This week is yummy but I feel other weeks they are going downhill and desperate. Some are cakes and I prefer cookies!

They originally messed up our order, but was quick to fix it. Service was good. Place was clean and smells like cookie dough.

The service is amazingly friendly and pretty fast. We stopped in around 2pm on a Friday, so I'm betting morning hours are a bit crazier. We got a cinnamon roll, strawberry/raspberry danish, cherry danish and cannoli for the pastries. My husband got a slice of their pizza as well and their drip coffee. The coffee was surprisingly good! The pizza sadly was mistakenly switched with another patron's piece (they take it back to the kitchen and heat it up for you). The piece my husband was given was laced with onions; something he never would have ordered. Oh well. They also don't put their pizza options on the chalkboard which I think needs to change. We didn't see that there was a pepperoni kind until we already ordered! The danishes were both very good, but I think they need to change the bread that they are baked on. It's way too dense. But the flavor was outstanding! The cinnamon roll was also very good. The cannoli kind of missed the mark for me. Overall, worth a visit and I think some minor tweaks could go a long way!

I went in for the club sandwich and came back the next day to sample more. Their French onion pizza out of this world. AND Red velvet peasant bread, also an absolute jaw dropper. Cookies and croissants so fresh they made the whole travel home which my husband echoed my sentiments. Ambient back patio and the hallway leading to gives you a great glimpse into the baking behind the scene. Wonderful staff and service and they seem to know their regulars. Wishing I lived closer. Still daydreaming about the food. YUM!

Ordered the pulled pork platter with two sides and it was terrible. The apples were cold and tasteless. With the cornbread they used to give you a big square of homemade cornbread but now you get a little muffin shaped piece about 2" in diameter and hard as a rock (see photo). The pulled pork tasted bad and after about five minutes after I was done, it hit my stomach and I got very sick. Luckily there is a Family Dollar store across the street and I went there and bought some Imodium. Had to stick around and use Bonnie Blue's restroom twice before felt comfortable enough to make the 45 minute drive back to my home. Got home and felt so bad that I went straight to bed. Obviously I got food poisoning at Bonnie Blue's and think they left the pork out too long and this is why. See photo of my my receipt and the pulled pork platter. Will never go back there & would warn others to avoid this place unless you want to possibly get very sick like I did.

We were able to get a bar seat overlooking the parking lot. They do have a big round table if you have a few more ppl in your party. Our neighbor had a ginormous stack of plates and let me say he barely left anything on his plate. He had BBQ. We ordered b'fast food. My eggs were cooked to perfection, potatoes were on point and you got a lot of them, bacon was fantastic and it wasn't limp, and the white bread I had toasted was so yummy. My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy and she said it was delicious. Coffee was good and strong. I def want to come back to try the BBQ.

I only regret not seeing the option for hot sauce before I place the order (ordering process was just that smooth). Loved seeing people come in and spoken to like friends. You can tell they care. Slightly awkward back and forth confirming my name, but I was pretty non-presenting and scraggy that day so it's understandable. Vegetarian options = Yup! Walked in to the very small space and were told we needed to order online, so we got out our phones and scanned one of the many QR code signs posted on every surface anordered - two bagels, one with cream cheese and the other with butter. He confirmed he received the orders immediately- even before the payment had gone through. That seemed like a good sign. We waited and watched while he made salads and other orders for people who presumably ordered online before us, but didn't come in to pick up while we were there. Eventually he made our bagels, put them in cardboard baskets, covered them with aluminum foil (not sure why we needed that cardboard waste -- would have been happy with my bagel just wrapped in foil), covered them with paper towels, put them each in separate paper bags, and placed them on the counter while calling our names (even though we were the only people in the place and he had confirmed he knew who we were when he received the order). We took the bagels and walked across the street and got our coffees from the cute cat cafe with the friendly staff. Hit the road, and pulled out our bagels in the car. First bite was so bad that I tossed the rest of the bagel back in the bag... it was so crunchy it was more of a thick bagel chip, and shards of bagel stuck between my teeth like splinters. Certainly one-of-a-kind, I've never had another bagel like it. About 10 miles later I was hungry enough to get the bagel out and try again... this time I kneaded it through the aluminum foil a bit to bread it up first. It was still very crunchy and sharp, but there were some softer bits toward the middle. There wasn't much flavor, except where it was drenched in butter (and those bites tasted like butter, which isn't a bad taste I guess). TLDR, if you want bagels in Winchester WV skip this place and go to Sclafani's.

I paid $250 for a two-tier cake UNDECORATED. I added all of the items on the cake myself. You can clearly see they missed the ombre color scheme. This year, I ordered a 3 layer cake with a colored photo provided by my granddaughter. I requested pink, purple, pink inside with strawberry filling. They missed the color of the cake inside and outside completely. Pink vs neon pink. The cake tasted awful. The icing was slopped on the cake without care. It melted 45 minutes into transport. There was not enough support inside the cake as the top layer slid off during transport. They made an entirely different cake! A $10 refund was offered. It's such a joke. I wasn't able to pick up cake due to my father passing away. So my son picked up the cake. He couldn't refuse the cake bc it was going directly to the party. He had no time to change or complain. My granddaughter was so upset she didn't get the cake SHE picked out. Look at the photos, and YOU choose if YOU want to do business with them. The first picture was the cake my granddaughter chose. The rest of the photos are the cake we received. The girl answering the phone said the owner sits home and does paperwork. She does not come in the bakery to do any baking or decorating. That in itself allows you to make your decision if you want to do business with them. If you are looking for quality and specifics, try another bakery. Joyce, the former owner, is no longer here who took pride in everything that went out the door.  I am disputing the $72 charge with my bank.
