They did not try to sway us in one way or another, just provided the facts. Each of our truck repairs was completed with great communication and providing information. I felt assured we were making informed choices and I was provided updates every step of the way. We will certainly utilize Auto Connection in the future.

I brought my vehicle in to have the driver's side door window installed. I had already supplied the…read morereplacement window. During the repair, I was told that the window regulator was broken. I do not believe that conclusion was adequately supported. The original window had been shattered, but the regulator itself appeared intact. There are also repair instructions available for this model showing that proper access to the regulator requires removal of the exterior door panel. My concern is that the repair was being attempted without removing that panel. I personally observed the work being carried out this way. I tried to explain the procedure I understood to be required, but my information was dismissed rather than considered. With an uncommon vehicle such as this, it is entirely possible for an owner who has researched the repair to have useful information about the procedure. I would have appreciated a more collaborative approach, particularly before concluding that an additional component was defective. The interaction with the technician also became unnecessarily dismissive. I was left with the impression that the focus had shifted from determining how the repair could be completed properly to defending the original assessment. Ultimately, I had to drive home in the rain with the driver's window completely missing and the replacement glass sitting loose in the passenger area. I was particularly concerned about the safety of transporting a large piece of glass in that manner, especially in the event of a collision. My concern is not simply that the repair was unsuccessful. Repairs do not always go as planned. My concern is that I observed an attempt to complete the repair without removing the panel necessary to properly access the regulator, while the information I provided about the procedure was dismissed. I believe the situation could have been handled much more professionally by reconsidering the repair procedure, verifying whether the regulator was actually defective, and ensuring the vehicle was left in a safe condition before I departed.

He said they had forgotten to let the coolant settle.... so he sent a guy to fill it up.. very disappointing. Later that day the head gaskets blew! So after they blew he fixed the head gaskets again like any mechanic should, but now my engine's oil light flashes after the car is at running temp. I never had this issue before the head gaskets blew and he knows that, took it back in and told him about it and he never fixed it, told me it was good to drive... I initially brought my car to Canadian Tire and needless to say that was a huge mistake and a…read morenightmare for me personally; after 2 days, $500, 4 new spark plugs, and me being stranded on the highway (after them saying it was fixed), they still had no idea. Now to the good part...Idylwyld Auto Service/ Joanne and Steve. Not only were they able to get me in quickly, they were courteous, had great communication throughout and were soon were able to diagnose and fix the engine problem in less than 24 hours at a reasonable cost. Overall, Joanne and Steve are so amazing; once I got it to them my stress levels came way down. I'm definitely going back to them in the future if I have any other issues and I HIGHLY recommend them if you have car issues. They're honest, don't overcharge and very patient (as I was late picking up my car). Seriously. THE BEST!

I have had to deal with Wheaton GMC quite a few times now and every time I have been extremely…read moredisappointed with their service. I'm writing this review today because they have yet again failed to provide anything close to good service. After getting a recall notice for my car, I booked an appointment online with them specifically stating the reason as this particular recall. Once I arrived for my appointment they informed me that they didn't order the part for this recall and it would be another 10-12 business days. I hadn't heard from them for 10-12 business days so I called again to check the status of the order. They informed me it was on it's way and should arrive in the next week. I again did not hear back from them that week so I called AGAIN and was informed that the part hadn't even been ordered. During this time (over a month), I have not been able to have anyone in the passenger seat of my vehicle due to the potential risk from this recall. I am extremely disappointed in the service at this place of business and would not recommended it to anyone. UPDATE: After receiving my complaints, GM was very responsive and made sure my part was in within 2 days. They definitely made the effort to improve their customer service and I really appreciate their initiative.
