Just picked up an order from here. Their food is always amazing but they definitely need to work on their promises a bit. I called ahead and was told 10-15 minutes. Since I live a little bit away I headed right over. I got there 20 minutes later expecting a quick pick up and go. I wasn't so lucky. They said "Just another minute". So I look around and see about 15 others waiting and go outside to maintain social distance. About 10 minutes later they call me in. 35 minutes so far. They hand me my sandwiches and tell me "Pizza will be out in a minute". I decide to wait inside so nobody grabs the sandwiches figuring it's only another minute. Ten minutes later I see my pizza go in the oven. WTF?!?! At this point I'm stuck. I paid. Waited 3x as long as promised. And the pizza still needs to cook. A few minutes later it finally comes out and I finally leave. Total time 53 minutes. The thing is I have no problem with the food taking this long. If I were told that up front I could have run another errand or two. Instead I was in a hot pizza restaurant worried that I'm catching COVID because everyone else was told 10-15 minutes too. After 35 minutes my delivery arrives and it's just the onion rings & dessert - no chicken sandwich, I called Crust N Fire and after being disconnected the first time, I spoke with a young lady who told me I could contact DoorDash for a refund or they could make the sandwich and I could pick it up (which defeats the purpose of ordering delivery). When I asked how this happened, it was a small order - dinner, side & dessert, she told me that they're really busy and sometimes it happens. Seriously, your job is to make sure that you're making the orders correctly! We ordered 2 pizzas, two salads, and a smoothie for delivery. The delivery ended up taking two trips as they forgot the pizza. That's ok as that happens occasionally and they were pretty fast with a delivery time from order of 40 minutes. The cauliflower pizza was ok for a plain cheese pizza, thin crispy crust with good flavor (small size). The Brooklyn pizza was a bummer. Pretty much just pizza dough with some sauce and a little cheese that fell off as you picked up the slice. The salads and smoothies were good and I would recommend them with the exception of the Buffalo Chicken Salad which had way too much sauce and turned into a mush bowl pretty quickly. read more

Well I've been frequenting this joint for years now . Usually amazing big fat flavorful fresh burgers . Ordered tonight and was given a hard time saying we didn't pay when we ordered through the slice app. Had to wait another 30 mins for order . We went to this place today on a lark because we were nearby. And I have every intention of going again. It's a small, casual place in a strip mall but it's very clean and the staff were all very nice. My daughter and I shared the Power salad and it was delicious. They put the chicken on my half as she's a vegetarian. She got the veggie burger and really liked it. She's had some really gross veggie burgers in her young life and stopped ordering them for a few years so I always appreciate a place that has a good one. I had a burger also, the one with the blue cheese and mushrooms, very yummy. I took home personal pizzas for my husband and son and both liked what they got. I've supported the Larchmont location from the day it opened its doors. Chose not to use gift certificates throughout the pandemic to truly support them. Not sure if it's just really hard for them to find good help (I know a lot of places are struggling with this) or if they got too big, too quick, by opening other locations, but both food and service are horrible. It's been trending in this direction for some time now, but I had a horrible experience a couple of weeks ago and no one cared. Was getting sushi next door and saw this place thought I'd try it out. I'd say skip it if your looking for quality pizza. The different type of speciality pizzas they offer are actually pretty decent. The only thing is the dough they use tastes like cardboard. I tried 3 different specialty pizzas and and there was no taste to them at all. The dough is what makes a great pizza not what you throw on top of it. The only reason I took away one star is is because they're still in need of working out some of the kinks.
