Just a short walk from my air b n b, Bruno's was a perfect fit. Located in shared warehouse style building, the concept is simplicity. I heard a rumor that Bruno's used to be a brewery. In my opinion, a coffee house is always the better option anyway. There is a cool exterior mural at the back entry overlooking the Fargo water-tower and plenty of shared parking and both interior and exterior seating. It Inside, there were plenty of remote workers and patrons sharing conversations and typing on laptops. There is a small refrigerator section to grab and go waters, sodas, etc. as well as an onsite see through bakery where one can witness all the baked goods being freshly baked, pressed, mixed and decorated. The drink menu is very simple with all the normal caffeinated and non caffeinated options from coffee to tea. All of the syrups are made in house. I opted for an iced pistachio latte. It was delightful! Inside Bruno's there is also a nice remote working area which appears to be a monthly fee, however, your first visit is complimentary. I felt this was a nice touch especially since so many people visiting coffee shops these days are working remotely. I look forward to returning again this week and trying a lovely dessert pastry. I'm rating it a 4 only because I don't get the full coffee house energy due to it being inside a larger building with other shops. Contrary, the Thunder Coffee area is very spacious, sterile and has a nice long bar to order and wait for your items. I opted for one of the seasonal specials labeled Fallen Alley. It was an orange flavored latte with some cold foam on top. Certainly sweet and not something I would order on the regular, however it's fun to treat yourself once in a while. The staff was friendly and made my drink in a timely manner. There are a few specific Thunder Coffee tables but the beauty of being in Brewhalla is that you can sit anywhere on the 2 story levels or go outside. Lots of versatility. I appreciate the unique flavors to which you can add to any item. The ones that stuck out to me included banana bread, root beer, and gochujang caramel. There is also a light breakfast menu with items ranging from oatmeal to breakfast sandwiches. Perhaps I will dabble with the food on my next visit. Thank you, Thunder Coffee!

They take time making your coffee, carefully crafted and made deliciously. But it doesnt take a long wait. Only a good 5 minutes and it is done. I ordered one of their Seasonal Drinks, the Elmer Fudd. A hint of carrot mixed in with a taste of maple cinnamon. Was not overloaded with sugar. More coffee than ice, which felt worth the $7 price. Overall, I definitely recommend. This location has a drive thru so next time I will definitely come through here but from the looks only 2 cars can fit in the drive thru without causing any traffic.

The drink quality here was great: 100% fresh watermelon slush: (no syrups) was absolutely delicious and exactly what I needed on a hot day without being that fake watermelon flavor that comes from the syrup. It was very refreshing and came in a huge cup for such a reasonable price. Thai Tea: This is one of the best Thai teas I've had in Fargo, uses real Thai tea leaves with sweetener and has a very delicious Thai tea taste without being too sweet (even at regular sweetness). 10x better than the Thai tea I tried at a different cafe by the mall yesterday. Also was such a good price too. The man working here was incredibly nice and helpful and even let me try how the Thai tea would taste at regular sweetness before buying. Amazing customer service here. Highly recommend you check out for a sweet treat in downtown Fargo.
