose one but never again will I come to this place I would probably get a better wash at the gas station. read more

First of all there was a huge long line and not even space to contain that many cars. The side brushes didn't even touch my truck. The polisher portion, I paid extra for, didn't even spin. But yet they're still charging for the Lava Cruz. The picture thing counted down when I was already through it. This location always has friendly associates. I am always greeted with a smile and a serving attitude. It is convenient to where I live and my car always sparkles after a good Lava wash. I think it's buy 5 get 5 free or something like that. They are located throughout Bakersfield so they are easily accessible. Always packed. The line can sometimes go into the rite aid parking lot which is kind of a hazard. The staff is usually very kind even though I'm an idiot and have trouble driving my car onto the rail sometimes (I always dread having to do that, oh well I admit I'm not the best driver) On one occasion I went and had trouble with that and the two staff members that were there assisting laughed at me like it was the thing to do instead of maybe guiding me.. last time I ever went to get my car wash there. Okay, so I LOVE the Cruz-thru concept. You can't beat a cheap carwash. I've been going here for 2 years (not particularly this location) and have had a good experience. However, I started noticing that the paint on my car was getting chipped, but didn't think much of it. Then, I took my newly bought car into this location. When I got out of my car I noticed some dents on the side of my car! I don't know how that happened but it was along the drivers side and the passengers side. Like a straight line. I talked to the manager and he of course denied it and simply said, "You get that from a shopping cart, not from our wash!" How is that even possible when I haven't even gone to the grocery store. After, this experience, I've shared with some of my friends and my mom's friends who have also heard stories about Cruz-thru damaging cars. So if you go, go at your own risk. Wash may be cheap, but to get a dent or scratch is not worth it. read more
