Nationwide insurance used this quack to get out of paying a claim. I sustained water damage to my floors where water came through an interior chimney. The chimney has water stains at the base and the only floor damaged is around the chimney. Kenneth was very very rude when he came on site. His "inspection" consisted of asking questions, taking measurements inside the house, taking pictures inside the house, and taking a moisture reading inside the house. He never inspected the crawl space, yet his report to Nationwide was that the damage to my floors was due to excessive moisture from the crawlspace. In other words, his claim was that "moisture" in my crawlspace penetrated 6 to 8 inches of closed-cell foam insulation and 15lb asphalt paper to warp my hardwood floors and rot the wood beneath them and this "moisture" only happened to penetrate these water barriers around my chimney (where the water stains are). I've talked to other insurance companies and I've retained a lawyer. We will be litigating this of course. I've been a customer of Nationwide insurance since 1981. The only thing Crump Engineering accomplished for Nationwide, is that he lost them a long time customer. read more
