Just moved to the area and getting around to the Pizza shops. Honestly, this was not good. It seems like they put the mozzarella sticks, french fries, chicken tenders, and panzerotti all in the same fry basket for the same amount of time. Super fried, super greasy, super well done. I might try again and order the pizza, but I will definitely not be getting another panzerotti. Half of our order went in the trash but my husband said the pizza was pretty good. read more

After seeing an article about how good the boardwalk style pizza is, It would be a crime for us not to try it for ourselves. We ordered ours for pickup, It was promptly ready. We got half pepperoni and eagerly waited about 15 minutes for it to properly cool some. No one wants to melt the shit out of the roof of your mouth. Wholly shit on a cracker this was absolutely phenomenal. There is not one stand out, everything was equally as impressive. Sauce was excellent and perfectly seasoned. Proper amount of cheese and perfectly salty as well.Buttery thin light crust which was sublime. This is now my top 3 and very happy we found and tried it out. A Cinnaminson, NJ Facebook group has had us on a Pizza tour since relocating to the area. It's safe to say, Milanese has our hearts. Everyone has their own pizza preferences but we've decided Milanese does a solid slice...crispy crust, and the perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and seasonings. Not to mention, the slices heat up and taste great the next day. Do yourself a favor and try their white slice with ricotta and spinach...it's incredible! read more

The food is decent, but the customer service and delivery have quickly gone downhill and most recently reached levels of pathetic. Each of the last 3 deliveries have been missing something I paid for and have arrived well after the estimated delivery time. This last delivery was a nightmare, arriving 2+ hours late. Everything was cold and the wings were not packaged correctly so the sauce spilled all over. It wound up soaking through the bag and all over and inside the pizza box. The delivery guy handed it to me with no hesitation, and I wound up with wing sauce all over my clothes, floors and counter. When I called to speak with the owner/manager and make him aware of my negative experience, he didn't seem to care. This place was quickly becoming my go to for delivery nights but, after my last few experiences, I've hit my limit...NEVER AGAIN. read more

Their cheese fries with bacon was pretty good. Give you a lot of amount seems like for everything. Mozzarella was ok too. Disappointed in the boost and the zappoli. Boost tasted off so my wife and I couldn't finish it. Had a weird after taste. Zappoli was literally like pizza crust with clumped up powdered sugar thrown on the top. So I decided to try a new pizza place today. This place has excellent ratings so I thought it couldn't be that bad. Stromboli tastes like boxed SteakUms, super greasy and in my particular delivery it was burnt to hell and also flat, my fiancé is still recovering from it on the toilet. Pizza was also extremely greasy and didn't arrive until 30 minutes after my original order because they forgot it the first time. My son ordered chicken fingers and he said "this was not good the chicken tastes fake" ..Garlic bread is super fluffy and thick like I wish the stromboli was.. but not a whole lot of garlic flavor. My pizza fries were amazing and thank god or else I would of been starved to death. I think you need a new pizza chef cause my 80 dollars just went down the drain :( read more

i keep trying this place because they're local and i WANT to like them. Pizza is always good but you get charged for toppings that they forget to put on the pizza. Cheese steaks are not their thing, well ok, they are not for ME would be more fair to say. Buffalo chicken cheese steaks are supposed to have wing sauce (regular hot sauce is ok too) and blue cheese, not just a cheesesteak drenched in hot sauce. the hot sauce was so cooked onto the meat that the whole steak was dry as a bone, on a dry roll, with two slices of unmelted american cheese. It was hard to eat. Delivery is quick and being able to order on their website is a plus so i hope things get better and I'm happy that they do have their loyal customers. For me I'll pass on ordering from them in the future. It's just not for me. read more

Bought a few so/so subs yesterday, a slice of cold pizza and a salad. The reason myself and my family will never to return to this location is the woman behind the counter. She was extraordinarily rude to us, the customers in line before us, and her coworkers. She got our order wrong and then huffed and puffed when we asked for the item we actually ordered. She grabbed the (wrong) slice out of the box, flung it back into the display and aggressively tossed in a cold slice of the right pizza. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what, but the entire staff behind her looked dejected as she threw her little tantrums over every task she was attempting to accomplish, from handing us our order to answering the phone - it all seemed too much for her. I accidentally order from here as opposed to the other Milanese around. I didn't want to not pick up the order I placed and I figured can't hurt to try another pizzeria. I will not make that mistake again!!! Unfortunately the pizza we ordered (extra large with meatball) missed the mark in all categories. Pizza was dried out, tasteless, cheese looked like oil separated from it. Very very thin crust. Meatballs tasted generic, no spice ( oregano, basil, nothing) So disappointed. The atmosphere and cashier is the only reason they didn't get a negative review. Place was cute, clean and the cashier counter girl was polite and friendly. I moved out of the area about 4 years ago and had Milanese for the first time since, last weekend. Every bite was delicious! First, my pizza turnover is the best one I've had since I was a kid. It was perfectly cooked and the cheese just tasted so fresh! My friend got the chicken parm dinner and Another friend got a chicken cheesesteak with friend onions. All of this food was outstanding. glad I waited THREE HOURS for a cold overcooked pizza just so I could throw it in the trash after working all day resulting in chicken nuggets in the air fryer for dinner! Takes balls serving that shitty ass pizza after a 3 hour wait. I was told the wait would be 1 1/2 hours which is Already too long for ONE pizza but 3 hours is unexceptable they should've stopped taking orders to catch up, then to top it off the pizza is freezing and hard. Ordered a cheesesteak Stromboli and its missing the cheesesteak! At first I thought we received a "cheese only" but then we found very small traces of actual cheesesteak. Just wanted to share my experience after being a customer since we moved to Palmyra. Pulled in to the parking today and before I could get the kids out of the car I was asked to leave by an older white gentleman with grey hair. I was told he 'has a restaurant to run and need the parking spaces' while there were two other spaces open and we were going to the ice cream shop across the street. I'm not sure who this man was but he was extremely rude before we even had a chance to get our girls out of the car. Even if I only planned on going to the ice cream shop, supporting local businesses and members of the community is how you build loyalty, so while this restaurant is going to treat customers like crap (absent any no parking signs of any kind) we won't be supporting them in anyway which is unfortunate because my wife loves their Gluten Free options. read more

There isn't much to say about Milanese pizza in Riverton. I have had it several times, as my family lives within walking distance of the restaurant. We ordered several pizzas and cheesesteaks for my nieces birthday. I was not impressed. The pizzas were average at best. The crust was dry and relatively flavorless. The cheesesteaks tasted like they were covered in salt. I was really disappointed in the meal. I believe that they stay busy because they are the only game in town. If you are willing to drive 5-10 min there are several better options. read more

Every town has to have a pizza shop. I think its law in NJ. This is Riverton's Pizza shop. It does a great job at being an-open seating classic walk up counter Pizza joint. TV in the corner type place. Kids always welcome here, paper plates, soda cups, and skinny thin napkins type fare. It's timeless. We've eaten here countless times, never have I had anything bad from the menu or served poorly. Pizza is good, steaks are good, Hoagies are good. Prices and portions are totally reasonable. Boost (a local drink) on tap, and in "Slushy" form! Lots of options for everyone. Great wings and good salads too! One of my favorites is the buffalo chicken salad. If your in town, and just want to grab a slice without a fuss, this place is the deal. When we have family from out of town, they BEG us to go there. :) not much arm twisting! Service is quick and friendly. Parking can be limited out front (Street parking).. so we often park in the lot across the street (the Riverton public parking lot.. not the dance studio.. the dance studio seems to have some sort of angst against parking..) read more

When this shop first opened, the pizza was positively delicious. Sadly, that was several years ago and a lot has changed since. Last night was the FINAL food I will ever order here; the menu has already been tossed into the recycle bin. Let me start by saying we always order take out pizza, usually with pepperoni. A few months back when we we ordered a large pepperoni pie, the box contained a medium pie with 2 pepperoni pieces on each slice. This is hardly what you would call a pepperoni pizza - the topping was really skimpy! The next time I ordered, I told the girl on the phone what happened previously and said to make sure they put enough pepperoni on the pizza. Same thing was in the box, except some slices had only 1 piece of pepperoni instead of 2. Even skimpier toppings. And the next time I ordered, I told the girl about the previous 2 incidents and told her I wanted to make sure the pizza had plenty of pepperoni, so I ordered EXTRA pepperoni. I paid for extra toppings alright, but the pizza looked exactly the same as it did the previous time with 1 piece on some slices, 2 pieces on others. We decided to stop going there because they apparently are cheaping out on the toppings on the pizza. Three times in a row was enough. That all happened between October and November of 2012. So here it is 2013 and Lent started yesterday. I suggested we get a plain pizza and to give Milanese another try at plain. The girl told me 20 to 25 minutes. We arrived at the 20 minute mark and the pizza was boxed and ready. When we opened the box at home (4 minutes away), the pizza was already cold and the cheese was solid, like it was out of the oven for 10 minutes already when we got it. Why would the order taker tell you to come so late? Doesn't she know (or care) that there are no pizza orders waiting to be made? Further, the dough was completely overworked: it was tough, chewy, thick and partially dried out. Without a doubt this was the worst pizza I ever had from Milanese and in my top 3 Worst Pizzas Ever. Reading the other reviews, It must be the same rude, inpatient woman answering the phone- I thought maybe she was having a bad day- but someone said the same thing months ago about her. I had ordered a roast pork sandwich that was made with expired meat. It literally smelled like fish. Ordered mild wings that were gray, no sauce. Pizza was well overdone. Management did seem very apologetic and were willing to fix one of our orders but after screwing it up a couple of times we are done with this place. Save your money. read more

We love Milanese! It's one of our favorite places for pizza and Stromboli. We always pick up our orders, so I can't comment on delivery. The food is always delicious and we've never had a problem with the staff. Once there was a mistake in our order and it was handled right away. When Milanese moved to their current location(years ago) on Howard Street, I really wanted to like them and I wanted to believe the food would be good. However, that has not been the case. Positives - From the location, to the exterior of the shop ... it's nice. It looks like a quaint, mom & pop style pizza place that you would expect to find in a nice town like Riverton. The people behind the counter seemed friendly too. Negatives - Gotta start off with the pizza. I've had their pizza numerous times over the years and my biggest gripe is that the pizza itself is just too thin. The dough is flimsy like paper. I had 2 slices and finished them like were nothing. The crust, cheese and sauce weren't bad ... but I couldn't get over how thin and unsatisfying the pizza was. And this is coming from a guy who doesn't like thick crust or deep-dish style pizzas either. On my last visit, I said forget the pizza. I decided to order a pork roll, egg and cheese. Well, they forgot to put eggs on my sandwich, so i was just left with a pork roll and cheese sandwich. And I was charged close to $7.00 for it. Very disappointing. read more

Worst pizza place EVER! We have ordred from there several times only to be severely disappointed by Milanese. They showed up well over an hour after given the estimated time of 30 minutes, they screwed our order up and on top of it our food was COLD! The food is good but wow, they have awful customer service techniques and do not know how to make a customer happy. When I called back to say they forgot things, I received attitude from the girl and the guy who delivered was pissed he had to come back! I will never go here again and I have already warned my many friends in the area that their service/delivery is the WORST looks like we will stick to our favorfite place! Very disappointing. We've ordered from them twice and I'm not too keen on making it 3 times. Their food is decent & the people pretty nice, but my 1st experience was take out and of the two items ordered, one got screwed up. They were very apologetic & nice so I thought we'd give delivery a try. My family ordered 4 items plus a 2 liter of Coke for delivery. We were told 45 minutes. Nearly an hour and a half later, the food finally arrives, and it's cold...cheese on pizza and cheese fries conjealed, just compltetly unappitizing...and they forgot the Coke. It's a shame because we were really excited to try somewhere new, but I guess that proves the old addage " if it's not broke, don't fix it"...DiVincenzo's has served us well for almost 10 years...not once have they messed up oir order or been that late.
