Already in love! Stopped in with some friends to check out this new spot on Lasalle. They've done a beautiful job with the space and it fits West Hartford Center so well. I especially loved the light fixtures at the bar. Crush was on my radar from the second I found out they had orange wine. Spoiler alert: it's not literally orange wine. Just a white wine that's loved a little differently. Another spoiler alert? I don't like orange wine. I prefer a sweeter wine which resulted in getting the suggested orange sangria. The orange sangria was also not for me. Me and my friend ended up switching drinks and I loved the baby beach colada. It was very refreshing and light. My second drink was the white sake Negroni and that was delicious as well. We passed a bunch of food around the table and loved every single thing. I would say the charred broccoli could've been cooked a bit longer but that's what strong teeth are for lol. Don't miss out on the focaccia, Calabrian sausage, or that half chicken. Those had to be my top items on the table! The service was also top notch! You can tell that everyone is very passionate about the menu and having a good time. I'm looking forward to headed back and exploring more of the menu.

Who knew this wine bar has been selling out with fried chicken on Thursdays?? It's easy to see why - it was DELICIOUS, and they have tasty sides and sauces to go with. My favorite side was the dill potato salad, but the black pepper biscuits were so good too! This is the only spot I've seen do "fancy nuggies", which I think is such a fun idea! The fried green tomato finger sandwich and stuffed eggplants were more favorites from the regular menu, and the mocktails were fantastic. Such a cool addition to West Hartford Center that I hope to visit again soon! Our server was attentive and friendly, and was especially great at making sure our water glasses were always filled.

We had reservations for Saturday night, we loved the decor, our server was very friendly and professional. The food was just ok in my opinion. We ordered the duck prosciutto, octopus skewers (super small), the sweet potatoes skewers (super small), Calabrian sausage (too spicy) and the bistro steak (super small and dry). The list of wines is impressive! We ordered a glass of Rioja and a glass of the light red both really good!

Crush Wine Bar is the newest MUST go-to if you're in West Hartford. The interior is gorgeous, the furniture and atmosphere is so intentional. The service is impeccable. We sat at the bar and our bartender was highly skilled and even took time to explain the steps he took to make a few of our cocktails. Brandon is one of the food servers and he is a star! He will make you laugh as he presents the food to you. He's going to be a reason we come back again and again for sure. Vish and his team are doing such a marvelous job. We love the stuffed fresh figs! They were a texture HEAVEN. Their white wine flight was fun, allowing us to taste the different white wines they offer. Overall, you must come visit. Crush is a gorgeous spot and it's amazing what they've done with this location! Come for the food, but stay for the inviting customer service!

The food, drinks, service, and overall vibe were great. Definitely going back to try their next seasonal menu. Make sure you get the steak.

We visited Arethusa Farms years ago, and we felt like pioneers discovering gold. I digress. I loved our experience at Le Mazet. I made a reservation for our visit and was seated promptly at a beautiful table near the front door. The entire dining area is gorgeous--so much attention to detail. Service throughout our meal was attentive and friendly. I had the boeuf bourguignon and it was so tender and seasoned perfectly. I also had the bread service, featuring sourdough from Small State Provisions--the perfect accompaniment to this hearty stew. We both drank Le Poney Roses, which were balanced and beautiful--a fabulous mocktail that really embodies the spirit of a cocktail. We weren't rushed at all and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I will be back for more!

New Year's Eve dinners/New Year's day brunch specials, in my experiences, have always been a cash grab by restaurants where you would get a decent meal but always leave hungry or the opposite where the price was super extravagant yet food was mediocre at best. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE!!! Food was amazing. Chicken was spiced and fried to perfection. Crunchy without being greasy. I refuse to eat fried chicken in public yet almost human eating this with people around. Juicy meat, 4 piece of half breast, wing, thigh and drummy all meaty. Sides of picked pepper mac&cheese and Cole slaw. My wife tore into that coleslaw like her life depended on it and was everything she's been looking for in a slaw Breakfast burrito was packed full of goodness, substantial. Side of potatoes which could've been a meal in of itself. $19 and well worth it. Brought half home for breakfast the next day. All in all, not only was their value in the prices offered throughout the menu, the food is incredible. Service was amazing. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, good eye for when we needed something without us having to ask. Perfect start to the new year and aching to come back for dinner. It was worth staying home NYE and falling asleep early in order to be fresh and ready for this dining experience.

My companions had slices of confetti cake - the frosting was meringue! Their specialty cocktails were varied with interesting, flavorful combinations- not the usual. I decided to try a Manhattan instead which was very, very smooth. Our server, Lonnie, was very gracious and attentive.
