Did we get the display cookies because both the red velvet and butter cream cheese were HARD AS FUCKKKKK. Like I never had a cookie that hard. In addition to the OG, we had the s'mores cookie, two Nutella cookies and the oreo cookies and cream ice cream. Ice cream cup is one size but portion is generous and can be shared. Everything was a hit. The only thing I didn't care for was the price -- $4.95 per cookie or $18.95 for 4. While they are large cookies, Crush is no Levain, which sells their cookies at a similar price point. We got here just as the store was opening and the staff let us know we were in for a treat as a lot of things were freshly baked. Picking just 4 cookies was hard but with the Canadian dollar not being in our favour we settled for fruity pebbles, original blubbery oatmeal, crème brûlée and cinnamon toast crunch. These cookies were huge so 4 was definitely the right choice. The fruity pebble had great flavour but it's one of the thinner ones so if you prefer gooeyier cookies make your way over to the cream brûlée because mannnnnn was it worth the 8 hour drive. I have never been to the Crumble Cookie Bar but I've heard good things from a colleague at work. Decided to order a few for delivery today for a cousins birthday in Hackensack. I ordered via DoorDash. They charged a small convenience fee but it was worth it. I received a text from The crumble cookie bar when the order was received, I also received a text from doordash when my order was picked up from the store and when it was delivered. My cousin was very surprised when he received the delivery. I was told The cookies arrived in tact, within 20 minutes when the order was placed and they arrived nwarm. Thank you for providing such great service. I didn't get a chance to try them myself but the recipient absolutely loved them! The photo attached has a huge bite mark on each and every cookie. I realized when I saw the photo that some of my cookies were replaced with others without my knowledge. Crumble, however, did give us an extra cookie because they no longer carried the marshmallow one I ordered. (They left a a note). I plan to place another order soon and next time for myself. My friend and I walked into this place for dessert during a recent dinner outing. It's clean and updated. The desserts are in a nice display so you can see your choices. We selected 3 cookies and a blondie rice crispy treat. The peanut butter flavored cookie was a highlight as was the creme brûlée. They actually broke out a blow torch to caramelize the top of the cookie. Really cool. I adore this place. My sister & I stopped here after a concert & dinner a couple blocks away. It was late, around 11pm and they were the only place still open. I searched them on Google earlier in the day & made it my mission to go. And WOW. So worth it. My sister bought 4 cookies to bring home to her family & I bought 4 cookies... for myself lol. She and I both agreed that the cinnamon toast crunch cookie was the best, but the fruity pebbles cookie was also unforgettable. The cookies were big, soft & warm. And shout out to the staff who were so cool & working their butts off when a huge crowd came in after us. AND the inside of the place is adorable & colorful. I had such high hopes for this business. My sister and brother-in-law were raving about this place. I was so excited to try it. I finally get a chance to visit them after dinner and it was such a let down. Here's why: Upon ordering our treats the cashier took our order wrong but did not notice until we received our first ice cream order. My brother-in-law ordered a "cup" of ice cream and the cashier rung up a "couple" - meaning two of the same ice cream. Atleast that was his excuse for putting in two orders of the same thing. My order however was a bit of a disaster. I ordered the larger ice cream in mason jar, particularly to do content and promote their business. The ice cream comes out and the guy who made it forgot to include my toppings, so it was a topping-less ice cream which I had paid for 2 additional toppings. Immediately as he presented it to me I tell him it's missing my toppings and him and the cashier tell me to wait (there's been a line forming behind us at this point). I wait as 3-4 more customers order and now the group I'm with has finished eating their ice cream and I'm holding a rapidly melting milk shake. I try to speak with the cashier again and he continues to ask me to wait but takes more orders. It has been over 15min and I'm still waiting. Now the shop is packed with people and there's an issue with the mixing machine so they tell everyone Ice cream Is sold out and all they have are cookies. I'm still waiting and I pull the cashier aside and tell him I've been waiting wayyy too long and need this rectified. I suggest to him if I can have a cookie to mix into my ice cream. He quickly dumps the cookie into a box that doesn't fit the cookie itself causing it to break in half and tells me to have a good night. I wanted to love this place but the service was terrible. I really wanted ice cream after going to the park and Ice Cream on Grand was closed. Was really excited after finding this place, and though they didn't pick up the phone, we decided to take our chances and see if they were open. Luckily they were, and honestly the place looks a little empty and forlorn probably because of COVID, but we armed ourselves with our masks and walked in. They have vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and birthday cake ice cream that you can have your choice of cereal or poptarts mixed in, and toppings. There are also tons of options for cookies. We got vanilla ice cream with cocoa pebbles and it was way better than I expected it to be. The machine they use is kind of like the one at Mavi's before they stopped offering the special ice cream creations, and the ice cream texture was similar too. Soft, with crunch because of the cereal, and just a bit too melty on a hot day so you have to rush to eat it a little. I would absolutely come back for the ice cream. I do wish it was a bit cheaper with more sizes, but I understand that might not be possible because they have to mix it with the special machine. One cup was enough for two. The cookies are large, and I only tried the nutella one the next day after microwaving it a bit, but they're pretty good--not as worth it as the ice cream though. The biggest differences by far and there were three are the following: 1) MORE OPTIONS!!!! Including POP TARTS instead of cereal if that's your thing and it most certainly was mine. 2) When we ordered you could tell they're fresh but not only that but the wait time after placing said order is non-existent. Haven't experienced that at the other place 3) This could just be due to timing but we had a conversation with one of the owners and it was great! I mean you honestly felt as a consumer that they care about what they are doing. Love the personal touch. All in all I would drive past local options to come here.
